No hate but this is how I imagine someone who has 700b as far as how they look and sound.
LMAO yeah
Hahahha
And got it returned cringe
AND he killed vindicta (google it) 1 million times (averaging 1 minute per kill)
As someone who plays both games, its a very good system when you realise and understand what its legitimate use is for. An example being, I had dyed some new weapons when they first came out, 1b per dye. When I went to remove perks from said weapons, the dye disappeared from 1 of them. They returned the item in its dyed state because of this.
In RS3 I died from DC and couldn't find the world I died on to get my gravestone. I lost the full 90 tier Armour set from that ports minigame (can't remember what it was called) and lots of items, and I submitted a ticket and they returned it all
Why are you still claiming items from gravestones + death keeps your items for 23 hours after death (unless you die again before reclaiming)
ports armour is tetsu (melee), seasinger (mage), deathlotus (ranged)
U talking about minigame armor or ports?
You could've gone to death. Gravestones shouldn't be a problem
lol?
In other games, they 100% have taken the items from whomever ended up buying it. I'm sure they track that person who "bought" it to see if they did anything suspicious also, or where their gold came from.
But if they catch the person who it was bought from, find the gold they got from the party hats, they can just give the gold back to the buyer and transfer the hats back to the original owner easily.
I got a rare item from a boss, and a week later they added it to where the item would now be a collection log item, I submitted a lost item request and they filled in my collection log for me :)
When he started killing vindicta, he had a head full of hair
Haven't played RS3 in years but used to have max cape. What's stopping me from swapping over 10b osrs to rs3. playing on it legit for a few months then telling my friend my recovery questions and pretending I got my account hacked and getting a extra 10b spawned into the game? I bet people actually do this.
they check trade history etc, so this method i doubt would work, but with jamflex you never know
One of my clan members was hacked a month ago and they lost a golden party hat and a green Santa hat. They submitted a claim and Jagex returned the items to them
i was allso hacked and send so much E-mails but never get it back and i dont get any answer ...
It would make sense if this was related to an internal security issue , seems unlikely to me you’d get items back for logging on to a phishing site. Or legitimate server issues / disruptions could also be a legitimate reason , but besides that , I don’t know. Seems unlikely
This.
Gagek may be comprised of a bunch of half momos…
But even half a momo is gonna realize right away that if you return everyone’s scammed items, it will undoubted be abused more than a coiffed machine at a car dealership.
The only way I can see them doing this is for specific cases where there’s something more going on that makes gagek at least partially culpable.
Considering how well known wake is for the vindy kc and how much he does it, would really shock me he would even get hacked if I had to guess he clicked a stream link by mistake
bro they give out shit that didn't even exist on peoples logs to irons for example. i know people who have 0 ambassidor kills and got refunded like 3 eldritch crossbows. Tehy literally don't look for the most part at shit.
I got my shit back after losing 20b, got 7b roughly back. Wasn’t discontinued but got dyed items returned
Obviously they’re spawning items in the game lol, why is this so hard to understand for people. They can spawn anything into the game as they please
NS. But Google how that affects in game currency bud 😂
Obviously takes its toll on value of the items and overall gp/items in game
Like a stock market so yeah just spawning items to replace them without removing the original is bad aha
@@ohlongjohnsonnnnnn I understand your statement bud but what I said wasn’t about the economy it was simply about the fact that they have the ability to spawn in items and it is likely that the original items weren’t even removed unless they did track where they ended up and banned the account with the item on it
or they traced where the items went and recovered them?
@@Pantelli why is this so hard for you to understand? They have an interest in not dumping items, and they are able to track items to make sure they don't dupe them. What do you not understand about that?
I was hacked and lost 30million, small amount compared to some but it was everything I had.. Jagex actually put 40million back on my account. Respect to them
Sad i had rares hjacked in the past they never returned any of it, as a loyal member for years, they just didn't care also took a while to get a none bot response
someone on RS3 got lured and lost billions. They lodged a ticket and got their stuff back as the lurers abused a bug
All transfers of the discontinued rare items are tracked in rs3. They've talked about it a few times due to the infrequently of their movement.
Single handedly reducing monolopy on phats what a legend
I had a bank pin 2 step authentication and still got hacked... it was after twisted league... I don't know how it happened I just logged in and all my stuff was gone...
