It seems very complex but as I said in the video, if you ever feel overwhelmed go back to basics, Ice fury into frost shock into lava burst, elemental blast and lightning bolt! I really hope that helps! :) there's a lot of multipliers, to track but that sequence is your bread and butter!
With the wildfire build you can play with Lava totem, but in my opinion you lose too much single target DPS compared to the lightning build (at least in more difficult content) I have linked the wildfire mythic plus build in the description for those that want a playstyle more similar to season 1, with funnel from lava surges and more mobility :)
Yea that makes sense if you already have a decent amount of crit and haste, adding mastery will be a bigger gain then getting say 2% more crit or haste 😊

Just make with gear 31%crt haste 24% and go all in mastery and use rage phial and mastery rune, the highest sim dps🫣
