Great video once again GB. It has reignited my thoughts on a KOP expansion, I believe they could. Houses opposite the KOP are derelict, and there is plenty of open ground. Perhaps rebuild the church on some of that open land but if it was a 150-200-year-old church then no. They would have to re-route the road and that is probably the main stumbling point but not a deal breaker! The next problem would be deciding what to build, a single or two tier stand, adding up to 10,000 extra seats!
@@greybeardmedia-merseysidebey I loved the 70s teams. We got to see some amazing things and amazing players. What a time to be a young lad on the Spion Kop.
Thanks for that update and nice tribute to Peter Cormack. I saw him play in the 70s . I think the bricks will bleed salt for a while so may be washed later again or the end of the season before the concerts so it looks smart xx
GB, as you seem to like also doing non-drone videos and Anfield transportation videos, I reckon their will be fans (home and away) who would be interested in seeing videos of where to pick up 917 at Commutation Row in relation to Lime Street Station. Perhaps travelling on it and showing where it drops off on Oakfield Road, near The Sandon pub. You’d then have to show and point out the return journey picking up stop at Walton Lane. Perhaps you could walk from the Kop along Walton Breck Road, and another from Main Stand/ Anfield Road Stand via Anfield Road, though I’d point out the Back Rockfield Road and/or Rockfield Road route. The latter would be useful if you also did a video showing the Soccerbus to and from Sandhills. As a Main Stand Season ticket holder, I’m used to using both the mentioned bus journeys to and from the ground. I think both routes start 2 hours before kick off.
Nice tribute to Peter Cormack, GB. Peter was a valued member of Mr Shanky's second great team. Had the pleasure of watching Peter play from the Kop and some years ago I had the privilege of meeting Peter. God Bless and RIP.
