#BrianWilson LIVE Full Concert 2017
I don't care if Brian's vocals are "doctored" or recorded years ago... I don't care if they were recorded 200 years ago... The music is amazing, and I love it. I'm thrilled that at 75 he's still out there showing the world his amazing music. For all I could care, this band could play with Brian just hanging out on stage with him singing NOTHING... he's one of the most brilliant songwriters the world has ever known.
So ist es
You said it, Mike! couldnt agree more....
we just want to see Brian able to just sing anyway he is capable of. I don't care if he is out of tune but he sound wonderful in this concert. He is making for lost time when he was in that dark mental funk. He is just doing great to be together & tour, I can cry just thinking about his come back and seeing the guys getting along and still loving what they do. God bless them all, keep rocking it for us we need oldies like you to keep our memories.
Then I hope you've seen videos of the Fendertones. No Brian, but they recreate Brian's songs so well! And they mostly do it for the fun.
We saw the last show they did in Costa Mesa, just fantastic. Brian was singing, no doctoring or whatever. Matt Jardine did a fantastic job helping the band, and doing his own thing.
I look forward to seeing more from him as well.
There will only be one Brian Wilson. Let's enjoy his music forever.
Let's here it for Al Jardine come on give it up if you can
Sing like that in your 70's WOW !! Bring it on
Another enduring legend
Matt Jardin is just wonderful on those high notes! The apple doesn't fall far from the tree!
Ditto!
Brian Wilson is a musical genius, contributing to our lives for 60 years. The tone of his voice and his high falseto serve as the magic behind his brilliant harmony arrangements.
Brian's a legend who deserves acclaim and respect.
True.
David Gee indeed!
He does have acclaim and respect.
Yes. Isn't it a shame how there are villains in his remarkable story?
Absolutely
Matt has got to commended for his singing ability
Following in his famous fathers footsteps
Brian was spot-on, at 75. And of course, we can't forget Al Jardine
I consider these tours with Brian as a continuing love fest for the man and these wonderful songs that mean so much to all of us. Many of us have known these songs since they were brand new, and they have aged well, and have picked up many new fans along the way due to their timeliness and excellence. Long live The Beach Boys and Brian!
Love seeing Brian & Al singing & playing together completely live with a great band.
Brian and Al have been like brothers for so many years.i love that they still perform together.....Brian Wilson is in a class all by himself.
Incredible band and music. Nicky Wonder was one of the greatest guitarists in all of pop/rock music. He could emulate anything. The band has never been the same since he passed away.
Matt Jardine is outstanding
It is good to see Al Jardine on stage.
I gotta say, the Jardine father and son, Al and Matt...sweet fancy Moses. They are locked and loaded. Such gorgeous voices. God bless.
This is the music I grew up. I can't stop crying.
If you have not watched Brian's live Smile concert on RUclips, you are missing greatness! Brian abandoned the project in 1967 and finished it in recent years. A masterpiece! The Beatles said Brian Wilson was their only real competition
During the 1960’s there was Lennon, McCartney, Brian Wilson, Bob Gaudio, Frankie Valli and Bob Dylan. These Giants of Music were All Contemporaries. NO OTHER DECADE Ever Saw or Will Ever See This Kind of Talent Again. Not Least among these is Brian Wilson. His writing is Phenomenal and his Incredible Falsetto is Amazing. He Is The Beach Boys !!!!!
Al's voice hasn't really changed for a long time and it's been fantastic. He should get more attention for that
Kazuma Kawami Agree. Al is highly, talented.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing Mike Love or Bruce Johnson ever did with the BB that Al Jardine couldn't have done very much better
@@shanewright2772 not true, Bruce is really talented
@@yaniingham-thomas5001 yes, I mis phrased what I wrote, I meant purely vocally. Bruce is a very gifted instrumentalist and he's written his share of good songs too.
Al Jardine still can sing!
I turned 74 last week and ran high school track practice in 1965 singing Let's Go Surfing Now knowing my friends were in New Smyrna Beach surfing while I was gutting out another lap. The Beach Boys were the greatest... Little Surfer Girl, In my Roof, My Little Deuce Coop... and more. Good to see they are still jamming!
Respect to Matt Jardine ... his vocals help keep the Beach Boys Feelin alive .
So totally true!
Al is a perfect example of someone who never smoked or did drugs completely maintaining their youthful singing voice
Ich bin 74 Jahre……und bekomme immer noch Gänsehaut ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Brian keeps me going. If he can do it, I can, too.
