Honestly, the writers kept dunking on Leshawna over and over again for no reason. She already got robbed the previous season and now they're recycling old mess to make her look like a villain again, but Duncan can bully Harold and it be okay with everyone.
*Bro I swear the writers would use Leshawna as an excuse to be anti-black! She was the sweetest person in Season 1 and then they boil her down to be this rude ratchet fake stereotyped black girl like wtf???*
*This is also the main reason why I hate TDA too bc all of the cast act so out of character this season. . .*

@@RitsuSakuma69 yeah this show has a problem with making their characters actions and personalities like they should be, and they'll just change for example literally like you said, and i mentioned another character a couple of days ago so yeah this show did do that and i didn't really notice until watching someone else react to it i just liked the beef on the show as a kid
Sometimes when it feels too obvious a certain character will be eliminated they pull a bait and switch

@@Bucketnetta I'm gonna have to agree on that, plus it's not even that difficult for them to get along, they just need the right setting. The unfortunate part is that they both will try to betray each other cuz they both know the other will try to do the same.
And then they completely forgot it in S3. World tour is way overrated man.

Beth is actually pretty sneaky and underhanded. Swiping Courtney's PDA to message her bf and putting Leshawna on blast for crossing her? That's pretty Heather like behavior of her. Also they all talk smack about eachother behind their backs, this is just one time it was called out on.
She’s been like that the entire season, especially when she called Lindsay a tanorexic just for calling her a copycat
Beth probably has the best social game tbh. She is so slick with it even us viewers don't notice.

@@shiykyk7538 I like Beth tbh, she has decent competence and putting on a two face is exactly what you need for a game like this where social game is very important. Sure it's snake behavior but that's just how shows like these go. Although I liked her more when I watched this as a child, nowadays I'm a Heather stan highkey lol

I was very happy to find out that she won when this show when it aired on my TV even though the other person won in my country, kind of odd but I preferred it anyways.

The episodes after this are good challenges, but it's where they royally F up the elimination order, starting at episode 19. 😭
One of them it's understandable cause one of the va have either health or family issue at the time

I’d say it started at Ep21, that elimination and the “twist” at the beginning completely ruined the order, we ended up with a bad final two because of it when the perfect one was RIGHT THERE.
I think episodes 13-20 of Action are the best of the season (minus the Aftermath episode) but 21 completely screwed it up.
This is a not so hottake but actions merge is one of the best merges I've seen. It was an enjoyable watch until it wasn't but it has both its ups and downs while Justin was the best character next to Lindsay.

I like to think a big reason why Chris McLean is more for the rules this time around, is because it's a season about acting, while he actually is an actor himself.

Also makes sense to me while he's just been more, Active when it comes to challenges and hosting, it just seems like he is having more fun hosting this season because of all the movie inspired stuff.
I agree. Anything goes as long as it fits the movie/Script. Duncan usually is allowed to use his various tools (Lighter, Knife, Spray paint, etc.) Because it fits with most modern movies, but those things aren't around in Pre historic times so it ruins the movies integrity.
I would argue that Duncan and Courtney never actually got together. She was voted off hours after their first kiss and Duncan didnt get to the casa da losers till the 3rd last episode. Courtney also kept denying she liked him even during the end of island (which i feel like you wouldnt do if you were offical with someone)

I seriously don't understand why people say this season is better than world tour, they freaking dumped on Leshawna's character, should've kept Gwen around longer, why the did they eliminate her so early, why did they ruin Trent's character and threw away his chill vibes, and yeah why did they eliminate Heather that episode

For “fans” of the show I’ve never seen comment sections with so much whining and complaining lmao. And we aren’t even at the season people consider bad yet. Idk about everyone else but I enjoy the sports episode. It proves that Duncan and Harold were able to come together and are more than superficial sheep. They were willing to give Leshawna another chance after she apologized to everyone instead of kicking her off.

I don’t get why so many reactors start 6TEEN and then stop it. Proves most of them are only in it for views tbh. The only person I’ve seen stick with it so far is Kemet Black.

scoot is like the only person i know who rates action the highest. Almost everyone says the best season is either island or world tour
Honestly Action is probably the 3rd most entertaining season of Total Drama for me (sorry World Tour, but I'm just sick of endless relationship drama). But from a writing standpoint, yeah it's pretty bad. A lot better than TDAS, TDPI, and TDI2024, but still bad.
Action is the 3rd best season in the franchise. Nothing beats Island and World Tour
