  • Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians (from 1954) play the following: "Little Girl" sung by Kenny Gardner, "Answer Me My Love," "Tales from Vienna Woods" with the twin pianos of Freddie Kreitzer and Buddy Bennen, ""Bimbo" sung by Kenny Gardner, "La Golondrina," "My Gal Sal," and a Carmen Lombardo medley which includes "Little Croquette." This show, released in 1996, is hosted by Al Pierson and was recorded from a satellite feed.

    Thanks for posting, I can't get enough of these old films of such greatness. I wish I could have seen the band in one of their 48 New Year's Eves in NYC.

      You're so welcome, egreenbery. My wife and I began to really appreciate the Guy Lombardo band when we picked up a stack of his old recordings on 78 rpm 30 years ago. So glad you enjoyed it. I have a few of his other programs on my RUclips channel.

    Love this band. Their tempos were so unique. Such a versital style that they out lived the swing bands. In 1965 Guy was the number one recording in the world having sold 300 million records!
