nice video, liked. Our Gen3 just died and a new motherboard just arrived. It is a bit disappointing that how it failed after the warranty expired. I had 20 thinkpads before, and this is the first one that failed so badly.
Great video. Do you/or someone maybe know/remember if there is a extra port for the 4-5G router? The router is optional and some have them. But i do not know the connection. if there is some port of the router, what type of port is it? I am hoping for a nvme type of port because i am looking for ways to use an egpu connected by the extra nvme modem port if there is one? Cheers!
great video, can u help me, my thinkpad yoga gen 6 has a problem, i think magnet lid, when i close the lid my laptop not going to sleep, so i grab the magnet lying around in my home, i touch it with my LCD ( near camera) my laptop sleep. but when i close the lid my laptop not in sleep mode, do you have suggestion what i have to do?

Try to check the lid sensor. 👍😉

@zeinska9129 it is located on the front edge under the battery. To have access, you need to open the laptop. 👍
Can you replace the mobo to upgrade ram and processor in the same generation? If so, do you need any additional drivers etc?
