Luna was one of the best characters this show ever had. She's so strong and still didn't seek for battles, helping others to live in peace. I can understand her disappointment in human kind in the end, as well, and i'm really sorry she died. She deserved better.
Beautiful video, I'm so sad about Luna's death. I wanted her to survive at least this season and get to know more of her backstory. I met Nadia Hilker in Paris during fan convention, no wonder she portrayed Luna so beautifully, she's an amazing person with a good vibe, not the fake vibe. Since that meeting I rooted for Luna even more! Reshop Luna kom Floukru!
oranjezicht I met Nadia at Survival 2, so I know exactly what you mean. She is truly one of the most beautiful people, and you're right, it just made me love Luna even more. (And thank you!) 🌸
abigriffins Glad to talk with someone who knows what I am talking about :) I had a meeting with Nadia and like 10 other people but she managed to make everyone feel special. And inspired me to write a book. And about Luna I know what happened kinda makes sense but I still feel like it's a waste of a very interesting character who could have brought so much more to the story than dying as a crazy villain.
I feel bad for disliking Luna thinking she had turned to the darker side but when I stopped to think about it, she wasn't 'bad' she was just hurt and betrayed by people all her life because she was a nightblood, she grew up knowing nothing but violence and death so she strove for peace after being forced to fight and kill her brother - Skaikru used her for her blood to make a 'Cure' against their impending doom - I am not surprised she was pissed off and embittered now. Luna was a victim of humanity's selfishness, she really did deserve better. Reshop Luna, kom chilnes yu na ban sishou-de au... :(
This is so beautiful and an amazing tribute to Luna, I can't believe how bad they treated her, this character had so much potential and they wasted it in the most disgusting way
I agree wholeheartedly --- that is the one thing I hate about the 100 --- the writers have the characters betray themselves in every way imaginable. Luna was all about peace and love - to take her character to such a dark place was a complete waste ...in Luna, the writers had the potential to redeem themselves after the way they killed off Lexa --- it was disgusting that they didn't take it. I wish they had written in that Luna took the AI - she would have known at that point that Lexa was striving for peace. Things would have been so different - but that would have placed Luna in the lead and the writers/creators won't ever let Clarke fall from that title. I had to quit watching this for awhile after they used Luna as a human pin cushion - not one of them stepped up and stopped Roan from fighting her during the experiments...that moment let me know that none of them are redeemable. Finn was the peaceful guy that hated guns and fighting -- then the writers wrote him in as a mass murderer. The killing of the 300 that were there to protect the sky people -- another disgusting moment. Heck - Lexa not allowing justice after that made me sick...Clarke wasn't worth the senseless loss of 300 of her own people. The waste of the Luna character was the last straw for me. Odd how the Walking Dead franchise took advantage of both the actresses the 100 wrote off. But good for them. I hope Nadia Hilker (Luna) has a long and prosperous career...I just hate the creator of the 100 didn't see her worth. Everyone on this show betrays who they are. I can't think of one redeemable character that is still alive. The human race isn't worth saving if we lose our humanity...in the end, I guess I adopted Luna's unfortunate pessimism.
Skygirl on the ground -- you are in the minority. Luna was an incredible, complex character --- unlike the sky people --- I can't think of a single one of them that has a redeemable character. The closest would be Raven.
her ending was one of the most tragic things in the 100. not only because she died, Luna died with pure darkness and rage inside her. The same darkness she had been running away from. She died as a person she swear to destroy. She died believing she's nothing more than the rage, but the truth is she has a kind heart. Luna was the first one to believe in "blood must not have blood"
Here I am again, can't resist to see this video every time it appears to me. Luna was my fave beside Lexa, and this tribute is so beautiful, I'm glad there's people who loves her how much as I do. Luna deserved better.
She was such a great character the only one maybe that put peace higher that survival. She was a different person in the last episode, just so different. Can't tell if this was the real her tho..I loved her anyway and I'll miss her.
Unicorn Heda I think she was simply desperate and disappointed by the world and the people. All she loved died. The people used her. She was such a strong and complicated character. They could have done so much more with her.
Unicorn Heda it was the real Luna, the Luna who was mistreated, who was raised in violence because she was a Nightblood, the Luna who has been betrayed, the Luna who wanted this violence to stop, even though she tried to stop it with violence. Luna in this episode was the Luna the inhumanity created
Her characters ending was just another hack job by the writers...they allow their characters to betray themselves constantly. Luna was the last redeemable character on that show - too bad they wasted her in some dark, twisted plot that betrayed her soul. Raven is the only other person that hasn't crossed over to the dark side at least once. Marcus Kane and Monty have stayed true - now that I think about it -- at least since coming to the ground. Jaha, Bellamy, Clarke, Abby, Jasper, Octavia, Finn...all have been very disappointing.
