Get you the leake defender fuel caps. I just got them for my KW T660 because the fuel was leaking out bad. It turned out it was the tank threads them selves. The kit is little expensive. The piece of mind you get though is priceless. No fuel leaking as your driving down the road. Highly recommended. And it's better then replacing the the whole tank.
I've said it before and i'll say a thousand more times, beautiful equipment and a properly run company, nothing like cat power and reliability. Awesome video great looking family god bless.
I have an old 1970 Kenworth. No air ride front end. No low visor. No A/C. No power steering. And a 350 Detroit. Has Neway air ride on the drives. Still makes the same money as all the fancy trucks.

I have only $40,000 saved but I’m heavily considering getting a pre 2000 W900 and a 53’ reefer, I’m just not sure if it’s smart in this economy.

If you drive for a good company and they take good care of you then stick with them!!! There are a lot of headaches and sleepless nights with owning... the nice thing with just driving is you can go home at the end of the week and be headache free!!! no services, tire changes or last minute repair.... just my 2 cents!!!!

I'm down here in Maryland. I've been around the block a few times and have been thinking about expanding. I mean really expanding. Your business model of purchasing the older trucks and having your own repair and restoration facility is beginning to grow on me. The pre-emissions engines just run better, period. I hear some guys say it's hit or miss with the NEWER lemons, but if you get stuck with one it can be nothing but trouble. Plus, the industry is in need of facilities that can hire and support new mechanics, etc.. If you're running a small fleet regionally, it definitely seems to be the way to go. #Hollywood US DOT 366063 .
Older trucks do require a lil more maintenance ..... I do have some new emission trucks in the fleet and I will always keep a few in ..... but Preemision is the way to go !!

You have some sweet gear guys and glad ya post and share. I am into nice work trucks and ya have some good ones. Would an anti-roll bar on the front help the learn into corners post the air bag conversion?
The benefit is if your going into a lot of corners you can always bump the pressure up to keep it from leaning !!
