so much of the nuance of the instrumentals gets lost of me because i get so caught up in the vocal performances so i adore that we get to hear it isolated like this. i hadnt even noticed the soft music box or last half of the song's ominous drone. very pog
The song is amazing with the vocals, but holy cow. Without them, it sounds like something you might hear during a boss fight in a game, and that’s really neat
You know, without the ominous lyrics and context, a lot of this song has a very 'magical dream' sort of feel to it mixed with it feeling like a dance song at times. I find that really interesting! Perhaps I am reading too much into things, but maybe that could be a way to look at who Moon /can/ be at his best (and not corrupted by the virus). Playful, fun, theatrical, kind of mysterious, taking kids of a fun dreamworld magic adventure before they go to sleep. Either way, I really like this!
