Let me respond to the title… NOT better than the JCW. JCW has “less” HP and torque but also has 800 lbs less weight. That translates to 1 full second faster to 60mph (C&D tested 4.4 s), a top speed of 150mph vs EV’s 112mph and, oh yeah, JCW has roughly 450 mile range on the highway independent of weather, hills, speed, etc…. Run the JCW down to the fumes - gas it back to 100% in 5 minutes and get back on the road 👈🏾 an impossibility with the Mini EV. That means the EV is far, far, ridiculously beneath the JCW.
FYI more than just Europe uses metric measurements. RUclips goes all around the world.
