Good review . Some extra points : 1. Engine EA211 in skoda has won engine of the year award in Europe 2. This has the same engine from Audi A1 supermini 3. Automatic gearbox is torque converter from Asinin gearbox same as in BMW X1 4. Automatic driving experience is different level ultra sporty
1st service costs only parts like oil filtr, pollen filtr etc No labour charges/ Total 4700/ including interior vacuum, ext.wash.. Service once in a yr or 15k kms whichever first. If the vehicle is too good, don't worry about service cost. Don't expect everything to get free -- owner of Škoda Rapid tsi manual (candywhite) SIMPLY CLEVER !!
My First car was VW POLO and when i planned to buy 2nd car i have an idea to go Other brands and test drived all brand Cars but i felt Drivers Car is VW,SKODA so back again i bought SKODA RAPID.. even at high speed you drive with confidence , Purely Drivers car.

@@vijaygnanaraj1594 Hi brother! It depends on the utility and the price band you have. Obviously Kushaq AT is costlier than Rapid AT. In my opinion, if you are someone who looks for more features, 1.5 lit engine and often drives on a bad road (ground clearance sake) and budget isn’t an issue then Kushaq will be the best option. On the other hand with 1 lit engine if you can sacrifice few features, need more boot space for luggage and often drives on highway or good roads then Rapid would be the best option. I have also done a test drive of Kushaq 1 lit engine, though the power and torque are marginally more than rapid 1 lit engine, I felt it’s not as punchy as Rapid’s engine. May be because of the platform it is built. With respect to right and handling I would definitely suggest Rapid over Kushaq. Again the reason is straight forward, you will never get the driving dynamics of Sedan in a SUV😃 Finally, if you don’t have any budget constraints, my strong recommendation would be to go with 1.5 lit evo engine! That’s an absolute driver’s delight with DSG gear box. 🔥 Most probably my next update would be that but with a manual gearbox. 🙂

Very true that Yaris and Rapid were real contenders. 👌. If one wants Turbo then Rapid else Yaris. Both are underrated cars. Now no Yaris in market. Indians want wireless charger, sun roof, lights everywhere. Not dynamics I'm using aftermarket TPMS which are pretty reliable.
True brother! Yaris is a best suit for business class people who wants to travel in the rear seat. Engine wasn’t very punchy but a solid car. Unfortunately didn’t do well and discontinued.

@@deenaaravind1 Yes brother. Obviously this is more elegant. As per my opinion, service cost would be almost same for both the cars as they share most of the components. Also ŠKODA has improved their network and touch points in recent times. So after sales service is no more a concern. Atleast I have never faced any issues in particular. With respect to resale value, I don’t have much idea and i don’t worry about that when I’m buying a car to use atleast for 10 years. Also note that you don’t get this android unit infotainment in vento and also boot space is little higher in vento which compromises rear seat leg room a bit. Whereas in Rapid it is well proportionated though it is just a marginal difference. Hope this helps.

Headlight coverage is reasonably good according to me. I have never faced any difficulty until now. There are better upgrades available in ŠKODA itself if you can spend more.

Sedan gives more driving comfort and stability in long high way drives where SUVs give good ground clearance which lacks in Sedan. Skoda has almost discontinued Rapid. When enquiried to showroom they are selling only cars available in their yards, which is only 1 variant and 1 color. So not much options available
I prefer 4th gen over 5th gen in terms of driving dynamics and the vehicle is feels planted compared to 5th gen. But you have to sacrifice lot features and new design in 5th gen.

More than cylinder count, the beauty of this engine is TSI (Turbo stratified injection). Engine is purely flexible for power and mileage based on your driving style. I have been using this engine for last 1 year and no complaints until now. Life for long years is too early to comment on. But in my opinion, this engine will set a benchmark. Let’s hope for the best😃

For 1.0 TSI pls refer my reply to the comment above. Ground clearance is good and more than enough for Indian roads. I have not faced any issues until now. If the car is fully loaded, you have to be little careful on sharp bumps and deep potholes. However that’s for any sedan car.

16 inch alloy wheels.. ground clearance is around 170cms u guess. Both are very much adequate for our road conditions.

For 1.0 TSI pls refer my reply to the comment above. Ground clearance is good and more than enough for Indian roads. I have not faced any issues until now. If the car is fully loaded, you have to be little careful on sharp bumps and deep potholes. However that’s for any sedan car.
