Again, I really enjoyed Stephen Twardokus as Paul but wonder why in the movie he and his girlfriend didn't notice the resemblance to Paul and the father who killed his family in the pictures. Also, why after going through what he did, why take personal effects from the house. That's asking for trouble. I watched thus far the second time and liked it so much I saved it under my movie list. Something I don't normally do. ❤❤
Well,the movie was ,for the most part,a dull buildup into the climax,which was a chase scene,inside a house, between a dull-witted man and a guy with a bed sheet over him,which,inevitably,turned into a physical fight with said guy with a bed sheet over him........The good news and the most astonishing thing I took away from this film is the fact that,even with the millions of dollars of high-tech equipment that have been used for decades by thousands of people to catch and document the existence of ghosts,little did ANY of us know that all it took to accomplish that almost impossible feat,was a little old bed sheet!!!!!Glory be,we learn something new every friggin` day!!! NEXT!!!!

i am a paranormal investigator, ghosthunting, bigfoot/ufo etc... typically you might have alot of ghostly activity, but the energy seems to drain and not much happens, until you move into another area of a house, building, then it might start up again. Ironically i live in a haunted house, but not much happens, hear the computer chair upstairs moving on the floor protector, in the kitchen, i have heard the backdoor open, then someone open the frig a few times. in the kitchen i have heard the hanging pots banging a few times, no draft, no window open, no heater turning on/off etc... to cause the pots to bang.

Do I believe in ghost and/or spirits? You bet I do. My Grandmothers house was home to a ghost for many years. Did I ever see it? Nope, but I sure as hell felt it on more than one occasion while living with her. Other relatives also reported having seen it or felt it's presence at different times throughout the years. My Grandmothers house is no longer standing as relatives sold it many years ago and it was torn down to make way for business suites. Does anyone in the family know who the ghost was? I don't recall anyone ever having put a name to it other than it was male. It's just one of those mysteries that will live forever in our own family history.
That's fascinating, did you/have you/will you ever research who haunted your grandmother's home ?? I'm sure theirs records of people who passed away there prior to your grandmother living there but if theirs no record you can find maybe it was a restless malevolent spirit with the want for someone to find out their name and lay a dark mystery to rest, I believe spirits don't stick around unless theirs a reason, I believe its souls taken from this world not out of their choice maybe murder victims or hidden accidents who knows, personally I'd have to do a little more digging but you have to be cautious as the more you dig the dirtier it gets in many cases.
Just something to think about, maybe the male ghost was a man that had passed away before your grandmother had owned the home....or possibly somebody in your family? A grandfather? A son? A nephew? I believe it wasn't evil at all, just a spirit that didn't know he was dead...

The hold 'dramatic hand' thing was a bit much, but I genuinely loved the sheet thing! That was super clever and super terrifying. I thought that was great.
Wow! Great movie! Jump scare galore! The old saying be careful what you wish for comes into play also it's one thing to move into a place you don't know is haunted or a tradgic murder has happened but doing it on purpose is not a good idea by any means wether you believe or not in the paranormal
The acting was decent, but it takes slow-burn straight into boredom and when something does happen, it is some done-to-death-a-million-times-before trope. Jump scares are hardly effective these days apart from being annoying and this movie is about as scary as a peanut. I really hoped it would pick up, but it stayed beige all the way through.
This movie is so slow that I forgot I was watching a movie and watered off to do something else in the other room. Seriously. Forgot I was watching this. I'm quitting 25% of the way through because this is torture.
If it wasn't for the loud pounding on the piano keys as "Rupert the Bear" appears or the "oh so conventional figure shape draped in a sheet appearance" there is practically nothing to make YOU (not me) scared in this movie. Not one of those piano pounding moments made me jump, not one of the usual paranormal tricks, doors suddenly opening, toys inexplicably appearing, chairs being stacked or person using a feckin torch in a suitably modern house with electrics made me in the slightest bit edgy ! This is a horror film for simpletons !
