But the thing is what if the person stealing it is another fur that have fursuit envy that they go through all means necessary to put on a fursuit. I mean I personally wouldn't dream of stealing one. Knowing that now I have a pre made suit. But what if someone steals my umbreon out of my car or hotel room as his my only suit. I would go mad.
And another thing is sometimes I speak in suit. and when I get Bruzo as suit, I will be speaking a lot more in my normal voice. As is, as an Umbreon, I'm outgoing as a Pokémon. Maybe if you have a suit that is stolen, I will spread awareness in my Bruzo lend a hand video like I did for Marko Barkshark but I most likely do it if I see that report somewhere either in the artist beware on Facebook or FA.
Hello, you can sew a small pocket inside the suit or part and you can install a small GPS unit with a long lasting battery. I have done this to help locate said suit if it was ever stolen. However on the flip side of this situation preventative measures need to be taken. DON'T leave it in your car unless someone you TRUST is there(not somebody that you just met at a meet or con even if they are really friendly) and if you do invite someone into a hotel room at a con just keep one eye them.

They are a part of me. An extension of me and my personality... They are me and the thought of them getting taken from me. I have no words. I can't imagine.

I think it really needs to be understood that most suits were NOT stolen for the suit themselves. People are stealing the things in cars, in general. Duffel bags, luggage, totes, etc, commonly contain valuable objects such as computers or camera equipment. They aren't expecting an animal suit in there. Most stolen suits are assumed thrown away. If a suit was stolen from inside the actual con space, from a hotel room, or even from a maker's studio (in which a normal thief would grab all of the equipment and tools, not the fur and suits), that's another matter entirely. Best example of this: a purple giraffe suit was stolen from a car. The suit was, miraculously, found mostly intact, by a homeless women, who found it in a storm drain. The suit was taken for its tote, and the suit, deemed worthless by the thief, was dumped. How can you avoid this? Don't leave suits in cars unattended. Keep your stuff with you. If you do leave it because you have to, leave them OUT of the container. I've stored suits in my car for temporary amounts of time, but I do not live in an area of high car break ins, and I leave them out. A thief will take my XM, not the fluffy animal head. Alternatively, use a clear tote, so a thief can immediately see the suit, which is not what they are after. This will deter them, but its not foolproof. Leaving it in the trunk will do nothing, really. If they want to get in there, they will. Or they'll just steal the whole car, which is why, especially at any sort of event, you never leave your suit in a car, whatsoever. Thieves work in a very quick grab and go manner, so discouraging them from grabbing your suit is your best bet.

Also a lot of suits are stolen because they will be kept in boxes that look like would have expensive items in them (tech, expensive clothing, jewelry, etc). If the box is in a car and a robber sees it, they may take it. Robbers open the boxes with these suits and don't know what thy are and are don't know the worth and they end up just trashing them
Last con I went to I saw plenty of people leaving their heads on blowing racks in the headless lounge with absolutely no one around at all. Some super ugly but others quite cute.I could have taken one and put it in my backpack and walked right out, the exit wasn't even far away. I'd never be so careless with mine.
see i agree, i see ALOT of people just keaving there suits lying around and they expect it to not be stollen in a busy con. like from there point of view, there thinking "oh hey, a huge wolf costume, i wonder how much i could make if i took that.."
I know this is old but I just saw this I been watching your channel for a while but at 2:50 - 2:55 there was a ghost orb that floated right by you and it was pretty big to just be a speck of dust especially with the way it was colored, love you and your channel btw I just thought I would mention this.
(This does not relate to the video) I have been slowly driving away from the fandom mainly because I don’t know what my friends would think of me.. but I can’t escape this fandom I just love it too much! All the cool art and the fur suits all the creativity is just off the charts now I’m at the point where I don’t care if they find out I’m a furry because it might inspire them to become one too the more furs the better!
It was :3 Some homeless ladies found the suit in a ally and called and returned the suit and collected a nice reward for it. Sadly the suit was missing some pieces. But since been replaced. But that suit is happily back home to his owner

When really he did say that yes, the main suitor of Telephone is the one that created the Dutch Angel Dragon Species. But It's Phoenix Nest made both the suits of Telephone and Sniper and Telephone made Pearl as a suit. Also he stated mistakenly that Pearl as a Dutch Angel Dragon but according to her owner, she is actually an Ice Angel Dragon.
Do you know how much it costs!? That would be a lot of money wasted and if they didn't get stolen they would end up with two of the same fursuits which would be useless!
When i get a fursuit i'm going to get a tracker and put it in the head. That way if someone does try and take it i can get it back. It would also be nice to let friends have access to the tracker so they can find me if i'm fursuiting and if a friend wants to try on the suit i can find them if they go somewhere that i can't see. I think it's $30 for a trackr bravo i might get one of those.

Well, for suits with a value of over 3000 dollars, that is enough to actually get police interest, considering that is grand theft.

The part I think about the most, is that you spend all that money on your suit, and it gets stolen. That's money down the drain