Yo oak just watched the vid hope jagex is doing the cry emote man
crazy out there
mt theory on how the items are gained is that a jmod has a max stack of said item in their own bank and can just move it from theirs to another for sake of ease
Wouldn't be surprised if with items that have that kind of value they have a system in place that logs each and every character those items pass-through and so long as they are able to make it to where it's
1 account banned (whatever account was used to sell to the 'legitimate player' you were mentioning), the amount the 'legitimate player' paid for the hats is returned to this player and the set/hats were removed, added hats back to original owner's account.
They do, they have trade logs, grand exchange longs, death logs, drop logs. pretty much everything thing in the game is logged for developmental and report related processes.
Oak.
Where is part 2?
I am glad the items were returned, it must have been very upsetting for him.
What I was hacked 2 weeks ago, submitted a ticket and still nothing... ;_;
theres no shot in hell that they spawned the partyhat set, lol. They got it off a perm banned account
Weird fact, the player "pizza mn" was the only know person to get his items returned after being hacked.
He got his pizza stack returned as he was giving them away to the community anyway.
Jagex do have the tools to do this, just difficult to do for individual players.
im sure they have deleted enough party hats to make up for a few spawn ins
Wow rs3 is making good decisions and getting on top of things that make sense for the integrity of the game.
lmao
no its because a literal j mod was stealing account/items from them.
And they did not return my items when I was hacked. Through authenticator and all other stuff. Only thing that saved me was bars and ores that hacker left in artisan workshop (pre- smithing and mining update). Even tho they admitted I was hacked and someone turned off my authenticator by sending e-mail to them -.-
For every item they spawn in, how many are or has been taken out? Is this really a problem
They can track the rare items pretty easily and they have mentionned it. What might have happened is that they took off the p hat from the players who bought them and refunded them their gp.
I could easily see the items being brought back in from banned accounts that already had them?
Man what a champ I didnt even have close to that wealth when I got hacked but it really took the wind out my sails =/
There are so many item Dupes happening every year that there are more party hats spawned than you can imagine.
Only thing keeping prices as high as they are - Players themselves. They will not disclose how many party hats are there, they will just keep on collecting them to keep value as high as it is.
because of the price of partyhats and the limit when it comes to shards - it would be hard to offload more than 1 phat on 1 account at anytime, so there is a chance they're able to track them. I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility. This is coming from someone that owns a couple - It takes me days, even weeks, to find buyers / sellers looking for fair prices atm.
I don't know about that one brother. in the bot bust's their have been multiple accounts with party hat sets that have been banned. Or RWT bans. what if they moved it from one of the banned accounts to his account? Means no additional party hats were "spawned into the game" Just existing ones that were inaccessible became accessible/ Traded to another player.
They could do that but I doubt it, them taking rare items from banned accounts shouldent be a thing because sometimes people appeal and get their account back. That would mean there is a chance some1 gets their account back only to realize jagex gave their rares to some1 else which would be a big issue.
@@Oakdice True, but certain offensive are unappealable. Like a ban for macroing major. I'm not sure how many accounts were banned for macroing major with a P-hat set, but over 20+ years i would assume there's a few.
i thought this as well for a moment and then i took my tinfoil hat off and went to sit outside on the deck
@@Jin-lx7or but If I sit on my t.v. with the hat I get a better signal. That's Check bud.
So does jagex bring him back HIS partyhats or do jagex just spawn them in, effectively duping phats and putting more of them into the game?
Jagex probably tracked who traded with his account and see where the phats went.
Rs3 player looks and sounds like exactly what I would imagine
toxic
I mean honestly, only took the money and the party hat... he didn't seem super concerned but losing a discontinued item would be detrimental asf for most players tbh
Imagine the mods that can turn themselves into jad can also spawn phats
1:30 how do you transfer gold from rs3 to osrs?
via swapping/exchange clans, I happen to own one (:
so in general this video is about a guy getting his phat set returned and you assuming it wasnt taken from another account knowing full well you have no idea whether it was taken back or spawned in? Tbh i consider it highly unlikely that they spawned it in, theres nothing for them to win but a lot to lose. but nice to see you are so convinced of this lol
I think they’re able to rollback separate accounts
The items are obviously all spawned in
@@Pantelli all items are spawned in if you think about
He likely got back what can be salvaged and probably rolled back the other accounts. Jagex knows where those phats went. The Shards probably already dumped in G.E dor some reason or too tedious to get back.
@@Pantelli how is it obviously newly spawned in? Makes no sense to assume that and take it for a fact
Interesting thought about where the phats came from.
I think the hackers didn’t manage to sell the party hat set
Damn I was getting all excited I lost all my rares in 2010
i can see the party hats maybe having a comeback i wonder if there are also papier party hats in runescape would be for a great april fool joke but also as a nice happy birth day gift.
