    Excelent video, I like how the ideas you throw here aren't super advanced magical DAX tricks but do make a difference in the overall reports with a fair amount of creativity. Keep it up!

      @@havenscr Same...I do this exact thing. The Tooltips are the way to go for sure. So much easier to maintain. I avoid bookmarks at all costs if possible.

    Top video and very helpful, but I still do have a little question, where do the graphics for the little arrows in the tooltip come from ?

    Great tip and clearly explained as always, thank you.
    Would you mind advising who created your video intro ? like it ;)

      Hi there, I commissioned an artist on Fiverr.com to create it. They have a lot of artists for video intro creations. 🙂

    Thank you for this great video.
    One question though, when you have many visuals in a report, creating one tooltip page for each visual can be really tideous.
    Would there be a way to put a small (i) icon/button on the bottom side of the screen that, when hovered by the user, it would show a single big tool tip page that would be overlaying the current page with a bit of transparency and having boxes over each visual with the relevant explanation?

      I found the answer in the comments below ("use the card visual"). Thanks!

      The problem though is that tooltip pages can't have a set transparency to my understanding. If you find a way to do that though, let me know!

      @@HavensConsulting you're right... Unfortunately... 🙂

    Hi! Is it possible to do the same with a button instead?

    • @HavensConsulting
      @HavensConsulting  4 года назад

      Currently report tooltips aren't supported on buttons. However, you can add them to the single value card visual. So one workaround would be to create a card with the text to make it "Look" like a button, then add a report tooltip to it. Hope this helps!

      @@HavensConsulting Thanks for answering!!!
      Sorry one more question: is it possible to make the visual header (?) always visible? Not just when hovering over it?
