Fun fact about usps. When u use a pwe u can write "non-machinable" along the edge or edges & they wont run it thru the machine, been doing it for 5 years now not 1 complaint from buyers or post office, every1 is happy.
On that returned letter it had ANK written on it. That means Attempted Not Known. Meaning that the mailman delivered it to that address, but the people who live there gave it back saying that person doesn't live there.
Wanted to give some clarification on Ebay standard envelope since I'm a mail carrier. I've been a mail carrier for 6 years and never once heard of the program till I started selling. I've never seen a card come back because it wasn't flexible enough, it's always been because of thickness. When it's running through the machines if it's too thick it will rip up the machine and possibly the cards. You will see black rubber residue on the envelope when that happens. Your post office probably has no idea and was never trained. Drop it in thr blue collection box or put it out for your mail carrier. We don't care. The clerks at the post office would be the only ones checking
to answer your how flexible at 9:28 mark; post office regulations are 80% of the envelope needs to be flexible. BUT keep in mind, it always comes down to how the carrier was trained and what post office someone is dealing with.
Good stuff and enjoy the content. I've picked up many tips from watching your channel. For shipping I usually have a 3 day window for getting things shipped, but usually ship within 24 hours. For standard envelopes, I use Card Shelz from Armalope. I feel it gives the card a bit more protection than the standard white envelope. A bit more expensive, but to me, it's worth the extra protection rather than having to refund a buyer for a damaged card. I purchase 600 envelopes from them for about 15 cents per envelope
Great video love hearing everyone’s ideas. I also got the idea of putting my labels over the flap from your videos. I lost anything card under $20 free shipping. Seems to work good for me.
The first time I shipped with PWE, the post office told me the same. Not flexible. Wanted to charge me $5 to ship it. I said no, went to another post office and the worker said it was fine. It all depends on the person working. I never went back to the one that tried to charge me extra even though it is closer.
Appreciate all the points of view. For some reason, free shipping doesn't move my sales needle as much. Weird how different things work for different people! Love the show!
Not sure why everyone doesn't put the label on the back. I have been doing that for years. It makes it look 10times better and helps hold stuff shut or getting snagged.
I Def think it helps secure the flap better than tape or even the sticky. However I kinda disagree about the look of it. I'm just used to seeing label in the front and flap on the back and I go to the flap to open it quickly. However with a label over the flap now, it's harder to open. Not a big deal obv but still something I find new and odd as a consumer
Just to throw a curveball to your conversation I only list $3 or higher at the moment. I’m open to getting a scanner (and listing lower), but for now I tend to lean toward 30 different individual card player lots.
Will these tips help you get more sales from the greed monster EBay Algorithm? - ruclips.net/video/gSHvz0pyBfQ/видео.html
Good stuff! Cheers 🥂
What do you use for protection of the card? Top loaders? Cardboard? Just paper?
Hey Paul !!
hey regina!
I have had a few problems with Oakland.
Just started watching, thanks for the tip on taping over the flap of the envelope!
no problem! definitely helps keep the cards safe without extra tape
I'll have to look for that setting in my scanning software.
I use PaperStream ClickScan in the advanced Settings you can choose a profile and create custom profiles.

@@TheFlippingSportsGuy The eBay addiction is real.
I just started listing cards but my problem is I never get any views on them even if I promote the cards

You inspired me to sell older commons. Lord knows I have a bunch of them. Thanks
good luck and I hope you have success!

I agree sell for whatever price you want ...I like seeing other people's prices and using that to price my listing.

Yeah for me i no longer buy any cards unless I can get $3 shipped. Especially when I'm going thru the dollar boxes at shows.
