    Can’t wait for a full season under Danny , it’s nice to see us get some well needed business done early, I’m not getting too carried away. But it’s really refreshing being abit organised and rohl talking about the way he wants to play. Very exited for the new season.

    Cannot believe that Rosenoir has not been snapped up by someone after his achievements at Hull last season on a limited budget. Foreign managers always a gamble in this country, will depend on the squad they have available as normal. Cannot deny what a great job Rohl did last season to keep Wednesday up. Hope Cleverley has not decided to warm his seat for too long at Watford. Portsmouth to be the surprise for me even though I am a Rams fan. Warne has a point to prove and his budget will decide on his possible success.

    Very curious to see how Neil Harris, Martin Cifuentes as well as our own Danny Röhl fare thie season. If they pick up where they left off, it could be a very interesting season indeed.
    Hope that Rooney finally gets it right simply because he's trying so hard to make it as a manager and this is most likely his last chance. For Plymouth I reckon that would be mid table somewhere. Hope that for whatever reason Wilder and Farke both bomb, Wilder especially as he's looking moreand more like a spent force.

    Just heard your bit on Schumacher and I'm curious on where you'll place Stoke this coming season. It's still early days for transfers but I think we've made some alright deals (permanent no 1, experience at CB, desperately needed LB option) so the early signs seem good. As a person I really like him and hope not just for my club but for SS himself that he gets us up the league, the last 6+ years though have really taught me not expect much going into a new season as sad as it seems.

    Neil Warnock deserves an honorary mention, surely? Farke won the Championship title twice with Norwich, thus sparing Norwich fans the emotional turmoil of the play-offs. It's worth considering that he'd been away from the English game for a couple of seasons before taking the Leeds job. At the other end of your list , it will be interesting to see how quickly Norwich's new head coach can adjust to the Championship. No offence to Plymouth fans but Wayne Rooney is an odd appointment and his managerial CV is far from impressive. It's unusual for a big-name player to make a successful transition to management. Looking at the list, it's hard to predict which clubs are going to be competing for promotion, or which ones will be battling relegation; that's the joy of the Championship.

    Farke
    Corberan
    Edwards
    Wilder
    Parker.
    Farke because of his record with Norwich, so he deserves top sport.
    Coberan becuase of the fantastic season he had with Huddersfield.
    Edwards because he took a team on a low budget to the prem and did finish highest out of those 3. I still believe, if it wasn't for the 12 injuries, we might have done it.
    Wilder, his record speaks for itself. I will admit, he hasn't been great lately.
    Parker. He's a strange one. I want to put him lower. Both his promotions have been with parachute payments and I don't particularly like his style of football. His a meh, type of character.

    If you are just going on championship form up till today. Paul Warne has got to be 24th. He's got to have the worst overall record in that division.

    • @BenjaminBloom
      @BenjaminBloom  23 дня назад

      If you remove all the context of being the manager of the club with the smallest budget in the Championship then I’d agree

    • @asifeyeam5092
      @asifeyeam5092 23 дня назад

      Yeah I get all the caveats that are added on. But some teams have done quite well with small budgets and doesn't lead to relegation. I should say in no way will Paul Warne lead Derby to relegation, if there's any danger of that happening he'll be gone and Frank lampard will be in as Derby manager.😮

    I’m Not just saying this because I’m a Sheffield Wednesday fan but let’s be honest here
    How can the Sheff Utd players trust Chris Wilder when he Walked out
    on the first Team at Bramhall lane when he was also a Blade fan because he was leaving a sinking ship
    So I don’t understand how the players can trust him at all & I think the fans are only behind him because of what he did for the club last time with taking them from league one were they was for 6 seasons as they couldn’t get out of it to the premier league within 2 seasons so I do understand it
    But I think his best days are definitely behind him but hey let’s see
    What do other fans think ?? 🤷🏼‍♂️🤷🏼‍♂️

      Wilder is still dining out on his (deserved) reputation but he seemed to throw the players under the bus towards the end of the season. They need more of a rebuild than the other relegated clubs, so I think they'll struggle

    FARKE has not done it for me, he lost the team from Easter onwards and he didn’t know how to get the team back. Every team had worked out his tactics and decided to press and we wobbled. Very much like Southgate no idea and changes things too late, wrong selections and subs way too late. Betting he will be gone before Xmas. Thanks for the research 👍

      As an argyle fan, I agree Rooney should be bottom based on his record to date. The big question is how will success be judged given the size of club we are and budget that Argyle have compared to others in this league. For me, keeping us up without relying on final day results will do me. Perhaps I'm not ambitious enough but realistic. In a way Rooney has put himself between a rock and a hard place to start with.
