  • This 1937 cartoon is a takeoff on the popular newsreel series "The March of Time."
    With story by Allen Rose, animation by Harry Love, and music by Joe DeNat, this cartoon, originally released theatrically by Columbia Pictures, was produced by Charles Mintz.

    This has a little of "Modern Times" and a great, outrageous Fox 1930 musical fantasy, "Just Imagine." This was a great cartoon.

    Fred "Astro Boy" Ladd had 18 30s Krazy Kat cartoons redrawn in color for theatrical release in the 70s, but it never got further than that.

    This is so far removed from the source material it may as well not even be called Krazy Kat...

    There was so much predicted for the 21st Century that hasn't come true yet. True, we have small smartphones and can look up so much in computers and cook things quicker in microwaves...but we still don't have picnics on Jupiter or cub-scout trips to the moon.
