I appreciate this video. The webcam looks good but I've watched so many videos that made this webcam look perfect, to the point, I thought the reviewers were cheating. But with the imperfections in your video, I know it's a legit review.

Curious what did you record the video on ? (Zoom?)

You can fix your "too much headroom" issue by adjusting the AI Composition Lines. Move the center line up just a tad...makes a world of difference.

30:13 OSC means Open Sound Control which is a "professional" standard to remotely control all kinds of devices. Invented to control mainly sound devices like mixing decks from a distance you can actually control anything by anything as long as both understand the OSC protocol. Like you could use an iPad to control the Obsbot cam like you did with the Elgato Stream Deck.

Hi Adrian, love your video and your presenter style. I own a Tiny2 and I do think it is an exceptional product. However I am not impressed by OBSBOT Center software. Problem is it sucks a LOT of resources from the system, especially if you turn on some AI. (I am in 14" MBP M1 Pro).
In some instances I checked system resources and OBSBOT Center itself jumps to 120%+ of CPU usage. THIS IS CRAZY! Also, video processed through Center is not fluid and exhibiting some slightly jerky motion, certainly not 30 fps. (This is visible also in your video)
One of the issue is that it is still an Intel software (at least this is what System Resources says), so it requires to pass through Rosetta. I complained this with OBSBOT guys, but I see latest software update is still Intel.
That's why, especially on Ecamm, I work straight from the camera, without the help of OBSBOT Center.
Thanks for the attention. Excellent video by the way, great!

@@incbyakyabyakya6275 it usually remembers last setup. If you don't need to change settings live or need the OBSBOT virtual cam feature, you can live somewhat without it

@@incbyakyabyakya6275 In the OBSBOT Center software, go to the "Output" column in the "More" settings. Turn on the UVC Mode button.

What's the frame-rate, like 15fps? It's sharp but the quality is unacceptable in 2024 imo.

I disagree, I think it's exceptionally good for what it is. 4K 30fps, 1080 60fps. Even on my camera I only use 30fps.

@@AdrianSalisbury I think the point is the recording shown in this RUclips video is SIGNIFICANTLY lower than 30fps. It's choppy and does not look good at all, there's a clear difference between the shots with the Tiny 2 vs a shot with another camera.

    • @alessandrocapitani7270

@@MyNameIsLiamHammett The problem lies in the OBSBOT Center software. Very inefficient. See my message above.

Useful info, but the quality is poor in this video, very jerky and your audio is out of sync too, not impressed by this camera ☹

It’s looked less jerky before you tinkered with it 👎