Me too - I am 71 and have been a fan since "All Summer Long" - I played that record all summer long, much to the dismay of my poor family! All of his musicians show that age doesn't matter when it comes to make great music!
No words to describe the musical genius of Brian Wilson...

Brian and Al... truely friendship
The Beach Boys with Brian Wilson were a great representation of one of most BEAUTIFUL time in music in our country and also around the world. Their music never gets old.
Al Jardine sounds as good as he did in the 60s
Paul finn yeah true
So very good... BRIAN as always is a genius.. AL great as his wing man always there ... may this continue forever ...
I don't care at all that the younger bandmembers lead Brian through the most difficult vocal parts. It is obvious that a man of his age can't reach the high notes anymore. It is about what he still can do, what he achieved in his life and how he manages to keep us listening to his wonderful music. And he still has the talent to gather the best people around him.
Bravo Brian, I hope you'll be with us for many years to come!
Given the smoking, drug abuse, and bad habits he kicked in the 70's, his voice is in rather good condition
I believe his greatest skill is the magic he is capable of making in the recording studio.
It doesn't sound forced either. They're a bunch of musicians singing great songs and Brian is kind of like the MC

You GENIUS
Brian and Al will both turn 80 this year! They're still awesome, aren't they. I grew up with them, so guess what that makes me?
84 - 85 ? Long life to you !
Brian & Blondie...their voices are like visits with great old friends.
❤
Brian Wilson has always been such a musicial genius, and his band is still fabulous! I saw him and his band on the Cayamo Cruise just before the pandemic shut everything down and he had the entire audience of avid music lovers on their feet throughout most of the concert!
The best ever music group,no one could compare.Im still listening 72 yrs later.
Brian is a caring soul. I couldn't make it to his solo CD signing at Barnes & Noble in Chicago years ago. I wrote and told him I had to miss it. I was stoked when i received a signed CD of his solo in the mail a couple weeks later!! and a freebie! I Love you Brian. Your music got me and my friends to form rock bands and I learned high harmonies through your album music. Your songs and feelings also got me through some very, very tough teenage times.Thank you. : )
Yes, I still have the CD and will never part with it.
Brian Wilson is a GENIUS
As I wipe the tears from my eyes, all I can say is, Brian has always made the world a better place and especially right now in America we need it. :)
As I wipe my behind after using the potty, all I can say is, Brian is back!
Wonderful! Go Brian .. he is a genius and Al amazing ! Matt Jardine is fantastic....
Brian the great! Gave up his childhood for the rest of us. Did a great job. Great songs, a great man. Thank you Brian
Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys, just perfect!
SUBSCREVO, CARL WILSON MIKE LOVE DENNYS WILSON BRIAN WILSON, ALL JARDINE, BRUCE GREAT BEACH BOYS PETROPOLIS RIO DE JANEIRO BRASIL armandojbarbosa@gmail.com
Brian singing God Only Knows sounded just like decades ago- fantastic!! Al Jardine sounds awesome too! I will forever LOVE The Beach Boys and I hope they keep singing until they drop! Signed, a 1970s California surfer girl!
NOT THE BEACH BOYS
@@garyking6365 Brian wrote most of them, he arranged them, produced the sessions for studio musicians! He is The Beach Boys!
Carl Wilson sang that song until his death.
@@garyking6365 She didn't say it was the Beach Boys... at all. She said she loves the Beach Boys. Ya know... that other band Brian was in?
I didn't see anything like, "I love the Beach Boys, which is the band in this video". Did you?
@@garyking6365really?
It's a shame when someone criticizes a great artist such as Brian Wilson about anything regarding his super music instead of showing humility and giving thanks for being one of the blessed who is of The Beach Boy's time and can enjoy his musical genius. Shame on anyone who spreads negativity on such a great artist and anyone else. Thanks.
and he sounds good
I'm a big fan of Brian's music but people are entitled to voice their opinions dislikes.
Thank you Rick ♥
@@jameshaberkamp5927 and I'm entitled to down vote & criticize their ignorance :D

Brian Wilson extraordinary composer and writer of beautiful songs that have delighted us forever
If only Carl and Dennis were still here to play in this awesome concert
I often dream that Brian Wilson still has another great album in him that he'll share with the world.
