NOTE: This video is for adults, not children.
All 3 cards are beautiful. Your video lesson was informative and easy to understand your instructions., as well as being enjoyable to watch. Thank you for posting this video lesson for us.
Thanks so much for watching, Barb!
The third card is my favourite. I do love watching you create. ❤️
Thanks, Sheilla!
Thanks for all the lovely videos.
I am sure everyone would agree, I would be sooooo happy to see a utube every single day from you, but would settle for once a week. I love, love, love, your videos, and look so forward to watching them. I think I like your first card the best, but so hard to choose. Thank you so much for the videos, keep them coming please.
Carol, what kind and encouraging words- thank you!
I always look forward to Jill’s videos. She’s so inspiring!!!!! I simply love the way she incorporates the old with the new!!!
@@sherronrobinson6772 Thanks so very much, Sherron!
The card with the farmhouse is so 'rich' looking! Beautiful.
Thanks!!
I love the third card! They’re all beautiful, but the simplicity and serenity of the third one is perfect! Thank you for your videos! Your artistry, creativity, and down-to-earth teaching are always an inspiration and joy to watch!
How kind! Thanks, Audrey!
I think my favorite is the third with the pines. ( spruce) Reminds me of northern Michigan.
So glad you like it and it brings back good memories. :)
I watched the video of the little houses you did and I thought the blue area in front of the houses was a little river on card 2. Then today you said a road 😂
It could be either! ;) Heehee!
Beautiful…Jill you are the best teacher. Love all your work. Thank you
Consider my day made. Thank you, Carolyn, for your kind words!
They are all so beautiful!!
Thanks, Bonnie!
My favourite part was the painting technique of colouring the Birch trees.
Glad you liked it- thanks, Beth!
I totally agree with Carol E. I could watch these everyday. Beautiful cards and I love them all. The first is my favorite.
What a kind thing to say- thank you so much!
How can I choose a favourite when they are all so gorgeous?😀 So beautiful Jill.
Awh! Thanks, Alison!
Video three has sadly come to an end. I so loved watching design all these birch tree cards in different ways. The first is my favorite, but was reall hard, but I do love cardinals and especially at Christmas! They are all gorgeous and any time I can spread with you it well worth it. Hugs Jill,💜🤗😘
I like the one with the red birds best. This stamp brings back memories from when I was a little girl, we had a line of trees along the road I would play in and some of them were birches. Enjoy your lovely videos and watching you create.
What a beautiful memory- thanks for sharing! :)
Nice
Jill you never disappoint these cards are gorgeous!
You are soooo kind- thanks so much for your support!
Nice tip/trick to add a bit of color to the tree trunks -- very nice project.
Thanks so much, Mary!
The birch trees are all fabulous, you are great with watercolors, and I really want to Thaqnk You for sharing your talent.
Awh! Thank you so much, Ruth! :)
I love all your cards Jill, your lessons are so good to follow along too. Your a wonderful teacher. 💖🌲❄️🌲❄️🌲❄️
Thanks sooooo much!
You are such a talented artist I love watching you create. TFS. 💕💕💕
Thank you sooo much!
"Life is too short" to cut all the tree limbs.....🙂I just had to chuckle, because YES, so true. This is my favorite so far of your videos for this release. These birches are just gorgeous, and you teach and explain so well. Thank you for sharing your art.
Heehee! I'm chuckling now! :) Thanks for watching!
@@PennyBlackInc you're welcome
Amazing! 😍👌
Thanks. for showing masking, I had never
done that. It's great and loving all the
Christmas cards😃
Thank you so much, Barbara!
You are so talented,I love the way you colored the birch tree it looks just like the ones in my backyard! I wish I could do like you did. I will Keep trying but I'm a long way from your talents. Your created a scene that looks so real I just want to go there and visit🥰. I will keep watching for more video.
Thanks for watching and comment, Anita!
@PennyBlackInc • Jill: Quite a challenge to choose among these. Number 2 is my favorite because I love the farmhouse and the depth from the twigs in front of the birch to the distant forest.
Choosing between 1 and 3 really depends on my mood. #3 really evokes the feeling of solitude, silence, and peace that you get from a walk (or x-country ski) in the woods when you can almost feel the whole world belongs to you. (Wow! What memories this brings up in the July heat!)
Number one also gives that feel of connection to nature but with the joy of the cardinals, staying on the branches, unafraid, all united in one world.
Perhaps it's the emotional connection to 1 & 3 that makes it hard for me to choose, whereas with 2 it's the aesthetic. 🤷♀️ Don't know. Don't care. They're all wonderful. Now off to practice my blending! 👍
Wow! Loved reading your beautiful perspective! Thanks for sharing!
You make scene building look so easy! I am inspired .
SO happy you are inspired- thanks, Ana!
These are lovely, and my favorite is the card you did last. It was just such a serene scene!
Thanks so much, Janet!
They are all beautiful! Thank you for sharing your lovely art!!
Awh! Thanks so much for watching!
I always love your videos. Thanks. #2 with the house and birch were my favorites but like the others too. #3 looks easiest so will try that one first.
Have fun, Edna! Thank you for joining us!
These cards are beautiful. Love the stamps you used
Thank you! The stamps do all the "work!" :)
I really love the video. I could not have been able to do this without your help. Thank you so much for the training I receive.
Awh! Thanks, Carole, have fun! :)
Thank you for the tutorial. I love painting birch trees and this stamp will speed the process. I love your first card.
Each card is gorgeous! My favorite had to be the 2nd one since I'm a push over for houses and scenes! I enjoy the watercolor look, especially the way that your paintings turn out! Thanks, Jill!
Absolutely love them all!!
Thanks so much, Sharon!
You explain the technique so well. I am not an artist by any means but I sure do want to try scenic cards. Wish me luck. Just recently found about PB & J. Love every thing I have seen.
Scenic cards are so fun to create- so glad to have you join us here! :)
I love these scenes! I've tried some myself and they come out beautifully every time
That's awesome, Kathleen! Thank you!
All are lovely! I especially love the country feel of the last one with the evergreens in the background. I think I'm going to have to acquire this birch tree stamp - so versatile.
It is a fun one for sure! Thanks for watching!
They are all my favourites Jill... I love the stamps which are going to be so useful for both Xmas and men's birthday cards... love the way you use your paint brush to give the watercolour look... it really works... I love my water colours but also use my pads as inks...😊😍
Thanks so much! Appreciate you watching and commenting! :)
Oh wow these are all awesome,
Thanks, Monica!
I don't think I can pick a fave...but I do have a question. What are you doing when (on the first card) you are sweeping up the birch in a steady, firm manner? Are you picking up excess water and did you dry your brush on the paper towel first? I'm thinking of buying one of those spendy brushes. I love love love all your techniques. I'm still so new at this watercolor thing. I find it quite intimidating, but I could watch you create all day. Thanks for sharing your talent with us.
Thanks, Natalie! You are exactly right, if I am sweeping up color, I have patted my brush on the paper towel first so it is a "thirsty" brush that will soak up color. Watercolor is actually pretty forgiving- just jump in and have fun! :)
Love them all
Thanks, Louise!
How do I pick one as my favorite. I love them all!
Beautiful cards! They’re all my favourite. Will need to order this one for sure. You make it look so easy, but you have talent. Love Penny Black stamps. They are absolute classics. Thanks for answering my question about who Penny Black was in an earlier video. I had no idea. I’m afraid to splatter too. I’ll try your tip.
Have fun, Norah! So glad you enjoyed this one! :)
Love your work❤
What type of sticky paper did you use? They are all so beautiful!
Thank you! I used eclipse masking paper. :)