I lost basically my whole bank (was only a couple hundred mill in gear and runes, alot to me at the time) back when Vorago was released due to DCs from world crashes, they where doing something similar back then I submitted a request for what I lost and never got it back or heard a word.
You need to be a streamer or nobody cares.. it's always youtuber/streamer privilege that gets people free stuff, nobody cares about regular players.
They’ve stated before they cannot spawn any items. But we know it’s not true.
I mean there’s (potential) legal consequences if they don’t replace people’s wealth when it’s over a certain threshold
and inb4 someone says “TOS says it’s worth nothing”. Jagex doesn’t wanna have to hire a lawyer to say that, because even 5 hours of lawyer work is over 1000$ USD often, so it’s “sometimes” better to bite the bullet
Obviously there is no such thing as a discontinued item; at least in the virtual world.
In all fairness, we have no evidence nor have heard the other side of the party hat situation. Maybe, just maybe, the assets can be tracked?
I got hacked for almost 4b within 10 mins. I submitted a ticket, jagex sent a reply stating they found a help of third party account (indicating they know its a hack) but no returns. Gg.
That's why I never gonna have expensive items until I see they can get to you in time and cen see it all what happened to your account so they can easy move items beck where they come from or as alternative have alt that's not hard to use cuz of member ship or two to store on with different email ....
So technically there's more phats in the game now...? So now people are going to think they can stage hacks and have the chance to get double the profit once they get the items back...
I got hacked for 6.3b most likely by Mod Jed a month prior to the first confirmed hack and never got a jagex reply on my reddit posts. Found another guy with the same circumstances as me as well in that same time frame.
Man, i also had 4b hack and jagex help return them
Not what happens. Jagex refunds the whole tradestream. In essence a closed roll back. The legitimate buyer gets his money refunded aswell.
The JMod’s could pose as normal players, spawn shards and buy the rares and then return them to players to prevent the supply of rares increasing
Highly doubt they would go through the hassle of doing that.
I was hacked and lost 30 million water battlestaves...
I got hacked today when I logged off last night I had 42 million which I was saving for a bond logged in this morning 0 it's a bit disheartening
Oh wow it’s just like I said they are going to make more party hats slowly so that the price comes down
Instructions unclear, Sold set for 400.
Thanks again oak geez!
If only I could have my magma and tanz helms back. Other than that and around 3b, I miss my zulrah helms.
Went to the beach, had a killer weekend, came back and boom. Nothing in the bank and the acc was in deep wild
Your acc wouldn’t still be in the wild that doesn’t make sense lol
Could've brought bank to wild and dropped items over instead of pking the acct.
@@bugzonline ahh true I didn’t think of that lol I was just thinking well if they killed you you’d be at your home spawn but what you said is true
@@bugzonline also I’m here 2mins later so I know you liked your own post brad :P
Of course "discontinued" items are not really discontinued. They're digital items that have been created with artificial scarcity. They can be added to the game whenever they want.
right i was confused when he was talking like they only exist with players that have them. its a number and that can be copy and pasted.
Sure didn’t believe my lost item claim, and I secretly wish demise on this game because of it. The audacity of those Brits
Why do you think he was legit hacked while the hackers left stuff like his hsr (ring worth bills) and 30b+ worth of gear?
So that they can hack him again when he rebuilds with the pvm gear, some hackers do this since its easy to hack the same person since you got their personal info.
Late af comment but in regards to his HSR it was imbued so it's untradable
Execpt that thery would take the gp from the hacker discard it then generate the hat
They have given me back items I've never even had on my account before, and multiples of items ive gotten(over 10b worth). it makes me think they used to not give a shit about investigating. But after the water battle staff incident, they are less lenient.
What’s the water battle staff incident?
party hats are so few that i think they just tracked them all down. their shit is quite advanced in rs3.
Those phats left the game and became dollars faster than you opened your eyes this morning.. someone got 20k and this guy just duped 700b
I think you have the wrong idea.
What probably happened was the hacker sold it to legit players, and Jagex reversed the trades.. The legit players got all of their money back and the party hats got removed from their accounts, and the hackers account got banned for doing what they did.
