It's completely smashing Brillant, Song of the year, at least. Know the Ruts for 40 years. Didn't know, they still exists. Light beyond the tunnel, amazing.
Still have never been able to see them live but I can dream. Bit hard when living in Australia but maybe one day. I'll have to make do with knowing that the band were from my local area back in the day and Malc lived around the corner from my parents.
First band I ever saw The Ruts '79 in Cardiff. Awesome gig, awesome band still stands the test of time on all the old stuff. Going to see them support The Stranglers in 3 weeks :)
Here in Melbourne the other night they played a short set due to time constraints unfortunately, but still awesome. West One, In A Rude, Staring at the Rude Boys, Jah War....pure brilliance. I've seen them twice in the last couple of years and the only drawback was that they didn't play H-Eyes and Love in Vain

Great band don't get the credit they deserve in punk folkllaw when people talk about clash, pistols, gen x, the stranglers, sham 69,this band are overlooked, great to see them still playing, top band

Pozz.I know Ruts from early days.They tourned Belgrad( Dunno Zagreb also!?) with Malcolm as singer in ex Yu.Malcolm signed of hand friend of mine Darko( Raven).Darko didn t washed his hand for ca. 2 weeks.Petrovac na Mlavi( Serbia)we have had strong Punk and Rock scene.
Love it - great video and track. One of the best bands playing live today, new material is really strong. Seen them a few times in Brighton ( Stranglers support was great ), last few at 100Club amazing! They never disappoint... Buying new album this weekend

great song & band but it's sad they have lost the Ruts DC sound now the chorus could be Alice Cooper I saw the Ruts live twice 1979 supporting the Damned(they blew the Damned off stage) & 1980 but missed Ruts DC 1st time saw them when they reformed funnily supporting the Damned(& they blew the Damned off stage again)

Saw these guys live in Bath 2024 they were absolutely awesome, tight af band.

The favourite band of my youth. Others had The Stranglers, SLF, The Dammed, The Jam, etc....but these guys were and still are mine. Cannot be topped.

Ruts Dc -as always - spot on on all counts - this is the best thing I personally have heard in years - Dave Ruffy -genius drummer.
