- In this year's 2022 NBA playoffs the Minnesota Timberwolves were a part of 3 strange protests related to chicken farms and animal protection. In the play-in game vs the LA clippers and then in the first round vs the Memphis grizzlies 3 total games had woman protesting owner Glen Taylor. These protests went viral on the internet as Chain girl, glue lady, and a woman getting tackled by security brought awareness to their cause. This video explains each protest, how they are related, and what the point of each was.

So let me get this straight, these "Protestors" decided that the best way to protest animal brutality, is to give money to attend games of the guy they are protesting against?
Their mindset is “if it gets peoples attention, they’ll hear our cause”
They do it for the publicity and it’s worth it 💯 % they paid a couple thousand for millions to be aware of they cause

I think its so funny that they're clearly planning these in advance, but it takes watching a video like this to figure out what exactly it is that they're protesting.
It's funnier how the NBA complains about police brutality and the George Floyd incident, but event security uses way more physical force on protesters or "unruly" fans than any law enforcement agency in the country.
The NBA thinks that violence inflicted on customers by their security employees is "okay," but police officers restraining someone is wrong.

That security guard knew what was up, he was two seats away and wasn’t even watching the game at all. Just had his eyes locked on her and did his job. Respect

@nerdscornercollectibles7902 knowing the crime situation in Memphis these days, it's actually scary that someone who lacks some brain cells managed to sneak in the arena.
There is a cool story about that security guard. When he was younger he and his friends tried to sneak into a game. The security guards caught them and they were going to be detained, but the head security guard gave the kids free tickets instead. Now he works at the same place where he first was trying to sneak into!
He also recognized the lady and was waiting to see if she would move.
The best part is these people probably bought tickets to the game😂😂you’re literally feeding the guy your protesting😊

I feel like its only a matter of time before someone does something legit crazy on a basketball court. We're gonna lose court side seats and have players either play on the other side of barriers or on an elevated stage in the future imo.
Way too easy for these goons to get onto the court. That last security guard was READY for her to make that move. Scary to think if he wasn't actively waiting for her. Even more scary to think if someone ever decided to attack a player.
I think they should have barriers to begin with it’s too easy for someone to just walk/run on to the court ofc it would mean taking out the front row so players don’t accidentally injure themselves

@@HolicChan Him and his company that he owns outside of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Rembrandt Enterprises, had to kill 5.3 million chickens last year due to the threat of avian flu infecting the poultry there. As such, animal protestors that care for animals far too much (like the folks at PETA or in this case, Direct Action Everywhere) did protests at NBA games because they figured it'd let people know of their cause a lot better by comparison. Does that make more sense to you now?

You didn't listen?! Avian flu is a bird flu which could infect people too. If some of the chikens from that farm was infected thay can't release them to other farms and spread flu even further. That is insane! I do agree thay could use more humane way than suffocation but you can't change what was done.