But how will the legit players get their gold back? Lets say I bought a blue phat from runescapewake for 100b when he was hacked, the hackers will quickly sell that 100b to a gold seller who will then quickly sell that gold back into the eco where it will be traded back and forth between other players. Somewhere down the line a legit player who is trading/buying that hacked/rwted gold will get screwed over if they reverse trades because Jagex will have to take their gold. Bare in mind in this example I bought the phat for 100b off him when he was hacked, that means jagex would have to go and take the hacked phat off me to return to runescapewake while tracking all the gold from others players to give back to me. Its much easier imo to just spawn gold to avoid this confusion otherwise some legit player will get screwed over either way.
@@Oakdice right I totally get what you're saying but their internal investigative tools are probably able to make some pretty complex graphs that trace where items and gold are going. I'm guessing that some of that gold couldn't be recovered because it had gone to legit players in one way or another that would have ended up screwing them over.. but the rwt trades were easily tracked imo.
@@Max-cm2yv Nope buddy, they just injected another 700b into the economy with spawn commands.. rs3 is a gonna make a hell of a rsps real soon with corrupt jmods and trash trillion economy.
jamflex been snap shotting accounts, status items etc for i dont know how long, all the major updates in a long time they have done so, that would mean every account in the game is snap shotted, and jamflex know what you had etc,
@@ianhopkins7457 snapshotted or not, mule already cashed in, all they can do is ban the guys who bought that phat set, which hacker doesn't care for anyway, he got his money and ran away
You would say streamer favouritism but I’ve seen someone post about him having only up to 5 or something viewers a stream and roughly 40 views on average a month, so it’s a weird situation all in all. But hey, it could’ve been a trainee at Jagex that refunded his stuff 😂
700B in rs3 is like 2 euros?
We live in a RuneScape bubble
To regular players items are discontinued but yes they can spawn items. they own the game they can have in game commands, console commands or they could modify database tables which im sure by no accounts are stored through database. they have items players don't have and items players will never have.
Or maybe they just took rares from accounts that were banned for rwt and replaced his lost set that way.
Wtf. They probably located the party hats deleted them and gave em back. They delete stolen wealth literally all the time and ofc jagex can spawn rares into the game
But they wouldn’t replace my whip my friend stole from me in 6th grade. Damnit Clay that shit still pisses me off
Theyre gunna make it even harder to do legit item claims now, people have abused the hell out of it in the past, one dude claimed like 12k master caskets and hadnt completed more then 10, bragged and got banned but
He gets "hacked" but they leave multiple big ticket items in his bank? Seems strange to me
They left his pvm gear on purpose so that they can hack him again later once he rebuilds. Once you get hacked on rs once its easy to hack the person again since you have alot of their personal info.
@@Oakdice FR? Thats some 200IQ damn.
Banned accounts with phats most likely don't get "deleted", so really they're never out of the game :s
im going to believe its fake until i see confirmation from jagex that they did in fact return his items.
He got them back rightfully so. I helped hin get it back. I have helped 2 friends in the past 3 months get hats back after being hacked and they successfully got everything back. It took multiple returns because they didnt return everything at once
there are probably countless partyhats that have been removed from the game on banned accounts so I dont think putting 1 full set back into the game is really a big deal
it is because the market is "based" off those hats being gone forever
@@Jin-lx7or no its based on how few are left
@@Detested ?????? and why are so few left? could it possibly be because... no, theres no way its because the hats on banned accounts are gone forever, right?
also "based" because it really just comes down to manipulation
@@Jin-lx7or theres quite a few just all on accounts that are market manipulating lol
@@Jin-lx7or also new ones get added semi regularly since accounts get hacked on a semi regular basis lol
they can track all trades and will remove it down the chain. If the player who bought the phat set with in game coins theyd return those and remove it off the other who recieved the coins. If they paid real world cash for the phat set, theyre fucked
Jagex probably spawned gold to buy the phat set from the existing economy theres no way they spawned a discontinued item
lol
osrs is not same btw maybe they give only for rs3 good.I got hacked aswell before they doesnt help me acually. They not giving items anymore.
How do RuneScape accounts still get hacked can someone explain?
That money is like $20k usd worth that those hackers sold later.. RS3 account can be hacked with a $200 software, so that kind of pays out? There is no system that can't be breached, especially not jagex's security system from 2010 lmao
@@nedirajmihrvatsku holy shit what software is that ? And how does it do this? If I was a billionaire I don’t think I’d ever flex my bank at this rate lol
its funny because 99% of mmos will just replace your missing items runescape is one of the only one that really rarely helps players
Out of those other mmos I would ask how many of them have a demand for items with real world money
@@-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- literally every popular mmo has real world trading wym lol even diablo immortal does and thats a failure of a game
@@Rathial hmmm interesting, maybe some of them don't care about the rwt aspect of their game that they'd just spawn lost items for the player
On osrs theyd just say "tough luck" lolol
As they should, your account your responsibility.. they just ruined the eco for other xxxxx number of players for one streamer to feel good.
