My mom and my family are non believer. Nowdays my mom is not like she was used to. She fight with everyone. She can't control her temper. So i decide not to talk with my family. It's really hard but i prefer to stay away from any argument. And this comment confirm my situation thankyou

I lost my mom when I was 7 months. Our father abandoned me. I have 3 siblings. They were all adopted except me. Growing up with no family wasn’t easy. Still, I’m thankful to God coz He’s always besides me. He made me a strong person. Now, I just graduated my college and have a stable job already. Thank you Lord coz you didn’t left me alone. Whew this true, when you don't wanna be in the spotlight God still uses you for his Glory
A. Primary reasons why people have distorted vision
1. Allowing your past to determine how you see
2. Entertaining gossip. Information you have been fed determines how you see. Your environment, peers influence how you see. What people know, they kill ; What they don't know, they talk about.
3. Bitterness. Every thing a person with bitterness does is from a place of hurt, unforgiveness. A person with bitterness is always trying to prove himself
4. Self righteousness. Using 'our' love as the measure and not God's love.
B. How to undo distortion
See beyond the physical. Have an eye that looks at the heart. Psa 32:8 ...I will guide thee with my eye. Focus the eye of your mind on God. See past your two eyes, be led by the eye of God.
*Imagination is the eye of the mind*
C. How to activate God's sight
How does God see? Psa 103.
1. Don't look at somebody through their failures, shortcomings or mistakes; everybody sins
2. Love the way God loves. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. God's love is not blind, it sees all, accepts all because it knows God can change all

From past hurts, trauma, molested, rape, abuse, misunderstood, etc., I isolated for protection & peace of mind while seeking God & praying that He teach me to love like HE loves. A precious Saint who has gone home to heaven had very good discernment..People would call her to try to be nosy..She had a key to God's house she came and went as she pleased...lol..she was precious..People would call her trying to be nosey....She discerned it and she would say my ears are not garbage cans. She would not talk about people and she would not let you talk about anyone else. One of the most GODLY SAINTS I have ever met. We knew this about her because she would get to preaching and would say someone called her and she told them... She was blind for 12 years and God gave her back her sight.
