    I was on the Travis Base Honor Guard in 2005. When did “ready, cut” come in for everything? We just did it as a natural progression of the movement.

    “LEFT SHOULDER” is NOT Right Shoulder!

      Yes, it is if you are the left rifle guard. The command is "Right Shoulder, HARMS!" and both guard execute movements to go to the outside shoulder. So, Left Shoulder is Right Shoulder.

      This is for base honor guards. It is ceremonial drill for a specific job. AFJROTC units don’t use the same manual of drill, as they are only authorized to execute regulation drill moves. This is in accordance with the USAF Base Honor Guard manual, while AFJROTC follows DAFPAM 34-1203, and TC 3-21.5 as necessary.