@@nedirajmihrvatsku Na they just pick and choose who they wanna help. And it's always the Rs3 players. When that 9hp guy accidentally got 10hp, they fixed his account. But when S u o m I accidentally got all 200m skills, they didn't help him out. They muted him. Just a biased ass company.
@@aShamelessHigh I still remember the suomi issue yeah.. disgusting from them, guy puts his life into the game and works hard to achieve something in rs, and they just discard him like that and humiliate him in front of the community. The shards this guy is missing is probably the % jmod took for this lmao.. This company is piece of shit that is milking us by using nostalgia
Yeh there's a brutal video of player 'Michael R S' getting scammed / social engineered for 5 Bil osrs. Idk how he fell for that but i think jagex pretty much told him tough luck.
i dont hold any rares on rs3 now i just hold gp, with jagex saying they gonna do something about rares i think they will bring them back to a shop where u pay a fixed fee for them.
Yes they will add taxing for super rares
Not a bad idea though as far as a gold sink, could say like 100b straight gp for a blue or something
Jagex has the capability to do this is oldschool. I think they have made it very clear though that they won't. And it's easier to say that they can't, rather than coming off as rude as an entire company when they have to tell someone who legit gets hacked no. In rs3 I don't think it matters so much because its a small player base and he's obviously not selling it. But with the amount of actual hacks in osrs I could see huge issues with it
Maybe jmod bought a set from the ge instead of spwaning
700b??? must be breaking rules to do so. why do this without a law suit when everyone else is refused?
its not concerning (well it is) but, we all knew they could spawn any item they want its just lines of code... not like the code for discontinued items is locked...
He plays on the same world as me
There is also a possibility they took a phat set from a banned account. I believe they just spawned it in but who knows how many accounts with phats on them were banned so in theory it could have been moved rather than created.
It just blows my mind that ppl have 700b lol I play a lot, like a lot & I'm nowhere near that kind of money. I guess if you've been playing for years & years & got very lucky when new updates came out you've made a lot of money. I just started playing on 2020. I am glad he got his set back. I'm surprised they didn't take more of his items tho. I would think a hacker would pretty much empty anything of real value like they did my buddy a few months ago. His 2nd time being hacked smh
When I got hacked I lost 2B it’s not a big deal right at least compared to this bald granddad but I submitted a ticket as well and didn’t get anything back!!! Can’t believe he gets 700B back what is this
bro if you kill a boss for half a million minutes to earn that gp customer support gonna look at you different thats a lifelong customer right there
it takes on average 15-50 hours to make 2b on rs3
700b takes well at say 50m/h doing vindy about 14.000 hours that is 14k hours killing 1 boss doing nothing else over and over and over again.
so yes in that case he would get a special threatment.
content creator privilege
this is just loads of bs, back when mod jeff incident happened I also got cleaned of my bank at the same time, but I never got my stuff refunded, this is the shit I hate that influencers and people with high cash amount people only get the priority, like I had to start from scratch after I was cleaned and sure as hell it wasnt fun. "we cant give stuff back in osrs" again which is loads of bs when we have pictures of it happening.
Every game prefers streamers and youtubers. RS3 is living off maikeru and few more people. It would've died a long time ago without them, so they have to lick their balls for every view
I got cleaned for a white during that incdent
not gonna lie this system can be abused im not proud of it but i did abuse it 1 time on my ironman account to get my nox bow back and it was accepted and i didnt get hacked or anything simply just drop traded it
Everyone gets mad when jagex does one thing right. I've seen bugs occur and people did not get items back def should be done more often.
idk how i feel about this....I logged out of my character a few years back..didn't log in for over a year...paid 6 months sub in advance...2 weeks go by and I'm perma banned...for what? no idea...they said I was botting...how the fuck was I botting if I was logged out not subbed to the game, I work in Alaska and at that time my job kept me in Alaska for 9 month out of the year..I never played any games, no time..I'm still raging pissed..that account was almost 15 years old at the time, no fucking way I'm risking botting on my account almost 15 years old..or at all. Fuck Jagex.
I've believed for a long time that the GE only works because of Jagex spawning items into it. There is no way that random things are there all the time. I understand there are a lot of accounts and people do weird things for money but you can almlst always buy whatever you want on there and it does buy at some point (generally pretty quick) it just seems partially staged.
Not every item at least on osrs
