I've always loved unique songs, away from the mainstream sounds because unique music brings so much more unique emotions. With this one, it's a mixture of reminiscences and bittersweetness that I feel. The lyrics are so bittersweet, "and I know that these things aren't real, as perfect as they feel, I'm content with this unreal dark world," this dream world is literal heaven for him, a million times better than this hard grime boring reality, and each and every night he see's the girl of his dreams, feeling like he's known this girl for thousands of years yet can't remember her name or even her face when awaken, and the only thing he wishes is to stay in this world with this beautiful girl. The video to this brings me reminiscences, if you close your eyes and think of a memory, it looks like each clip of this video, slightly black and white with bits of color, and only seeing 2-10 seconds of that memory, never truly sure of what happened before & after this certain memory because this small second of time is what you truly remember, so with this, it feels like I'm watching someone's memories as he thinks back on the good ol' days. Another interpretation that I feel with this, is this could also be the beautiful dreams that he see's at night too.
