In social media, I find that most of the "both candidates bad" are mostly Trump supporters. You just have to probe them enough. They know that Trump is indefensible, so they make a case that Harris is also bad ( but avoid a comparison of how bad). Then they say that since both candidates are (equally) bad, choosing either would be equally bad and hence they are not morally wrong in choosing Trump.

I think no matter what state you are in this year we need landslide blue votes. I usually vote Independent, my last vote was for Howie Hawkins. We cant take the chance in any state. A landslide is needed. My TN vote went to Ksmala.

I'll admit that I voted for Stein in 2016 because I didn't like what Trump was saying and I had heard (but not verified) some nasty rumors about what Hillary was going to do. Third parties don’t have the capability to have seats in congress or even win the presidential race due to the “electoral college” and their campaigns only mess up even more with the bigger parties making the elections more tight. Unlike european countries where third parties do have a say in government, in the USA they are just a pawn for one party depending on who is on the race. If people who are tired of the GOP and the Democratic party and want to support a third party, the best option is to abolish the electoral college as its an obsolete mechanism to win by strategy and not by popular vote like many countries in the world. Bush and Trump won the presidency due to the electoral college but lost the popular vote and shows the ISA needs to update their electoral system to make it fair and also let third parties participate while also helping diversify the candidates for presidency, but as for now, third parties do more damage to America and while the Electoral College is still valid, their presidential candidates should dismiss from the race to avoid a situation like 2016.

Now Kamala Harris is best friends with Liz Cheney; one of the most vile and despicable politicians in our nation's history; her own father is responsible for the deaths of millions of innocent civilians over in Iraq and Afghanistan. I guess their newfound friendship and joint coalition is rather apt though considering how Kamala and her beloved Joe Biden are both liable for the gruesome deaths of tens of thousands of innocent civilians in Gaza, the West Bank, and Lebanon. Although a two party system is not explicitly mentioned in the constitution, it is a why we have a two party system. Our political parties are a result of what our government, as specified by the constitution, is.
In social media, I find that most of the "both candidates bad" are mostly Trump supporters. You just have to probe them enough. They know that Trump is indefensible, so they make a case that Harris is also bad ( but avoid a comparison of how bad). Then they say that since both candidates are (equally) bad, choosing either would be equally bad and hence they are not morally wrong in choosing Trump.

I'll admit that I voted for Stein in 2016 because I didn't like what Trump was saying and I had heard (but not verified) some nasty rumors about what Hillary was going to do. I honestly didn't know anything about Stein. Never again.

He has talked a few people into not voting for Jill Stein, because, in spite of her stance on Israel, she will only serve to hurt Kamala, and that puts our democracy in jeopardy. With Kamala in the White House, I can safely assume that she will be much better than Donald Trump on the matter.
Yep, just like T*ump was relieved to have RFK drop out because RFK was going to take away votes from him, not Harris. Jane Fonda had a great quote recently saying something to the effect that if you vote Harris, you can continue pushing for a more progressive direction, but if you sit out or vote third party and let the other guy win, those chances for progressive change are erased, possibly permanently (particularly if folks don’t vote blue down ballot to ensure we keep the senate and regain the house).

She is not a serious candidate and she knows it. People who vote for her are doing it so they can have a clear conscience. Her own family knows why she only runs when it's best for the Republican nominee. If she was truly running as an independent candidate for president, she would be attacking Trump just as much as she attacks Harris. But guess what, she only goes after Harris. An interesting segment as I tend to ignore third party candidates. Would it benefit the US if there was a true third party. Probably. But voting for her or any others is a wasted vote. Right now, we are in danger of losing a two party system as the Republicans have vacated the building in favor of MAGA.

Third parties don’t have the capability to have seats in congress or even win the presidential race due to the “electoral college” and their campaigns only mess up even more with the bigger parties making the elections more tight. Unlike european countries where third parties do have a say in government, in the USA they are just a pawn for one party depending on who is on the race. If people who are tired of the GOP and the Democratic party and want to support a third party, the best option is to abolish the electoral college as its an obsolete mechanism to win by strategy and not by popular vote like many countries in the world. Bush and Trump won the presidency due to the electoral college but lost the popular vote and shows the ISA needs to update their electoral system to make it fair and also let third parties participate while also helping diversify the candidates for presidency, but as for now, third parties do more damage to America and while the Electoral College is still valid, their presidential candidates should dismiss from the race to avoid a situation like 2016.