This vid showed me how amazing of a character Luna was. At first I thought she was selfish and arrogant but now I understand why she was the way she was. She's such a strong person mentally. She knew what she believed in and didn't doubt herself for a second. She believed in peace and she had found it. Peace out of darkness and cruelty. Not many people can go against the tides like she did. Her past made her who she was and damn was she amazing. The sea, waves and water was so important to her I suppose because it made her feel at peace. Maybe she really should've became commander then there would be no war, no killing. When Clarke offered her the flame, as Clarke said, she could've continued what Lexa started. People didn't have to die. They could've just been punished by banishment or locked up. But then the show would end and the writers would lose their jobs .-.
God I hate the way they destroyed this character. She had more depth than any of the main characters. For Octavia to stab her in the back then say she was not worthy of being saved -- just compounded her death and highlighted how right Luna was in saying the others weren't worth saving. Such a waste...
She was never a villain to me. She’s the definition of a good person broken down by betrayal and violence until they’re unrecognizable from who they once were.
I didn't like her in s3, I just thought her a coward and... well, like she was too much talk and nothing else. But the first scene with her in s4 made me change my mind a little and every single next episode made me change it even more. I really think she was one of best charaters of the show, really complicated and... well, now another lost potencial :/ Really well done tribute
Since the last episode 4x09 or maybe before in the season 4 I love Luna and your video is just perfect. I love the music and the part that you chosen . Very good job! Keep doing video like that :D Thanks you for this video. ❤
this is incredible. luna is such an underrated and under-appreciated character in a show full of characters who are always fighting. it was so nice having a calm in the middle of the storm. i hope luna is with her people-returned to the water where she belongs.
this show has killed two of my favorite characters so far, i only have raven left :/ they could have done so much with luna's character she is so symbolic and and morally grey, i dont know why characters like jasper and bellamy get to survive all this and not luna? this is my last time giving this show a chance, only for raven.
S t a r F a l l yeah, finally. I will kinda miss the old Monty and Jasper friendship but I think it's good, that he finally dies. well, now I can just wait until Bellamy follows him ^^
It's just so hard think about her death, cause she spent all her life searching peace, and then war found her again and again. It's just like a phrase I saw, "you may not be interested in war, but war is interested in you". I'm sad for her to left the dark side win, but I understand. She was human, and that's why she was such a great character in this show. Kom woda 'so gyon op, gon woda 'so gyon daun. Reshop, Luna kom Floukru.
Ah this makes me so sad. She was truly a beautiful and tragic character. I was really sad when she died because she was most definitely worth saving. Reshwe, Luna kom Floukru.
Luna is one of the most skillfull warrior, she kicked the ass of both ronn and octavia combined. Yet all she want was peace. She was a powerfull character but got ruined and killed.
She was just betrayed, hurt and disappointed. She fought for what she believed in. Luna was the best. I'm just happy that maybe Sea Mechanic will happen in the afterlife:). Luna was really worth saving
Brilliant job! You should be commended! Luna was the best and most intriguing character on this show...with Raven coming in at a close 2nd (I do love Monty as well). The main characters of Clarke and Bellamy kind of make me want to vomit in most of the episodes - especially this past season (I watched on Netflix - so I may be a little behind). The actress who portrayed Luna seems like a really nice and thoughtful person as well. I hope she has a great future ahead of her --- as I would love to see her in something that is worthy of her acting skills! Thank you for the video -- it was much appreciated! Man, I hate how the writers/creator of this show squandered such a deep and amazing character...Luna deserved better and Nadia Hilker sure as heck deserved a regular season spot on this show!!!! What a freakin' waste. They could have made up some ground with most of us if they had given Luna a much longer and better role on this show...they could have redeemed themselves a bit after the mishandling of the Lexa character. It makes me want to go back to writing...maybe write Nadia a role deserving of her talent. When writing --- the starting is always the toughest part. I have extensive medical training and most of what I write is based upon my knowledge there. I'm not sure we need another medical show...=)
Luna was such an interesting unique character and while I wish she had survived longer I agree that her death made sense. Also, I am excited to say I will be meeting Nadia this weekend at a local comic con.
