I had always heard Kent C. was the hardest enemy in the game, harder than Bowser, even. But the way you did this was super simple. A lot of times I disagree with your strategies and play styles (especially EarthBound and Xenoblade), but I'm 100% going to do exactly what you did with this guy.
The other person who replied to you is right. When Bow is Ultra Rank, she will get a new move in which she uses her fan. The Fan Smack cost 5 FP and does 2 damage per slap. Even though her regular attack hits six times when she's Ultra Rank, her Fan Smack only hits five times. 10 damage against enemies who have no defense is the heaviest hitting Partner move after Goombario's Multibonk's potential.
Fun Fact, if you equip the deep focus badge, and use lullaby, you make most enemies fall asleep. the deep focus badge makes it basically to where, if you use focus, you restore a whole star point in about two turns. You can break the game using that strategy.
I have a useful tip on beating the Amazy Dayzee. Have your Dizzy attack badge equipped. Then when you see one, use your Speedy Spin to bump against it to get the first strike. It automatically puts the enemy asleep for one turn. Then use a Power Bouce on it. And lastly, finish it off with Bombette's Power Bomb. Just be sure to have Bombette as your party member before you go into battle with one. This always works for me, and I get to totally max out HP, FP, and BP. I hope this helps you out
Yes, I know this video is super old, but I'm sorry Chugga, or if I want to be formal, Emile, the "Buzzer" as you called one of them is actually called "Bzzap!" And I'm not kidding about that
Man I remember when I was a kid and got stuck in flower fields cause I was confused on what to give the flowers and I felt like an idiot when I figured it out haha, watching this lp again makes me want to play this game again.
1. South part of Toad Town, left of the guard of the Forever Forest. 2. Mt. Rugged - You need Parakary to fly across a gap. 3. Forever Forest, in an area with a path leading to the very middle of a section. 4. Lavalava Island after you finish the chapter and get the treasure, you can trade the treasure for the seed with Professor Colorado.
1 - Toad Town, south of the area with the Garden. 2 - Mount Rugged. After you get Parakarry, go to the spot a few screens past where you get him. You'll find a slanted slope with some Spiky Clefts on it. Walk past the slope while on the ledge and fly across the gap. 3 - Forever Forest. Chuggaa shows how to get it. 4 - Lavalava Island. Get the treasure from the Volcano where you found Sushi and give it to Kolorado who is in the Village. He gives you the seed.
9:57 Did you know that Buzzers are based off of the Pokémon Beedrill? It's true, since the first Pokémon games were released in 1998, and Paper Mario was released in 2000. Edit: It turns out that when I went to the Super Mario Wiki, the enemies are known as Bzzaps, not Buzzers, and the Buzzers appear only in Super Mario RPG.
You are right. A lot of Nintendo bosses have a tail weakpoint. Super Mario 64's Bowser, Ocarina of Time's Ganon, Kirby 64' 02, Link to the Past's Moldorm...the list goes on.
This is definitely my least favorite chapter. The backtracking is annoying, and the enemies are annoying. However I do love using the Amazeedaisy to level up.
Now THAT was a helpful video. I actually kicked Kent. C. Koopa's ass using goombario or Watt I think. Had to keep him on his back all the time. It was not easy.
I knew about Kent C. Koopa's weak point (a koopa in koopa village will tell), but I didn't know about being able to put him to sleep. Note to people not so familiar with the game, Kent C. Koopa has a defense rating of SIX (so most attacks at this point will do little or no damage to him) when he's standing up, and a rating of 3 when knocked over. I thought his jump attack did less damage though. He has on other typical koopa shell attack, which is weaker but it hits your party members.
...I did not even know his tail was a target. So THAT'S why you can send him on his back. Still, I laughed in the face of his defense and beat him in a straight-up damage race. LIKE A MAN.
It's her ultra rank attack, basically her normal attack with double power. Not sure if the amount of smacks increases though. Don't remember the FP cost
To be perfectly honest, sir, I thought that the Lullaby method on beating Kent C. Koopa was just a rumor. I'm pleased to see I was wrong! :) In fact, I think I may just do that the next time I fight him.
Another thing i didn't knew, anyway, i prefer to go ultra defensive with mario and let watt adn star storm do the dirt job (i also use deep focus like a freaking addict) but anyway, being able to use different strategies makes this game more FUN!
wow i feel so stupid now, i never knew you could attack the tail, i always had to like bust out some ultra moves or something to get through his defense or i used a d-down attack on him
@SuperGameProXD well it just keeps it at the last save since you have to shut it off after the credits but you can just go back to the town and do watever
chugga just to let you know you don't suck at power bouncing the game just limits your power bounces on bosses from 6-9 bounces each turn, but you can do them forever on a normal enemy so ya just thought I'd let you know.
Goombario could be useful fight Kent.C if you wanna do it before chapter 6 because he charges so you do more damage and if you hit his tail while charged it might do alot...
I always thought Kent C. Koopa was the hardest boss in the game. I never knew about the tail though that'd probably make it much easier to beat then what i usually do to beat it.
My easiest chapter was chapter 7, if u can't win . . . well I'm srry btw about opening the Flower Fields how does the Gardner plant them, she justs jump up and down O_o
Jesus this is the video ive watched when i was 5 wow Chuggaaconroy thank you for the wonderful memories and for introducing paper Mario to me :D
5:40
Bow always looks so smug no matter what's happening...
I had always heard Kent C. was the hardest enemy in the game, harder than Bowser, even. But the way you did this was super simple. A lot of times I disagree with your strategies and play styles (especially EarthBound and Xenoblade), but I'm 100% going to do exactly what you did with this guy.
***** Thanks for the tip! I did it and defeated him. It wasn't so bad!
Those trees look like something out of a Dr Seuss book.
Huff N. Puff is a fart cloud
Lol
I thought Chapter 6 had far more backtracking than chapter 4. But aside from that, it was still a good chapter.
Whispy's gotten huge!
I know that Chugga made this LP a long time ago, but i still love watching it because of what he said at 5:49. It always makes me laugh every time!
It's pink and you get it in Toad Town. He just said Red. and the Forever forest Bub-ulb gives you a Purple seed
Fun Fact, if you equip the deep focus badge, and use lullaby, you make most enemies fall asleep. the deep focus badge makes it basically to where, if you use focus, you restore a whole star point in about two turns. You can break the game using that strategy.

