Keith playing my favourite Outbreak character, David! I really like the Outbreak games but I forgot how difficult they were. Thank you for showcasing this!
Maybe my brain is just superimposing the holiday on its observations, but for some reason I really like your "Footage Lost" tag, it fits right in with Resident Evil imo!
Capcom: no one liked outbreak, we should keep making these gimmicky niche games instead Internet: *created entire system to keep outbreak alive and active today* Capcop: ...nah outbrEAk will definitely fail.😅
Outbreak is so unique in it's premise. Unique characters in a zombie/monster outbreak. Different levels, levels with unique connections to certain characters, difficulty settings that affected items and enemies, unlockable characters and outfits, cutscenes for each character, voice lines, weapon degradation. I feel it would get too influenced by Resistance nowadays ruining some of it's charm.
If the game was properly calibrated, the tank controls will exist: The Left Analog Stick is Free Movement The D-Pad is the Tank Movement That's how they did it in this game. They also had auto-aim by pressing R1 and manual aim by pressing R2. As for the issues with Free Movement, there is a 'trick' to deal with the shifting camera shift. Typically Free Movement sucks with fixed camera angles since your character can often get screwed by the camera shifts... in this game, it is slightly different. For example, in a typical game, if you are holding North in a Camera Angle that aims North and are going "Forward", and then the camera shifts to facing South, then the player will go backwards... In this game however, if you have such a situation, and just HOLD the analog stick and not react to the camera shift, then you should still go "Forward" without your character accidentally doing a 180 due to the camera shift. At least that is how it works in Outbreak File 2. which makes the Free Movement actually not impossible to use.
*How* are they not trying stuff like "X to pick up items"? or "Square is cancel" That's just common sense, it was either gonna be like X or O, why not just try pressing some buttons? Now they're attacking the ceiling by aiming up and forgot how to run again... It's like none of these guys have ever played a videogame before in their lives.
in what game is X (playstation square) ever cancel? it's always the attack button. cancel is always A or B in old games and in new games it's even Y sometimes.
@@amitbar5691 Why did you automatically assume I was referring to an Xbox controller when talking about a playstation game? Anyway my point was that they should try pressing some buttons to figure it out. Who gets trapped in a menu?
It's a gimmick a lot of streamers use. I've even seen some streamers replay the same game a couple of years later and act like it's their first time. Or streamers who love a horror series or any, that they play religiously, and act clueless in later videos. Girl Gamer Gab does it. She was so intelligent and smart in her earlier videos and in her later, newer ones, completely clueless and acting dumb. Even Tomato is guilty of it.
yeah, it's kinda funny how unfriendly Outbreak File 1 is. I am very not surprised that in File 2 they actually had a proper tutorial mission you can play in single play to actually know what to do.
The multi-view is much appreciated. Such an efficient 4:3 stack.
It wasn't until editing that I got to see how everyone gets a different little personal moment in the opening cutscene.
Outbreak and Echo on the same day! What a glorious day oh my god.

Whenever you guys get together, chaos ensues. And it's what I'm here for.

Awesome that your playing this. One of my favorite games ever
It’s so hard.
Awesome that you went through the effort to put everyones pov in the video. Sick.
I love that we can see the screens of everyone at once. Some levels you can really get split up and be doing fairly different things.
This is awesome I love how you guys learning and struggle in the beginning. Cracking me up. awesome lets play!
14:55 the zombie didn't like taking it from behind, lol!
I was a bit disappointed to not see any Lickers in the Liquor Bar. :)
Maybe the Lickers went to a different Liquor bar that night? :P
Death by getting pecked by a bird is a favorite moment here
I loved this game in highschool. great video

Nobody blocked the doooor!
What happened to the end? It got cut off from original stream when they made the tanker blow up.
As we said in the video, we had to quit and restart because the game bugged out.
The session was multiple hours long and this is just the first part.

I’m guessing the controls in this are fairly jank.
@@nevermore7285 I've played it, it's not as bad as they're making it out to be x_x

You could've tackled the door (which takes longer) if you can't find the key in the first level.
Great video new subscriber here I wish they would remake resident evil outbreak both games
