I’m actually so glad you started accurately tracking all your reading cuz my little nieces and nephews are at an age where picture books are perfect for them❤❤
I also have a job where I can listen to audiobooks, so I do most of my reading at work. I read Taproot a while back and thought it was just okay. The Ghostkeeper by Johanna Taylor is a better written version of a similar premise.
I read whatever my PTSD allows for. Unfortunately I have PTSD with “ongoing trauma” meaning I still have to walk into situations and face my worst fears, especially when dealing with doctors. Specifically pain doctors. So weeks when I get triggered, I’m down to reading picture books. I have a stack out from the library that includes picture books, middle grade, YA and adult selections at all times. I pull from them as needed. I pull from adult much less than I’d like to these days. I’m trying to accept it, for now, while still hoping my reading ability will improve one day. But, it’s hard.
Attack on Titan is definitely dark. I had to take my time with it. I'm glad to catch up with what you're reading/into. Sorry that your graphic novel/comic run for a bit was meh.
Some of us know that the real accomplishment here is reviewing all of the books that you do. 😂
