Tanner Wilson replace the strut mounts with the stock strut mounts, the maxspeedingrods one are garbage, since the stock ones have bearings it will get rid of the noise, if ofc you still have the stock parts

Thanks for your vids. Great info. I just deleted my cats and installed performance headers on my 2003 e46 (325i). I noticed that when I was putting my engine mount back in it wouldn't quite fit because the headers were in the way. I was able to use a hammer and tap the plate down just enough for it to fit. But the header is sitting right on it. Is that normal? I don't remember if the cats were touching the mount or not.
Michael Smith The BMW owner said this: I would tell him we didnt take the mount off at all we went in through the top with one and the bottom with the other and mounted them separately. However it does ride on my heat sheild for the chassis.
The only difference between the m54 and m56 is the ccv system is built inside the valve cover on the m56 and the ccv is built in the intake manifold on the m54
yungcake1 the secondary air pump is only used to help warm up the catalytic converters that were in the headers. Aftermarket headers don’t have the cats so you don’t need the air pump anymore. Be warned you will fail emissions with aftermarket headers if you live in a state with emissions inspections
Most people, when buying a 2000's e46, are getting it second-hand off Craigslist or a used dealership. There isn't always a 330 available. When you're on a budget and you can't find the one you really want, you end up settling for a 325 before your money dwindles and you get stuck with a fucking Toyota camry.

Why not leave the secondary air pump on?

You will have a little bit of a rough idle at start up for about 5 to 10 seconds but other than its kinda useless to have lol