Amen brother....dylan did it last decade in spades and McCartney did it twice this decade...Brian has to have one more, I just pray
@@vincentvancraig He did - No Pier Pressure came out about 4 years ago and is pretty great.
I am told by one of the professor's who is studding Brian's song writing, they fond over 100 songs just sitting of the shelf.
@@esolc100 What professor is that?
@@mwthecool Heck I don't remember, years ago. Yale, where I was taking music class, he was gong over the song " I Get Around, " using the original sheet music when studying bridges. Brian moves from one unassociated chord from chorus to final verse back to chorus at the end of the song. At any rate he had visited the original 60's recording equipment and when looking through the various types and sheet's, he said there must have been 100 songs just written and sitting there.
Matt is a gem and enables the incredible Beach Boy sounds to live on. Hope his kids do the same 👍
I could listen to Matt Jardine sing the phone book -- good golly, what a set of pipes (!)
Me and my brother came from Italy by train to see this concert. Great experience.
Yes, Brian... is the one who deserves not only Love and Mercy, but so much respect.
Brian and Al sound great!
One of the greatest groups in the history of rock n' roll. They're of course older but still sound great. This is one of the best live recordings they have ever done. Great audio!
Brian is always amazing, but Al Jardine is brillant
Huh?
@@andrekunkel1520 The rhythm guitar player, and only other original member, Al Jardine.
Matt jar dine carries them all
@Karen Mata actually Al didn't write any top 40 hits for the Beach Boys.
@Karen Mata not only did Al not write any top 40 hits for the Beach Boys, he hardly ever wrote anything at all period. I'm not sure where you got your information from but it is incorrect.
If only Carl were here to sing with Brian! I would literally give almost anything to have been around in the 60s/70s to have listened to /seen them live. I am sad that not until last year, when I saw Love and Mercy, did that officially introduce me to the Beach Boys music and lives. Brian you are a musical genious!
They were magical! Still are actually.
Love Brian Wilson no beach boys without brian
its so great that Brian still performs and gives us a chance to see him live. He is as big as they get in Music,,,right along side Elvis and the Beatles.
OMG you must be tone deft
EVEN BETTER 😉😊🤗
I AM 70 AND I REMEMBER THE WHOLE GROUP STILL GREAT..TKS RON
@Brian Wilson Hello WOW Three years ago I made that statement Not sure if it is really you but Thanks anyway Ron

I am a 39 year old male and I have loved this music since I was five.Good to see that Brian Wilson is still singing at the age of 75. It does not matter to me if his vocals sound different, to me it is how the music affects my mood in such good ways! Brian was the always the amazing singer and songwriter.
I have loved Brian & his band since I was a young teen. I have Pet Sounds & the Holland albums . Still enjoy his music as I did years ago. I can actually hit the high notes that Als' son does. Happy 80th birthday, Brian! Continue providing Inspiration! Imagination is in my CD player right now.
He looks and sounds wonderful
..AND he has GREAT HAIR!!!❤
“This is the first song I ever wrote” it’s melodically one of the best tracks ever laid down. He could have been singing about checking his mail and it would still be perfect.
C'est toujours du bonheur d'entendre Brian Wilson et Al Jardin, parfois ça fait du bien ! Merci pour ce rayon de soleil dans la nuit !
Brian's voice is one in a trillion
Yeah, and how old was he when he first put it on vinyl? Secondly, there are lots of imitators, but NO one can hold a candle...not even Frankie Valli
I wouldn't consider his vocals to be his best quality. His musical genius is in his compositions, productions, and arrangements... plus all the instruments. I really enjoyed him on bass, he moved across it with little effort.
@@rebeccav9969 I agree, I like an enjoy his older shows but he like all performers lose something with age. Never enjoyed falsetto until the BB
I saw Brian Wilson RL Jardine two years ago in concert they put on a really really good show it was worth every penny
Nice to see him Healthy and touring again.
Absolutely, Shawn...and I’m hoping and praying his tour still goes ahead in 2021! 🙂
Darian made this possible. Thanks for bringing Brian back to such a high level of live performance! Wondermintaful!
I'm glad to hear that his falsetto is still intact after all he's been through. What a great concert!
1:48 That is MATT JARDINE hitting the high notes, falsetto voice, in this concert!
maybe old in their body but forever young in their heart.
It just blesses my heart to see him "at it" again!
Very impressive performance. Brian looks and sounds very good. Matt sounds like dad did in his younger days. Really enjoyed this concert.
If only Carl Wilson were still here to sing "God Only Knows".
