Yes they were really one of a kind, but the music dropped a level when they dropped DJ U Neek from making their music, cause their songs after Art Of War went a bit on the softer side. Just my opinion. Dj U-neek was the unsung hero for putting together those samples for them.
This is my #1 Bone song of all time. Love that intro to the song. My friends and I used to listen to this while hanging out in the cold wintertime. Just fits the season.
My FAVORITE Bone Thugs song ever. I'm 32. I've been listening since '96 when I was in the 5th grade. I heard "Tha Crossroads" and was immediately hooked. Up until that point I hadn't really taken interest in music. I'll never forget..my grandfather came over to watch me and my sister one night while my parents went somewhere. I had him take me to Wal-Mart that evening to look for their music. I only knew of "Tha Crosroads" so I found the tape (yes, the casette tape lol) that had it on there which of course was E.1999 ETERNAL. As soon as we got back home I popped that tape in and listened to it from front to back entirely straight through. I was mesmerized. I had no clue what they were saying or talking about most of the time but I didn't care because it sounded so amazing. I LOVED it. My best friend loved it too and we absolutley wore that tape out. Being from Wal-Mart, it was the edited version but my friend was able to score the parental advisory version from his cousin a month or two later which had a few songs on it that weren't on the edited version so you can imagine the excitement of hearing some new stuff. Anyways, that was my first experience with Bone Thugs music and what got me hooked. Watching your Bone Thugs reaction videos brings back so many memories and your reactions remind me so much of how I reacted when I first started listening. Thanks for making these videos man, I really enjoy them. In my opinion Bone Thugs are the greatest to ever do it whether it's solo, group, whatever...nobody even comes close ✌✌ ✌
Its such a beautiful song, it gives you chills So unique: Fast flow, Slow piano instrumental Each bone intertwined with the next member Various voices and layered harmony on the hook Perfect song
I think a couple of them Bone boys have mentioned wanting to do another cypher so there could be a 25th year anniversary cypher coming in 2019 if it really is gonna be year of the Bone
You were talking about the name "Bone Thugs N Harmony" fitting them so well....They started off as "BONE Enterprise". They met Eazy-E, and a song of theirs was called, "Thugs N Harmony". Eazy loved the name of that so much, he suggested it as their group name "Bone Thugs N Harmony". They resisted to it at first, then grew to like it
Who ever thinks bone stole ANYONEs style which is NOT true, let them hear this song. There is NOT SONG OUT THERE that is anything like this song. IMO the most unique rap style and most unique SINGING. This song (though not their most famous) is like a newly discovered type of music. This track is from another planet.
Yes!! I kept this on REPEAT ♥ Awesome reaction. I love EVERYTHING from Bone Thugs. You'd enjoy their videos more, that way you can visually see each one of their style of rap, their swag, etc
Their Biggest Hit .. Member when the Music Video was #1 on BET back in the day .. & in the clubs or parties the DJ's always played Blackstreet - "Don't Leave Me" before or After .. Great Memories!!!!
This is my fav Bone song I think it’s even better than Tha Crossroads and deserved more recognition. If you love this song you another great song to compare to this is “Shoot Em Up” which was on the Great White Hype soundtrack.
Krayzie, Bizzy, Layzie, Wish and Flesh are the 5 members, I've been listening to them and a big fan since 94, and I'm still learning things about them and hearing music I've never heard before, my favorite group of all time!!!
Every one of your videos makes me feel like I found bone for the first again... Even if you ever got sick of the lyrics to this track the beat still gets you. 1st of the month is the same way. Beats are on another level.
Man, I love all your reactions to these Bone songs. I'm happy that a young Man like yourself is opening his mind up to Classic Hip Hop, and Bone is in my humble opinion, the Greatest Hip Hop group of all time. I appreciate all your time, attention, and input for these songs. If I may suggest a few more..........."No Surrender", "Determination", and a rare solo song by Krayzie Bone, called "Clash of the Titans".........that one will blow your mind.
Angelo Pacheco N.W.A is up there but junior mafia and the rest you mentioned are great and have there place but they don’t come close to Bone thugs~n~harmony
@@mrpitlol6930 NWA and Bone probably on the same level, but Westside Connection was just an all star rap group, dont really have any memorable music and does not really have many memorable songs. Oh yea when you said Thugs n Harmony that reminded me they had an early, early song (never released) with that title "Thugs n Harmony" and is what Eazy-E wanted their name to be when he signed them to Ruthless, but Bone was adamant about being BONE and so they put the two together and went from B.O.N.E. Enterpri$e to Bone Thugs n Harmony.
Did You ever get a chance to watch "Set It Off" yet! You'll have even more appreciation for the song after watching. I remember when Bone came out in '94. They were my favorite group all throughout high school. Also check out their song "Eternal." Glad you are checking out the classics. There will never be another hip hop golden age. Glad I was apart of that generation.

Their beats use type sounds involving kundalini giving you a euphoric feeling resulting in what we use to call good vibe music, while their rapping while harmonizing amplifies the effect. All of this resonates with you, Something todays music lack.

Not only this one of their best but it samples Force M.D's Tender Love. You have to watch that video after having this version in your head its crazy how much its flipped
A little late here but there’s 5 members of Bone. Krayzie, Layzie, Bizzy, Wish, & Flesh. Most songs you’ll hear of Bone don’t have Flesh on the tracks because he didn’t sign to Ruthless Records like the other 4 did. (He also happens to be Layzie’s older brother.) Plus he was in & out of jail/prison. And to mention in some of Bones music videos you won’t see Bizzy in them because he separated himself from the group for financial reasons. He felt they weren’t getting paid as much as they should from their record label. So he was pissed and stayed away. Something like that.
