Great report of not only the decline of education in OKC, but the system as a whole, in our country. Schools used to be community areas, and now that we can't trust our citizens, they have become as militarized as the rest of our "government".
If I could give this 1000 thumbs up, I would. 👍👍👍 why on earth would they have backed out on that development? I might have just decided to be in the market for one of the surplus schools. Something small though like lone-star elementary.
What is going on with old Classen high school that building is huge. I had to draw it and it was just over a mile around the exterior and three stories high. Is it totally unused now?
@@AbandonedAtlasFoundation Oh dang. Thank you for the heads up. Saved us a trip to explore. We been in dire need of exploring somewhere but have had bad luck trying to find a place that isn't going to land us in legal trouble. I wish to do some photography.

Thank you, we are hopeful to see if we can get a developer to catch their eye. This building should not be demolished.

The demolition has been halted!! OKCPS said they will let me know when it is open for RFP. Exciting!!

This is horrible. This building could have been transformed into apartments or a community center.
It’s still could be, it has not been demolished yet!
Are you able to urban explore here?
No, unfortunately not.
@@AbandonedAtlasFoundation May I ask why? the website doesn't say it's protected.
@@Murky_Mires because it is all boarded up now and it’s still privately owned by OKCPS
