At 16:00, you mentioned living entities's appearance as pastimes(LILA), that is not true. Lord's appearance and disappearance and his activities when he appears in this material world are called pastimes, not ours. Because Lord doesn't has any desire but living entities do. That's why Lord's pastimes do not change, they are repetitive, but our desires change and thus our birth and activities change too.
Lord is all satisfied in himself, he has no desire to enjoy material world. The reason for creation of this material world is to satisfy desires of living entities and to attract living entities back to spiritual world, Lord appears in material world without any desire for himself and his birth & activities are called pastimes.
Another thing you should recall from previous chapters are how living entities remain in dormant state inside MahaVishnu after Lord wraps up universe (Like a spider winds up cobweb). But as living entities still have desires or develop desires, Lord again manifests universe and actually many innumerable universes, and this keeps on going.
Lord is all satisfied and remain in spiritual world and comes in his own created material world to remind living entities that they are spiritual beings and therefore they can never be completely satisfied in material world. Lord's message like Bhagavad gita has been uttered by Lord so many times like in the past to Vivasvana Manu(Suryadeva) and so many other times. Lord's pastimes are so beautiful and extraordinary because he is not under control of material energy, therefore his activities look to us like miracle and unbelievable. But only those living entities who are exhausted with material struggle, are attracted by Lord's pastimes and develop desire to follow Lord's instruction and go back to the spiritual world, our actual home.
Lord's pure devotees' birth and activities are also sometimes called pastimes because they also don't have any desire as such but to serve the Lord(like many acaryas, Vyasadeva, even Srila Prabhupada himself), play a part in Lord's pastimes(Like Prahlada Maharaj and many more), to guide living entities back to Godhead.
Sorry, i had cringe everytime you called our lives as pastimes and which made ended up writing whole paragraph. Please forgive me.
The thing is when you finish this reading and start Srimad Bhagavatam again next time you should read Srimad Bhagvatam alongwith its purport that will clarify your most of understandings, although it may take very long time to finish the entire volumes unless you read it everyday. I can see you are reading from Srila Prabhupada's books which has purport written by him painstakingly at the age of 70+ just to guide us back to Godhead. Why would anyone write at the age of 70+ when he knows he can die at any moment, still he did this just to spread the message of Lord without misunderstanding. That is a pure devotee working tirelessly to serve the Lord and we should take benefit of reading with his commentary.
His life itself is such a beautiful pastime to connect with Lord in such natural way, which has been compiled in a book set called "Lilamrita". I would highly highly recommend that.
