Talk about some difficult truths, here is one: The Minivan is the best vehicle, ever.
Granted maybe not for everyone, but man are they amazing. From all of the normal stuff like reliability, safety and comfort, to all of the rad stuff like being able to shoot out of them, haul tons of stuff and go off road. Such a great vehicle...

I distinctly remember during the 2020 riots seeing US Marshals rolling around in minivans. They ripped out the jump seats in the middle and turned it into a snatch van. Pull up, slide door open, roll up the suspect, and zip away in like 15 seconds.
“Got 15 in the sprinter van, that’s how a shooter fit rolls.”
Never underestimate the ingenuity of a group of state sanctioned thugs.
Hood rat stuff
Gross. F those guys.
I was astounded at the amount of minivans you would see parked outside where the ranger battalion guys were.
As a contractor I started in a Caravan and then moved up to a truck, and then quickly realized the mini van was more capable in carrying material and tools than the truck is.
In 2006 I was at a place in A'Stan where Navy SEALs were also working. They had locally acquired Toyota mini vans for use in the urban area nearby. It was amusing to see this little jingle van roll in and see a bunch of guys come out. It was like a Tier One rodeo clown car.
A few years back when you put out the request for audio cassettes for your ghetto blaster, I sent you a box full. I'd like to think that that's my old AC/DC tape that's stuck in there.
IT IS! Flick of the Switch! :)
@@KitBadger That makes me happy!
I'm a minivan man for life. They're just so practical, I'm on my third so far. My first was almost exactly like yours, including the slipping transmission, except in blue.
I myself am a minivan fan. Honda odyssey, and a Toyota sienna are two awesome vans!!
Sienna go hard and long lol
@contingencyibct3120 agreed.
I still remember the old US Army commercials, “to think some guy somewhere is buying a minivan…” 😂
When i was shopping for my sienna, an equally equiped highlander was 10% more. It had less room, less payload, etc. It was like they were charging a tax to not drive a minivan.
Damn, I think I'm sold on a minivan as my next vehicle.
Couldn't agree more, been running a £400 mk4 golf estate with 250,000 miles on it. Never let me down, easy to work on, good around the farm, can sleep in it, shoot out of it, shoot on the roof, move stuff, people. Even dragged a range rover out a snowy ditch.
People still regularly ask when I'm going to replace it. Not quite a mini van but fills the same role for me
Down here in LA 'you are what you drive', and for most people that means 'in debt'.
The video we truly wanted and deserved.
The A-Team had a minivan. Enough said.
Holy shit I forgot about the A-team... fuck yes!
A-Team
TMNT
Mystery Machine
Dumb & Dumber Mutt’s Cutts
Lots of cool vans!
Love the ego check at the intro. Good stuff.
I had a Nissan NV200 for work, absolutely loved that thing. It was relatively fuel efficient, surprisingly roomy for how tiny it was, had rims sized properly for commercial grade tires and would have an engine braking feature for when you were hauling heavy loads
This may be my favorite video ever.... like ever ever 😆
the "stale crackers and baby wipes" comment cracked me up because it's true!!! My kids are teenagers now but when they little we had two different mini vans and they were always full of crumbs from various snacks and baby wipe boxes were in every door panel! I got a good laugh out of this video. Thanks!!!
I have a Chrysler town and country. It is awesome man. I have floor storage. I can also fold the seats down into that floor storage if needed and haul stuff around. It rocks
The transmission is a known issue on that era of Chrysler van . . . super easy fix, though. Lot of inherited stuff from when Daimler owned them . . . trans. is basically a Mercedes automatic that is controlled by easily accessible solenoids and a main board. Change the filter and fluid and when you drop the pan you will see the board -- you can get solenoids or just the whole board for short money new and you will be back in business. Literally really simple DIY job. Check the online forums for details -- the engines are rock solid on those but the transmissions are serviceable.
mini vans are next level tactical. jump out boy, ultra grey man! love my nissan quest. wish it was a sienna tho!
Bro, I had a Chrysler Town & Country and OMG.... The ONLY downfall to that thing was it would get stuck in fields after it rained. Otherwise I used that thing like an APC. I was an airsofting dork back then (thanks, children) and we'd load up the team fully kitted out, roll in with both side doors locked open, BBs blazing before boots were even on the ground lol . Plus the sound system in that thing was SICK. Definitely better load capacity than my friggin ZJ (but at least Bruf doesn't get stuck in wet fields). . . . BTW headliner is an easy maybe $30 job and a couple hours in the driveway at most - and totally worth it; will make that old thing feel brand new XD
This is. Internet GOLD
Mini vans fo life!!!!!
Best urban assault vehicle out there! Actually I'm currently looking for a mini van for my growing family. Going to lift it a tad for the snow storms and put some high quality all weather tires on it.
