Another beauty ! Missed you last night but I new the video was there for my Saturday morning cup of coffee . A few years back I rebuilt a 68 428 CJ out of a dark green convertible Shelby . I really enjoy the variety of the Brother's Collection . All of these muscle cars are wonderful . Nowhere but in America will you find these great classics .
The 428 CJ was a torque monster with great street manners due to a hydraulic cam. But Ford should've offered the solid lifter R-Code 427 Side Oiler as an option in these cars and base model Mustangs and GT's for serious drag racers. I think the only car you could get a 427 in was a Mercury Cougar GT-E in early 1968. But it was a 390hp 427 with a hydraulic cam. Then mid year the 428 CJ replaced the 427 as the base engine in the GT-E
What a beaut! Yes I agree with having the top down . Kevin needs to be able to drive these cars . Thus he can give a firsthand opinion on how they feel when driven . Right Kevin?
Nor this one: ruclips.net/video/nm3mP0bMVms/видео.html What's on this blue car are what were called 'slapper bars' back in the day. Or maybe still. Earlier Shelbys (or some of them at least) did have traction bars, the "Traction Master" type as I recall Judging from the number of convertibles that don't have traction bars I don't think there was any legal requirement for them
I'm certainly no expert, but I don't recall seeing them on any of the other Mustang videos. I was thinking that they certainly don't help the looks of the car, and I can't see how they would help with chassis flex; it seems that some cross bracing of some sort would be better for that.
I think those had a fake roll bar (possibly real), or was it just fake on convertible Broncos? Maxwell Smart (Don Adams) of the TV show "Get Smart" drove one, once they finally dumped the Sunbeam.
Always look forward to Friday afternoon's Muscle Car of the Week. Thanks.
I want that car. So sweet
Favorite youtube channel, bringing all the good memories back from the days of cruising main Street
Yes sir, for me it was Landis ave.

Hey you'se guys. For the record, in NJ the Ford assembly plant was pronounced Me-TOUCH-en for the city it was located in.
Beautiful.
Thank you! Cheers!
Wild looking traction bars.
Style-wise this is my favorite Mustang ever made. But I prefer a fastback. Engine-wise a 69-70 BOSS 429 is my favorite Stang
Besides the cool GT500, I enjoyed the brief glimpse of the Brothers Collection workshop.
Favorite Mustang
Got a ride in one once back in 70. Great machine!
You bet, I love too spend the day with this awesome GT500KR
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A 68 gt500 KR convertible and you guys didn't put the top down? If I owned that car the top would be down at all times.
A P It might be because of the split glass that was integrated into the top itself.
Love the color. 69'-70' Machs and Boss still My fave Stang.
Silver-Blue is extremely rare on a Shelby.
Absolutely LOVE the KR. It did you Guys had uploading problems ?
Is that a '67 Z28 on the lift? Have you guys considered doing a video tour of the shop where these cars are restored and maintained?
This one, maybe?

Yeah, that's probably it. I didn't remember that one.
What a beaut! Yes I agree with having the top down . Kevin needs to be able to drive these cars . Thus he can give a firsthand opinion on how they feel when driven . Right Kevin?
If I had a car like this the only person that would drive it would be me.
Damn, that car sits high. As much as I love the factory original look, I'd be very tempted to get it closer to the ground.
Yeah, I feel the same way.
I agree. Not much, maybe just an inch or two, definitely not with the tires almost touching the fenders like some people tend to do.
Don't get me wrong, I love everything about this car, but i'm thinking it would be a little better lowered just a wee bit.
I thought the same thing.
Technically no, not the first, there are 6 documented 1966 gt350 convertibles
Nice!
What no top town and roll bar description?
So many of these cars were autos, but it's easy to understand when you see one in person the type of money people spent on these in 68'.
Oh. , you got good stuff going on!
Were the traction bars factory?
Red 13 Yes they were factory. Required by law to strengthen the chassis. Because convertibles flex like crazy
How come this one don't have any???

Darrell Kidd If you look at the mustangs that didn’t have those, you will most likely see some waves in the rear quarter panels.
Do a '71 Mustang Boss 351
JSP they already Did
@@SteveRood1 no they didn't. They did a 71 Mach 1 with a 429 BB.
JSP oh No, they did. They talked to several friends from me about the Boss 351. Friend of mine, Rick Ybarra wrote a book about it.
JSP see. They did an episode about the Boss 351.

Johnnyc drums
They were real. Kind of oval shaped rather than round as I remember.
Great vehicle convertibles are the best. This is a bad vehicle!!!!!!
I love love love this channel ❤️❤️❤️ IMHO the most beautiful Shelby combination and the best of both worlds!