"Do you know what else is yellow?"
LOL!!! XD Spongebob reference!! I really cracked up there! :D
Kent was a nightmare for me as a kid. I eventually discovered his vulnerability to sleep, but I never knew about the tail until now.
hey, i never knew how to beat kent C. koopa, even that second & third time i played the game i couldn't figure it out, thanks chuggaa
Yes, I know this video is super old, but I'm sorry Chugga, or if I want to be formal, Emile, the "Buzzer" as you called one of them is actually called "Bzzap!" And I'm not kidding about that
Wish Wisterwood has side by side pupils, but blinks like he has an eye.
6:58 omg its the great deku tree.....
Man I remember when I was a kid and got stuck in flower fields cause I was confused on what to give the flowers and I felt like an idiot when I figured it out haha, watching this lp again makes me want to play this game again.
Wow, only one attack! You seem to be really good at this game.
Kent C. Koopa... lol.. nice part as allways!
What I never got is why, whenever you entered Flower Fields, the door spun around to the opposite side like an NPC turning around.
at 5:56 that sound was really funny.LOL
I had no clue he was vulnerable to sleep or in his tail, so that's why he beat me about 15 times (no joke).
And I still hate Kent C. Koopa.
when you chose bow insted of watt i was like yessss because i love bow.
1 - Toad Town, south of the area with the Garden.
2 - Mount Rugged. After you get Parakarry, go to the spot a few screens past where you get him. You'll find a slanted slope with some Spiky Clefts on it. Walk past the slope while on the ledge and fly across the gap.

4 - Lavalava Island. Get the treasure from the Volcano where you found Sushi and give it to Kolorado who is in the Village. He gives you the seed.
Ruff Puffs enough said screw those enemies they caught me off guard with their power of 4 each!
Note zaptap and volt shrooms have no effect

When you went through the door and said that line, I said "That's waht SHE said!" Why don't you do that anymore?
got that stinky herb
HA, that koopa´s named is Kent C. Koopa. no wonder he is so strong........ What?
This is definitely my least favorite chapter. The backtracking is annoying, and the enemies are annoying. However I do love using the Amazeedaisy to level up.
Now THAT was a helpful video. I actually kicked Kent. C. Koopa's ass using goombario or Watt I think. Had to keep him on his back all the time. It was not easy.

