I've come to the conclusion that the previous attempts show that Dr Doom just doesn't make a good movie villain. He does not translate to the screen well. I want to see other villains like the Mole Man and all the crazy cosmic and interdimensional stuff, the Negative Zone, Annihilus, all that jazz.
@@ian_b Darth Vader was George Lucass complete 1-on-1 Doctor Doom take, even the voice and talking mannerisms and characteristics. Darth Vader is a Doctor Doom lift. If you imagine Doctor Doom instead of Darth Vader speaking those Darth Vader lines, then a Doctor Doom movie adaptation would be something much closer to that.
This looks so much cooler than anything that would come out now, except maybe the Galactus. That was kind of weird. Namor came out way better than the one they got now.

I think Disney should use your idea of doing a cool, retro, 1960's FF movie too. They could have introduced them this way and then, through an accident in their time machine (or something), bring them up to date in the present of the MCU in the 21st century.
The FF *was* a 1960s superhero team in the first place! Apart from the Silver Surfer, every one of them were perfect and, in fact, better than the modern depictions. Especially Galactus! Like, *wow,* man!😉. She can devour me anytime!

Never seen Galactus look so good. However, I'm not going to argue the toss, here, even though Gally is meant to be masculine in form. He is a Force of Nature, so can be anything he wants, apart from what the One Above All needs him to be.
The impression I got was the look was inspired by Gerry Anderson's Supermarionation shows like Thunderbirds or Fireball XL-5, also his live action show, UFO.

This has sort of 1960s "Lost in Space" vibes or, well, any of the old Irwin Allen TV shows, like "Time Tunnel" or "Land of the Giants." I agree that Marvel missed a golden opportunity with putting the Fantastic Four in live action during the sixties. Their esthetic was perfect for the era.
That is an interesting point. I think it is to be noted that presently a well-made television series, like Doctor Who for example, can easily be better than a movie, because the special effects have evened out in the quality which is available between TV and film and a TV series can allow for much longer character development and story arc. The MCU has replicated this to some extent but making an multifilm (and TV series) interconnected reality which featured many nicely long-drawn-out character and plot points (like Captain America criticizing Iron Man for not being a leader and being willing to make the sacrifice move- which he then actually does by flying the nuke through the worm hole, and then later with the gauntlet).
I really like this tonal video... Long before "X-Men Days of Future Past" (which I loved) I felt that in order to do the Fantastic Four correctly, it should be done IN the 1960s as a period piece like "Lost in Space" or "The Thunderbirds". By putting all these superhero movies in the near future the characters less spectacular because EVERYTHING around them is being made to be spectacular. If you want the Fantastic Four to be Fantastic present them in the provincial 60s when the common man would have been in fear or awe of them and the gateway of villains and contemporaries that come with them, and the Mid-Century Modern aesthetic that would come with the environment and inventions would be just as Fantastic to see.
That sounds perfect for the time! In the 4-part comic Marvels, I swear Alex Ross used the likeness of Russell "The Professor" Johnson for Reed Richards! 😁

I love this !!! Can we get a fantastic four 40s version and an up graited now version. I would love to see how a 40s version would look with today's CG abilities. These characters have a kind of nostalgia about them and gives me the feel of the old creature features and captain 20. I would love to see Netflix or someone else look at this , write some stories, one shots into a series just for a minute. The fantastic four is and will always be my favorite superhero team and this looks like it could be a fun project to look into

@@megaultradamn well, first off, I work in different applications than everyone else, it seems. I work mainly on my iPhone using Photoleap or Wonder, but I think it works the same as Midjourney.
@@megaultradamn (sorry, I hit the send button by accident) what you need to do is create a list of phrases that produces the effects you want. Something like “sharp focus”, “high detail”, or “dynamic lighting”. So the idea is that when you go to do the art, you load the application with as many phrases possible to get the results you want. Also, I found that typing in details that are absolutely important to the work more than once. For example, if the color green is important, have it in the prompt text in two different spots. I’m not sure if you understand this or not, but before you render the art, you need as many text prompts as possible, so you may have many lines of text which looks like a large paragraph. Finally, add commas between each prompt. I’m sure you will be an expert before you know it! Good luck!

Just discovered this channel & this very video and I'm truly & legit impressed by how well-crafted this whole project turned out. Idk about anyone else, but I'd be more than fine with a movie based off this time period being made, especially with those AI designs. Hell, I'd even go with these redesigns becoming the new official looks of the main versions in the comics. Definitely earned a subscription from me.

Just like the ChatGPT can now write stories. But that will be the end of Hollywood, so maybe it will get suppressed?

haha sure. Honestly AI is in such it’s infancy that we were lucky to get what we got. It has a mind of its own. Sometimes you have to push it really hard to get specifics. I have the FF comic where Dragon Man first appears, he needs to have a more dinosaur look and built up muscles, Dr Doom and The Mole Man are spot on.
