The studs useally represent 100 years of service so he been in service for 400 years
Titus serve as a blackshield in the deathwatch after his inquisition investigation
The chained weapons are something he picked up from the Black Templars, who he was last seen with at the end of the first game - presumably after having served alongside them as part of his inquisitorial evaluation
Actually if you check closely those aren’t weapon chains but it’s rather a penitent chain with an inquisition symbol on it strip to his arm, if you see other footage titus still have the chain with the symbol without any weapon in the hand.
Also the black templars at the end of the first game probably got retconned since the art director of the game added them just because he needed some “crusader holy bodyguards” to attach to the inquisitor who took custody of titus, so when he was searching in the lore for a chapter of marines who could get along with the “inquisitorial holy knightly space warrior” he found the templars and added them without knowing anything of the lore.(since in the lore templars don’t really get along with the inquisition pretty often or easily, their relation isn’t that great)

The scrap metal piece at 2:30 is literally the symbol of tzeentch? Or am I going insane? I thought it was quite obvious but I might be mistaken.

Despite loving the 40k IP I've been feeling increasingly resentful towards some of GWs business practices.
Can't wait to pick this up, it'll be a way I can somewhat still interact with the IP while pulling back from the tabletop games

Super disappointed that there's no playable Nids. More boring Ultrasmurfs which I'm sure will have foot thick plot armor.
Super disappointed as I was hyped for this game. I simply can't support something written by Ashley Cooper, someone who hates me for being straight and white, 2 things I cannot change.
Still hyped, but fearful of the story.
Luckily, Ashley Cooper no longer works for Sabre Interactive and hasn't had any involvement with Space Marine 2 since September 2022, so odds are good that Cooper's politics are not going to factor into the game at all.