Who else thinks that Kent C. Koopa sounds like "can't see Koopa"?
Another Guy With A Toon Link Profile Pic that's the pun
How do I get the stuff to plant the bean? i beat the puff puff machine before I got any of things
I didn't know about the tail so I had both D-Down badges equipped.
Lemons are yellow
indeed they are
Pears are green
5:49!!! "You know what else is yellow?"
...I did not even know his tail was a target. So THAT'S why you can send him on his back.
Still, I laughed in the face of his defense and beat him in a straight-up damage race. LIKE A MAN.
Crazy Daisy reaction:
That's an enemy? But its smiling at me! Hugs!!! :)
(As u can guess, didn't turn out so well...)
That’s what I thought first playing this when I was 7.
It's her ultra rank attack, basically her normal attack with double power. Not sure if the amount of smacks increases though. Don't remember the FP cost
I never knew his weakness either! What I did was flipped him with Goombario's headbonk and then used Mario's hammer attack second.
To be perfectly honest, sir, I thought that the Lullaby method on beating Kent C. Koopa was just a rumor. I'm pleased to see I was wrong! :)
In fact, I think I may just do that the next time I fight him.
My favorite chapter is the next one...yes, the one with the therapy music.
Well, I guess now I know why I had so much trouble with that darned Koopa.
5:48 "You know what else is yellow" yeah, pee!
Wise Wisterwood, I think, is a reference to "Whispy Woods", a boss from one or more of the Kirby games.
I didn't know about the lullaby trick or hitting his tail so I got destroyed until I looked up a walkthrough of this part.
"He says 'ho' a lot. Maybe he's hinting at something..."
*Gasp* Santa's a tree?!
@MrConcreteDonkey toll guards never sleep when money's involved, and there's no day/night system in this game
i always wondered, what if you give her all the seeds before finishing chapter (clears throat for a chugga impression) FIIIIIIIVEEE
Another thing i didn't knew, anyway, i prefer to go ultra defensive with mario and let watt adn star storm do the dirt job (i also use deep focus like a freaking addict) but anyway, being able to use different strategies makes this game more FUN!
sweetness all my favorite colors paper mario is awesome
wow i feel so stupid now, i never knew you could attack the tail, i always had to like bust out some ultra moves or something to get through his defense or i used a d-down attack on him
Last time I played through, I fought him at this point in the game and absolutely decimated him and I didn't even know about his tail!
the epic voice reminds me of the news guy from spongebob.
I hated it because I had to redo the whole world because I didn't save before huff n. puff
rip
@SLthePyro
You only need to use Watt and defense down-pound. He's not that tough either way. But congrats on doing it the real way.
Chuggaa: YA KNOW WHAT ELSE IS YELLOW???
Me:Spongebob, le duh!
By the star silhouette I can tell its that star with the book and the bow tie XD
Hmmm.... I wonder why the bulbulbs don't go to Mushroom Kingdom from the flower fields if they aren't getting enough sun.
@SuperGameProXD well it just keeps it at the last save since you have to shut it off after the credits but you can just go back to the town and do watever
I never attacked his tail, I just used Lullaby, Focus on Marios turn (for another Lullaby), and Watt for the whole battle.
I thought for sure you would just pop out on the other side of the door.
To defend against the craze dazzles attack press a JUST at the end of the song
Take advantage of him while he's asleep!
There are a lot of fanfictions i've seen about that. That would RULE
Whow the Crazee Dayzees look like Shy guys wearing a flower mask
chugga just to let you know you don't suck at power bouncing the game just limits your power bounces on bosses from 6-9 bounces each turn, but you can do them forever on a normal enemy so ya just thought I'd let you know.
Goombario could be useful fight Kent.C if you wanna do it before chapter 6 because he charges so you do more damage and if you hit his tail while charged it might do alot...
I wish there were a certain area in Flower Fields where you could somehow turn into toon link for that area. ( Unless u leave or fight an enemy. )
Well Chuggaa, Whispy Woods, a living tree from the Kirby series, was able to walk on his own in some games.
Those crazy daisies are Jigglypuffs in costumes!
Kent C. looks like a nerdier version of Hookbill the Koopa
Anyone else used a compass for this level lol.
My reaction after beating Kent.C Koopa, then watching this:
'You can attack his tail!? I power smashed and used Watt!'
Super Blooper affectied by Luliby!
you´re the best chuggaa! I only created an account on youtube, becaus i want to comment your videos! btw i guess i´m your biggest fan from Germany
I always thought Kent C. Koopa was the hardest boss in the game. I never knew about the tail though that'd probably make it much easier to beat then what i usually do to beat it.
@rogierpoep.
It can also be a pun on Clark Kent (superman)

I never knew about the trees. Interesting.
My easiest chapter was chapter 7, if u can't win . . . well I'm srry btw about opening the Flower Fields how does the Gardner plant them, she justs jump up and down O_o
A: I think it's middle, right, left.
B: They're called Bzzap!, not Buzzer.
you would think them keep hiting his tail would wake him up
@redch0c0b0 I think he got the glasses after he was named. He Kenn C. us.
It's funny how people say Kent C. Koopa is harder than Bowser, even though he is a total pushover...
It's pink and you get it in Toad Town. He just said Red.
Tails as the weak spots are for Mario games, while eyeballs are the weak spots for Zelda games.
6:09 there go a lot of your man points...
its middle right, left adn a happy flower badge pops out
damn....I had to use a ton of armor pierce attacks and life mushrooms....I didn't know about lulluby or the tail...>
I usually get the ultra boots before going to Flower Fields.
How did you find the ultra boots
