The irony, if Lucius had just touched the dark mark instead of being extra about it (aka savoring the moment he about to get his life back) things could have have been very different

In the book it was Bellatrix and she actually touched her dark mark to call Voldemort, but then Harry escaped and Voldy punished the Malfoys and Bellatrix severely. In the movie Voldemort apparently never even knew about the escape.

I never got why Voldemort had the goblins he killed at Malfoy Manor in the movie the leaves with Nagini presumably for the Malfys to clean up the mess...? Feel like context was needed that the film couldn't be bothered to put it, despite DH Pt 2 being the shortest put of all the films

Well, in the book he killed the goblins and guards from Gringotts for telling him that his Horcrux (the Hufflepuff cup) was stolen from the Lestrange vault. If you look closely at this scene, you can see Bellatrix sitting hunched over on the floor next to the fireplace. Voldemort apparently punished her for failing to keep the horcrux safe.

@@savvystarfire6667 Malfoy Manor was used as the death eaters head quarters at that time, and Voldemort was basically living there, that's probably why the guards and goblins were brought there.
