People devoted to hospitality would love to hear a review like this. Oh, and thanks for the tip. From now on, I shall say "How may I assist you?" :P Too bad I cannot work in such places because of my fear of heights.
21:08, i saw the grand hyatt hotel that I stayed at back in 2012. not just the east and west towers were not completed that time, quite a few buildings on this scene were also under construction. Look at now , a stunning CBD just stands there. it's pretty amazing how fast the city development is
Really rare to see such a thorough review of this hotel! Excellent job and quality! While I would've loved to see the elevator footage, it's equally rare enough just to find reviews about this place. Maybe can visit someday! Looks like you had a wonderful time.
If you're arriving internationally, yes. If you're coming from another city, it depends on where and when. if you're coming from a "high risk" city, they might do that.
Wishful thinking. There is no homeless street people in Guangzhou for sure. Some of Mao's ideas to make China strong and RICH is still very much alive. Example: Dirt poor China sent troops to fight in the Korean war and WIN. Recent movie about Chinese soldiers in Korean War is huge number-1 box office hit in China. The teachings are NOT forgotten. "Totally"? No way. Mao was from a different era though. Labels doesn't mean much when describing China because it is still evolving. China is definitely not a "communist" country. It is certainly socialistic with capitalistic elements. Chinese people enjoy all the freedom to stay in the Rosewood Hotel if they make enough money.

tower hotels are not my favorite either, but resorts near the beach are quite charming. Thank you for watching.

18:17 Looks like you had a lovely meal. The food looks great. It was interesting to see Eastern European food in China.
Love bgm, heard that before
I stayed there last year, very luxurious
Oh but I had a corner room, the bathroom had a massive window and the bath was standalone
Actually the Ritz next door has much larger rooms. But I guess that tower is also much shorter.
I've stayed at the Ritz... a little more traditional in the decor, but amazingly comfortable. I love Ritz-Carlton.
Do you still have to quarantine when you enter Guangzhou ?

9:03 maybe that is a stamper, your name is engraved the bottom in an ancient font of 小篆 if you are a premium frequent customer of the hotel group.
