Researchers recently unearthed a bronze age pyramid, more than 4,000 years old, at the Kyrykungir monumental complex in Kazakhstan. It's a steppe pyramid and is hexagonal. This is an unusual find for the Eurasian steppe and its design was described as sophisticated. Other artifacts like jewelry and ceramics have been found and images of horses and camels were etched into the exposed stone. It's only been partially excavated and is said to contain 8 rows of stone. It's suggested that the civilization who built this pyramid were a horse cult, or those who worshipped horses. No details on its height and unfortunately for now, very few images to give us a good look. Excavations continue, so hopefully more images and information will surface.
