@@fruits050 I mean some of 'em are intentionally clunky since they're robots/animatronics but i get you haha.
It's nice to see that you didn't put in the game only robots, but also "organic" enemies adding more variety with foes. Even if I suspect that also those enemies are organic robots like Pinocchio himself.

@@Anaxxo It's somewhere between Dark souls and Sekiro, parry window is short and dodge is not the best in the beginning, but the game has an upgrade system that will improve your defensive and offensive capabilities. Personally I found it much better than dark souls, so it's worth playing

The environments are just gorgeous. The exploration will be off the charts.
The large enemy with two shields was a bit nostalgic and reminded me of the similar enemy Imperious Knight from the Undead Crypt area from Dark Souls 2. I definitely like the design and atmosphere of the locations, weapons and enemies in Lies of P! And I'm really glad that the Enemy Bestiary isn't limited to just mechanical dolls! I already pre-ordered the Deluxe Edition and looking forward to this game! I really hope that Lies of P doesn't disappoint fans of the Souls-Like genre and Bloodborne, in particular, and I hope you all enjoy this game!

Lies of P gonna be a fresh air to the souls genre, full of typical dark fantasy games.
This is a deluxe day 1 buy for me and I haven’t bought a deluxe version of a game in about 7 years

0:25 that eerie sound effect that happens right after P attacks the enemy is the exact same soundeffect thats from Bloodborne when you take the small elevator either up or down to the Abyss in order to get to the Brain Of Mensis.

Nobody seems to even notice that the dodge seems to have been increased in distance from the demo. Could be because of the P-Organ though.

The enemy variety is impressive
It won't be long now, before we can truly journey into Krat and battle through all of the lies and uncover the truth. But will we be able to handle the truth? Very excited!

I don’t understand why one would like to see so many bosses before finding out yourself for the first time playing the game. Those first encounters always made souls games so special..

most of these are mini bosses, only the last one was an actual boss.
Because there are probably 3 times the amount of bosses as what you just saw. And to tell you the truth this is a MASSIVE reason why I would buy the game. I would have never bought Dark Souls 3 if I didn’t see the “Tree🌳” boss. This is what gets people interest and if you were already interested then why watch it??

I'm looking forward to it but I hope they improved on the combat from the demo. I had an incredibly hard time to tell when the enemy attack actually comes through and connects and when it's just some windup, which made the combat fairly unenjoyable for me. I'm probably a minority in this issue but I'd like to see it tackled as I really like the look of the game

Looks amazing, so the demo was a very very early version, because this seems so polish, hope the full game is a much better experience than the demo.
They should try enemies on horseback puppets that will be cool
nice graphics and theme but it looks so shallow, and I'm concerned by the lack of key mapping capability (and the apparent absence of any health/ability info on the screen?). Looks like a game meant for console and ported to pc as an afterthought
No there is health bars and boss health bars their just not showing it here

You guys are talking about not having bosses spoiled. While I understand the sentiment. Lies of P has some very big standards to reach, and in sales it's okay give a preview of the product in order to entice the buyer. Yes, you saw several bosses, but it won't make the experience of playing against or the context of their appearance less valuable.
So
I hope you fixed the dogging in this game! Will wait to see if you fixed it or not on release then i will decide to buy it or not.

Nice. But is there no indicator to indicate whether or not an incoming attack is blockable or not? Or are all attacks blockable? I've never seen an indicator in all the gameplays I've seen.
There is no indication. The game states you’re supposed to block just before he attacks you. Then you get a ‘perfect block’ and an opportunity for big damage, or even just a stagger.

All attacks are blockable except for the red attacks and grabs. Red attacks can be perfect blocked though or "parried".
Also I think elemental attacks will do some dmg even when blocked.

I want them to show hectic fights like some of these and how would you in hell be able to sharpen your weapon in the midst of it, and what it adds to a fight. Because if you can jsut sharpen in between fights and can go fights without sharpening, what the hell is the point of your mechanic?
to keep you from mashing and get you thinking more about when you're using your weapon i guess
It has a lot of durability and it’s not that hard unless your trying to sharpen right in front of a boss lmao
