The Cranberries, I truely hope she knew how much her music help teenagers during the 90s. I Can't be With You and Ridiculous Thoughts just take you to a different level of musical plane.
Yes, great! A part 3 would be wonderful... I vote for Just My Imagination, Time is ticking out, never grow old and daffodil lament (these last two being oficial video releases by the band after her passing, so touching and artistic). Please...
This reaction was the Highlight of my Halloween, thank you. Especially for reacting to a part 2 and for choosing 3 out of the 4 songs for the reaction that I requested I really appreciate that I loved this reaction and was bopping my head along with you smiling watching you enjoy and appreciate and break down the meanings of each song from your interpretation. Would it be too much to ask for a part 3 😂
I can't be with you: this song, whose lyrics talk about being away from a loved one and about the desire to grow up, start a family etc. Animal Instinct: Dolores O'Riordan confessed that the song referred to the "love you feel when you carry a baby, when you give birth and when you become a father or mother. It's animal instinct, a protective feeling you've never felt before. I am a different person than I was before. Women are really extraordinary creatures, because we can give birth, our bodies do something really amazing, and we can feed ourselves with our own bodies. It's a pretty cool thing and it changes you, it makes you more confident and happy, it makes you more grateful." Salvation: Paradigm of the song that horrifies critics for its lyrics that are as captivating as they are obvious against drugs ("don't do it because it's not what it seems", "tie your kids onto their beds, clean their heads"), ' Salvation' had at least one iconic refrain: "Saving yourself is free." The drugs, no. The song was quite a rarity for them thanks to its hectic punk rhythm, accompanied on a bridge by unexpected ska-type winds. Going at full speed in its brief 2 minutes 20 seconds, it used to be the wildest moment of his live performances and is also part of history for its video directed by Olivier Dahan, who would later direct the essential 'La vie en rose' , about the life of Edith Piaf. Ridiculous thoughts: The singer, who suffered from bipolar disorder, hinted at her suffering in songs like "Ridiculous Thoughts", where she sang: "I feel alright and I cry so hard" The lyrics of this song are a discharge of emotions against the media harassment that Dolores suffered. It was mentioned that she was a drug addict, alcoholic, violent and lesbian because fame had upset her, but the problem really lay in her mental health, which was the consequence of repeated abuse in her childhood and toxic relationships in her adolescence. 《You're gonna have to hold on to me!》 Close the song with this phrase.
Try out one of the biggest uk bands of the ‘70’s…..Slade, Cum on feel the Noize, Far Far Away and How does it feel…..or with Xmas approaching maybe their hit which still enters the chart 49yr later…Merry Xmas Everybody
These songs always remind me of sad class trips when I would listen to the Cranberries on the bus. Oh and did you recognize Mr. Frodo in the Ridiculous Thoughts video?
I humbly ask you to react to the first half of Mew's - ...and the Glass Handed Kites. This is from Circuitry of the Wolf to The Zookeeper's Boy on that album. You will understand why it needs to be reacted to in this way when you react to it. All the songs go together is a song suite that is an unique prog dream-pop thing that I believe you will enjoy.
Ridiculous Thoughts was my favourite song for so many years. It's beautiful.
second and third songs are my favorites of all. thanks for reacting to these gems. Not many ppl know them

I would suggest for the episode 3 cranberries:
Promises, free to decide, just my imagination, this is the day
ahhhhhh my dearest Dolores O'Riordan, gone way too soon. crushed hard on her for a very very long time!
Check out Free to Decide. It gets overlooked a lot. Great song.
Thanks for this one. Check out "Analyse" (2001), "Stars" (2002), "Tomorrow" (2012), please.
Great songs, thanks!
Thanks for watching!
