@@justsomeguywatching The general plat discount is I think 15% but ultimately it is going to be based on your level of play. I got this one for $500 off a night I think. So $1000 vs $1500.
Couldn't find you. Oh well. Question is this. We liked the Skylofts but didn't feel the pool experience matched the room experience. Does that make sense? We didn't check out the adult only area so perhaps that was a mistake. Regardless, any thoughts on where the pool experience is Skyloft-like as well as the room? We've stayed at Aria Sky Suites and Wynn Tower Suites FYI. Thx!
@@BunnyHeartMads So, happily I've stayed in all those places and used all of those pools except for Cosmo. Sorry. That said, my favorite pool is Wynn's topless one (Sunset) followed by Aria Sky Suites, Caesars and then Bellagio. Cosmo has two pools. Marquee which is the more youthful, party pool and Chelsea. I'm big on pool time as well so this is important for me. One plus of Cosmo is the pool is on the roof so good views. The bad thing is wind can be a factor. The Cosmo Lanai Suites are actually interesting to me if I wanted to spend a ton of time at the pool since they have an outdoor area with hot tub and I think still access to the Chelsea pool deck. Check with the hotel re this though. Prices are very affordable, starting at $700 a night, so cheaper than the Pents. Downside is no real view, but you get the wow factor. Really, it's a trial and error thing. Maybe spend one or two nights at a new place if you are on a longer trip to try it out. That's what this trip was about. If it helps, we enjoyed Cosmo more than Aria, though the suite was just nicer.
I asked about it in January of 2020. Unfortunately it wasn't available that night. That's really the issue if you don't book something direct but try to upgrade at check in. That's the only reason I got this penthouse, I paid rack. But when I ever choose to stay at Paris again, I'll be sure to ask.
@@chasejoseph31 So did I. Honestly, it is all about where you are in the hotel. We were high up in the Chelsea Tower facing away from the club so no noise. If you are facing Marquee, you'll have a different experience. Same goes for Wynn even. Noise was why we didn't pick a Bungalow Suite despite it having an outdoor hot tub. Beds and pillows were awesome. I didn't need to use the pillow I bring with me when traveling as an example. That pillow, I purchased from Skylofts years ago.
All that and a little balcony? I gotta say the wrap around terrace suite is a must. Thanks for the video!
Not all Pents have them. This one was technically classed as a no balcony Penthouse. The balcony ones run the full length of the suite.
This is a beautiful suite! Got to love this one!
Glad that you got to enjoy it.
🏆
I'm sure you will too one day. Really felt like a home actually. If it had a kitchen and a washer dryer we would love to live there.
thanks so much for the tour! the pent house is beautiful!
It is a beautiful suite, thank you for showing it.
Thank you for watching.
Did you get this suite with dollars or status?
I paid for it but got a discount thanks to being Platinum.
@@PKPhoenix83 can you elaborate on the platinum discount?

Your videos are great, thanks! I am having trouble narrowing down my options. Is there a travel agent you would recommend? Thx!
Thank you! Travel agents with regards to Vegas generally suck. Tell me what you want and I'll try to help as best I can with advice.
@@PKPhoenix83 That's very nice, thank you! Could I DM you on Instagram or something? Thanks again!
@@BunnyHeartMads Sure. I'm realplatinumpaul on there. Only created an account like two weeks ago and still haven't done anything with it lol.

When are you able to book suites or even rooms with MGM Resorts there?
Not sure. Guessing when Identity is folded into MGM Rewards, so probably close to the end of the year.

Nice Speedmaster cameo.
Thanks! Love a classic and space.

Okay, thanks! Would you say this penthouse is quite/ comfortable bed? I've stayed away from Cosmo for those fears.
