I think people forget Nicho is only in his 3rd year at halfback. He possibly might not reach his peak until 29-30
Nicho seems like a very good bloke and a great player on his day. But something has gotta be said for how he plays in big games and how he handles big moments. He’s got plenty of time to work on that tho

He is 27 years old. Not mentally tough enough for his age.
He’s performed in all of the sharks finals games. He played an average game in origin at halfback (many great players before him have)
He’s had plenty of clutch moments

Trindall is a crappie player he'll be the reason shark won't go further than the 1st week of the final at best 2nd week, can't believe they let go of Metcalf and kept Trindall, Atkinson better suited Sharkies style than Trindall

People's opinions change like the wind. Up until round 11 people were saying he must be picked as halfback for NSW.

When it went down to the kick to tie it - it brought me back to the Sharks vs Warriors game last year when he missed the kick to take it to Golden point! Not sure what his processes are but he misses the pressure goals the ones you need to get over.
Forward pass led to the try anyway.... Can't blame Nicho for missing it 🤣🤣
As a Sharks fan I thought we should’ve had Atkinson and Nicho is the halves. Just like Atkinson better
Trindall offers much more. If anything Ako is better than Nicho ATM. But don’t expect the edge to get the ball with Ako.

Nicho Hynes is a big body and don't have much leg speed. His ball kicking game is pretty average. I think he would be more suited at wearing 6 jumper (five-eight) and let the Halfback and most kicking duties to Atkinson or Trindal. They also have speed and can attack the defensive line like most Halfbacks do.
Overall Really disappointing performance by Sharks. Hamiso and Bostock tries just sums up their poor defensive efforts.🤦
Anyway, well done Dolphins for a 100% (2/2) winning record against the Sharkies in their home turf so far.👏

@@flickyt4709@flickyt4709 I agree, but to be honest, there are at least 6 tries (being generous to the low side) where he has been in tackles and failed to make a tackle that led to a try. It's not good.
Because he's too busy being the man! I'd have Kennedy as my first choice Blues fullback (yes, Over Edwards and definitely over Tedesco)
Why is everyone bagging out the sharks! We still came back from 22 0 and although we didn't win, that's not our whole season over. And nicho and cam are very good players too, it was one kick!

Dolphins got away with 3 blatantly forward passes, one in the lead up to a try. They scored another try off the back of 2 very questionable penalties. Don't worry about the one decision that went the Sharks way.
@johnburke6332 yes, too many forward passes are being let go, but the bunker wants super slow, multiple angles and repeat viewings on every other try scored!
Serious questions need to be asked about Nicho as 7. His game management and ability to handle big moments and pressure is poor. Plenty time to learn but how long can the sharks be patient for? Think they need to move him to 6 or fullback where he has less responsibility and can play with that flair he is famous for
Cam Mcinnes and Nicho Hynes should not be in consideration for Origin 2
This bloke can't coach... been hearing for years about his focus on defence ... absolute garbage...sharks have so many cracks and never improve. They get away with it regular season but will be out back to back losses in finals again.

The penalty count was even. Sharks made 11 errors and I don't even think the dolphins got a single 6 again? Could be wrong but if you think this was the refs doing you're off ya bloody rocka mate 😂
@@Mondiosothe Dolphins got away with 3 blatantly forward passes, 1 in the lead up to a try. They scored another on the back of 2 very questionable penalties and pay attention to how many times Sharks get awarded 6 agains or penalties on the first tackle when their opposition will usually get them near or on their last tackle. It's a massive advantage that the referee will give to one team, then be able to let it disappear in the statistics when people see EQUAL PENALTIES recorded.
@johnburke6332 I watched the majority of the game mate I probably missed about 10 minutes after half time that's it. Dolphins just looked the better side from the kick off. Sharks let the dolphins get the jump on em!