The next generation of town and countries came standard with an entertainment package. It’s pretty sweet rolling to and from a day at the range with three to five of your buddies riding in comfort, all of the gear, and targets/stands/barricades loaded (along with refreshments) while “Ronin” or “Heat” is playing on the foldout televisions.
The keyless entry and dual doors is a game changer as well. Especially when you have younger children. The car next to you looks sketchy? Guess what kids, let’s all hop in on one side of the van. We need to quickly get in the van? I can pop both side doors while we’re walking up, and as my oldest is climbing in, I can remotely close her door while I load my youngest.
All of the major manufacturers have similar levels of reliability and like you said; you can get much further off the road than you’d expect. Some of that is thanks to FWD, but also some of it is being more cautious with your driving because it’s a minivan. Either way, I’d say there’s not many places in North America you can’t get to in a minivan.
And for the rest, Toyota did make an AWD version of their Sienna, and it will take a 1” lift.
Im after a cheap used minivan. I drive a suburban and love it even tho its 20 years old. My other vehicle is a 93 Wrangler YJ with only a bikini top. I need something with the YJs mileage and the room of the suburban. Which is a minivan.
I lived in Utah most my life and Mormon's are masters at saving money and transporting children around and that state is filled to the brim with minivans. So kit badger is probably right about this.
Minivans are dope💯
Honestly… I have been heavily contemplating picking one up. I have 3 young kids. Our current suv is just too small and crammed plus has a payment on it. My wife had a van issued to her for her job which involves a lot of back logging road and trail driving and her van handled all of that great. After driving it myself and seeing all the space in that thing I started growing interest in mini vans. This video just hardened my stance to pick one up for all the reasons you stated. I like the ultimate gray man approach because no one expects a bunch of well equipped dudes to roll up on you with a soccer mom mini van.
I want to buy a 2nd vehicle that’s better on gas mileage since I now have a longer commute…I hadn’t even considered a minivan. You make a solid argument though!
I drive a Chevy Express 3500 passenger van. It’s a beast. One ton chassis with a 6.0 Vortec motor. 🤙
Caravans with stow and go storage or the Toyota Sienna (super reliable) AWD option. Gray man, stealth camper, troop carrier,...
Can’t beat the price you scored that one…. However, Gotta have that ground clearance to drive over bodies in today’s threat environment 😏
If you like vans check out the Mitsubishi Delica Space Gear.
It’s based on the Mitsubishi Pajero 4x4 so it has full time 4x4 with a center locking diff and a two speed transfer case with a small 2.8 liter diesel engine. Freaking sweet.
Ive worked in full size vans most of my career and have owned 4 min-vans in the last 20 years. Im 💯 sold on vans.
Have big mini van love! I would go w a model I could put an Ursa Minor pop top camper on like a Transit.
Dang it! These were a best kept secret! All the minivan prices are going to go higher now.
Had a 1999 Toyota Sienna we bought used. Had it several years before it got totaled in a wreck. Best vehicle I've ever had
Awesome video
Dying😂. Great homage.
I wasn't a willing victim, but my wife needed a wheelchair van after a battle with leukemia- we went with a really basic Chevy Uplander modified by Braun into an Entervan( floor pan dropped 10",cargo/ wheelchair tiedowns, bedliner floor, fold down side ramp etc) . It's like having a ground version of a Huey, and 18 years later the thing just keeps going. There are things I hate about it,but at the same time I can't imagine living without it. A lot of wheelchair vans get retired after a couple of years because the resale is good and the owners aren't the healthiest- if you can get your hands on one the cargo space is freaking amazing!
Seriously. I love our minivan. When we outgrow or upgrade the family vehicle, I’m lifting it and taking it for myself. 2008 Toyota Sienna AWD for the win.
Seen a whole armed unit pop out of them on the highway plenty of times lol
Soccer mom thangs
"But I might..." with the mischievous grin...
****ing awsome.
Vans are preactical and can hold a lot. A lot of real work get done with vans. The lifted trucks with short and jacked up beds are for pure ego and vanity
Your dad did a Awesome job with the pinstriping.
Is that a hobby or his profession ? Either Great Job ! 👍
I love my Toyota Sienna!! Buddies made fun of me when I got and now majority of ‘em wanted to get a minivan as they’re family growing.
We've been looking for a higher mileage minivan with AWD for a while. Put some more aggressive all season or light truck tires on there, remove all the seats, and G2G. It's a truck except all your shjt stays dry. My beater Frontier is getting up there in miles and I use it on the farm so I'd like to keep it for several more years. A minivan makes a great work vehicle. Also a great "work" vehicle.
I daily drive a white Tucson, the modern soccer mom mobile. Absolutely no will expect the back be holding anything tactical. Even my coworkers are surprised when they peak back there and see just a casual SPC. "YOU CAN OWN BODY ARMOR?!?!?"
Transplants and practical cars, digin the vibes.
Very subtle and grey-man-ish too.
I seen her around, she does blend in quite nicely.
