Lay had a bad back injury during wolf promo time and he always had a prob with his knee. He once fell badly in the rain during History perf but still continued on back in 2012. He still had a few injuries during Growl too to the point they had to change the dance around (the diamond rap part where they did that back twist thing) and he wasn't at the front for awhile. He was really sad at this time (as seen and said in their reality show Showtime)

I think he has Hemophilia. It can really affect the knees, elbows, and ankles. He usually has problems with his knees from what I've seen :/ I think that's why but I don't know for sure.
