Farmers livelihood is threatened far more by climate change but republicans, farmers and ranchers choose to ignore this fact that the climate is changing without us trying to see if we can fix it before it's to late.
Because climate change is an abstract thing appreciated by deeply studying the data, drawing statistical inferences using single proven models and checking these against empirical observations. It’s all too much for a MAGA brain. Their brains are far more primitive. What gets them fear struck is the possibility of bears and wolves on their property; people with extra melanin in their communities and imaginary caravans of rapists pouring over the border.
Protection of apex predators is based on protection of the entire ecosystem. Republicans fail high school science every day.