I love minivans. I have had two. A Toyota Sienna and a Kia Sedona. They are great cars. Add a receiver hitch and you can tow heavy/large things. And when running empty you get good fuel economy. With good snow tires, or even chains, the traction will easily surpass the ground clearance. Take all the seats out and there is a ton of room to sleep inside too. Just looks like another car in the parking lot.
Also you can get a tow package on a van and if it's a six+ cylinder you could basically tow anything.
The minivan in the movie The Jackal is the ultimate minivan!
Love our minivan. And a 100% grey man ride.
And if you’re familiar with Dexter, it gave him room for a body. 😎
I loath nothing more than minivan soccer moms. They park so close to you that sure their spawn can be ejected from the vehicle but I cannot open my door to get in…in those moments I too have considered pulling the plate, scratching the vin and popping a flare inside a minivan😂
You can live in a minivan too if you must - way more comfortably than most other vehicles.
We’ve been using one for work in Ukraine the last few months and it’s doing great
Pro Tip: Never buy a used car from Ivan... 😃
Ivan - it might be good to work those headlight lenses over. You can double the value again...
There is nothing more fun than a functional vehicle that you don't really care about.
The m1078 does everything this does but better besides the grey man part😂
Unfortunately I can't separate my ego from my vehicle so I drive a civic. My dad however has no idea how to care for a vehicle so his 2002 Odyssey is a great fit. Just starting to rust a bit but otherwise amazing.
Great video bro. Your boys will understand when they get older.
Minivans are the shit. I call mine the Family Tactical Vehicle. It’s silly, but I’ve fit everything in there from a family of five to a Christmas tree and a full-size door frame.
Can't debate the logic.
All you have to do is watch Mr and Mrs Smith to see the value of dual sliding doors… I expect to see a reenactment review on that one. 👍
Man, I personally love my prius. I can keep bug out and get home stuff in there with space for my 6'2" ass to sleep laying down and have it all tucked away and unseen. And out here in the county, no one expects gear in a prius. Especially when I stop to get gas or food on my way to the range. I've taken it in on some sketchy dirt mountain roads and off road to go shooting.
Ivan....welcome to the Minivan Mafia!!!!
Really depends on where you live and where you drive. Way too low to the ground for winter around here.
I've been considering a van for range day/tactical days lol
I love my Honda Odyssey, I've always said its way more grey man then any other vehicle. Toyota even makes an AWD Sienna.
If you can get the ac/dc tape out you can add a tape that lets you use an aux cord
You really should drop that on a 4x4 truck frame! For your wild country driving!
mini vans are the ultimate sleepers
All it needs is a MK-19 turret on the roof.
👏👏👏
The Dodge caravan is extremely under rated and under estimated.
AC/DC stuck in the tape deck only adds value to the ride.
BDE On this one 😂👍
Does anybody know where a person could get their minivan uparmored? Asking for a friend.
It's really called a tactical urban assault vehicle, or that's what mine is called
All that’s missing is some truck nuts for that there mini van. LOL
This is the biggest troll/truth bomb so many people need to hear.
I dont have kids bit i added a stickers on the passenger doors that says "park at your own risk i have kids and they will ding your car"
WIth the rise of the small SUV these are the last cheap wheels you can get.
Prob shouldn't say this because of availability but Honda Fits are mini vans for single people.
I just don't appreciate minivans, in the sense that I do not enjoy driving things like that. If you want to talk practicality and "come what may", the Hilux kindof takes the cake, IMO. The Minivan doesn't handle, doesn't accelerate, isn't efficient. The last time I drove a minivan, it was helping some soccer mom get the thing up my steep driveway after she insisted on taking her "mommy wagon" down it against my advice to come sell me some AFLAC policy, lol!
Sounds like you need to try another one man. My 01 sienna out accelerates all my friends new turbo econoboxes and handles great. Amazing turning circle, decent stability, etc. Plus I was able to move cross country without renting a trailer etc.
@@marcusborderlands6177 My suv does 0-60 in under 3 and a half seconds. Your minivan will need a lot to keep up.
Cheap car means more money for ammo.
You need to Pimp Yo Mini-Ride! Get you some shag carpet! A party ball, in the ceiling! A night vision periscope! Some armored side curtains. A 50 cal. on a tripod, between the 2 sliding doors! Oh, and a Playstation for some headrest monitors!
P.S. We need 6 - 15 inch woofers and a 5,000 watt stereo system, in dis biatch too!
Some real life shit goin on here.
No they are not cool but are insanely practical. Moving between houses, hauling motorcycles, air mattress in the back for a quick camper. I've got lots of use out of minivans.
Practical is cool.
Shit would get stuck 30 yards into my hunting lease lmao
Only cool thing is the double sliding door. Otherwise I'd rather have a full size conventional van or old suburban
#hiddenvin :)
…but i might 😂
The best vehicle is the cheapest one you can send it in I’ve seen shitty 2wd rangers go far asf into trails and a gran marquis right behind it …