" God Only Knows " was Carl's song to sing. No one has or can sing it better
"God Only Knows" and "Good Vibrations" were Carl's signature songs, and John Armata, I agree no one can sing it better than Carl.
Brian Sam right! the voice of an Angel they called it.
Brian Sam I can't disagree with that, but brian wrote it, so he does capture the spirit of his brother....
Norfolk Enchants So?
they are playing all their hits...oh wait, everything they wrote were hits....that is all they got!
Oh man! So glad I found this concert. Brian, Al, Matt, and the rest of this outstanding Band, I thank you with all my heart!
Just a bunch of amazing dudes and one living legend, rocking out and having fun. Everybody here is blessed to be part of such an amazing show, performing some of the most unbelievable music every written in the history of music. Thank You Brian. ❤️
Brings tears to my eyes. They've still got it.
You are loved by millions Brian. We see the sweet wonderful man that you are. Thank you and happy 80th. I am moved to near tears by the love for Brian on this thread. You've all said so many things that I feel too. There is no way to adequately express the love and happiness that you've given us
Some amazing musicians on that stage supporting Brian, creating a good all round sound.
AMAZING HARMONY! GOAT! Brian Wilson looks and sounds better than many decades! Bravo to the whole band! Not to mention BOTH Jardines!!! My GOD you guys sound incredible! MASTERFUL ALL!
*I remember watching them on American Bandstand when I was 10 y/o - they sang acapella wearing suits & ties. Then when I was 16 I saw them in concert with stripped shirts and guitars. A great group brought a lot of happiness to a lot of kids!*
Matt, you're shockingly true to form, every note. And I do have all those notes in my head... Till I die. Awesome.
Al Jardine has not aged at all, he is a vampire. His voice is still great!
Lets not overdue it. We all age. He looks good and he's aged. We love him.
Brian Wilson's Beach Boys, made summer a brilliant time off the year. Cause summer is nothing without Brian's genius song writing & music .Thank You
I love how Brian is anouncing each song before it plays. So inspiring. I know he's very much proud of the music he created
You said it!
More music in one concert then any ten others at once...Beautiful

Love this guy.. Hes an incredible songwriter, musician and has given us so many wonderful songs that we still sing today. Hes also a survivor and has overcome so much in his life over the years.
Brian really made it!! "That's not me" was just brilliant. Love the fact that Brian is surrounded by so talented people.
unbelievable version of wild honey starting at 11:50. blondie chaplin is a treasure
Agree! Blondie was on fire! ❤
Wow, I'm impressed how good Brian sounds.
sounds a little doctored...
@Rabbi Goldschlong yes. he's miming to vocals from a 2002 concert
@@lewisbracken5520 I bet they just flew them in later. Otherwise I don't think they would've had Matt cover all of the high parts, since back in 2002, Brian sang those.
@@lewisbracken5520 It seems to me like he's only miming on a few songs. On Wouldn't It Be Nice he's 100% singing for real.
@@lewisbracken5520sometimes. But not all the time. Cuz he comes in late and stuff. Changes words.
Love and Mercy are what we need. Thank you Brian for putting it to music. Hope everyone is listening!!! EVERYONE!
Brian Wilson a modern day Mozart. One of a kind .
This was so great hearing Brian singing Brians lead vocals.
Thank you Mr. Wilson for many years of great music
It is amazing how this music ties together generations, cultures, people from all walks of life. At 63, having seen the Real Beach boys in concert several times, and having owned their music since I was 10, I feel like they represent a huge part of the soundtrack of my life.
The memories of growing up in the 70's in Southern California, their concert at Anaheim Stadium, in 1976, when you performed with the band again..it was magic...the music..it always comes back to the music.
Do the memories drive the music, or does the music drive my memories...both I think.
Brian, please know that you are a National Treasure, and that your music is timeless, and will be pulling people together long after all of us are gone. Thank you for sharing your gift with us, I will always be thankful for having been a 16 yr old old in 1975.
Amen.
It's nice to remember a different time, Lord help us today, we are so lost...
Brian Wilson can still make albums and tour better than most of any new musicians now. A true legend and genius. Beach Boys Forever!!!
True but no one buys them LOL
Not true..I love him.but his albums have ups and downs...no appeal to audience and not clear at all wetjee he does or bot rhjnfs on it

Brian is a true musical genius. God bless him. May he continue to write and perform for many more years. We love him.
