I finally found this insert song. This was the song heard when that blasted Miss Minchin banished Sarah out of the boarding school. This song probably captures Sarah's lowest moments.
@@lauren-sq5cd Yeah, Peter was an original character made for the anime adaptation of the book. Probably as a means for the anime to appeal to boys along with girls by having a main male supporting character; or possibly to give the main character of Sarah a love interest as with most of the other World Masterpiece Theater anime series' even though their relationship remained platonic during the series since they were just kids. Although, it was shown that Peter had a massive crush on Sarah throughout the series as despite them coming different social classes, I’d like to think that the two of them ended up together when they’re older, lol.

@@lauren-sq5cd Indeed, I read the book out of curiosity a few years ago after watching the anime adaptation. For what it was, it was a decent book, especially for one that was aimed towards young girls, lol. But in regards to the anime adaptation, I kinda wished that Peter had joined Sarah and Becky on their trip to India as they were like a best friend trio in the series. But I suppose Peter couldn’t leave his family behind who needed him. But after everything Peter had done for Sarah, I think the best compensation would be to allow for Sarah’s hand in marriage to Peter when they’re older since if money was offered to Peter and his family for assisting Sarah, they would have likely refused it out of gratitude for helping Sarah in her time of need. I don’t know if the series established whether Peter attended school, but I could see him working harder in school to become someone on Sarah’s level as I imagine him becoming a lawyer as a means of providing assistance to the impoverished family population of London. As for Sarah, I can see her studying to become a teacher like she said that she wanted to be in the series as a means of providing education for the impoverished families of London who’re unable to afford sending their children to school. In my opinion, it’d be crazy if Sarah and Peter didn’t end up together after everything they went through in the series since if guys like Aladdin, Flynn Rider, and Kristoff can all get with princesses, I don’t see why someone like Peter can do the same as well. I could see them living together in a modest home in London while primarily living off their own wages than to fall on Sarah’s golden parachute of wealth from her guardian. In addition, even as a married couple, I’d imagine that Peter would still refer to Sarah as ‘princess,’ much to her slight chagrin in which she would keep insisting to not call her that just as she had when they were kids of which Peter could reply that she will always be a beautiful princess to him, much to Sarah’s flattery, lol. The way I see it, Peter is the Link to Sarah’s Zelda, 😉.
