Weather you appreciate it or not,Singapour is a great nation owing its great success to its visionary leadership and hard-working people! While good or dark history is part of the journey and its country has its own ,what matters most are lessons drawn from it and move forward! Look around the world, all countries and continents did not follow a linear path for their development so that why I praise Singapour and its leader for their great achievements...❤

@@deschan2246 He has been observing PM Lee from afar...didn't he said that ? Also Rwanda is modelled after Singapore so I am not surprised why this gentleman has so much respect for PM Lee and Singapore, and also how much his country has progressed.
@@KtmRoamer Much love from Rwanda. It's true over the last two decades,Singapour has inspired our development model and PM Lee came even in Rwanda during the Common Wealth gathering in 2022 and my country has good diplomatic ties with Singapour! Best!

CNA why did you cut the last question? it can be seen on Mothership's full length video. It was the most emotional question of all which made PM tear up a little. The reporter recollected what Mr LKY said in 1999 when he was asked would LHL be the DPM if he wasn't his son. Mr LKY replied that if LHL was not his son, he would have been PM already - because it was clear that LHL could run faster than anyone. PM gave a modest answer that his ambition was for Singapore to run alongside him. But you could see that PM was getting emotional. As intelligent, as influential, as powerful a leader as PM is, at the end of the day, he is his father's son. And he is happy to have made his Dad proud.
And we as a country share in that joy!

Very inspiring and well balanced politician. All younger aspiring politician can gain a lot from his career as a transparent Pm for his country and people and be proud of him as an inspiring leader like his predecessors. His successors will be well guided to keep Singapore safe and prosperous for its people and younger generations. Striking the right balance to be inclusive for people of all abilities will be better than to emphasise on striving for high ambitions and monetary achievements will put less stress on parents and young achievers. There should be room for people of all abilities to be encouraged to express their valuable contribution as a law abiding resident.

He ruled Singapore like a medieval church. He played the believers versus non believers game. The behaviours of PAP politicians (believers) in the parliament have been like those obsequious priests. Question, do you think the highly-paid PAP politicians dare to speak up for the people?
