- Pokémon had never seen such rockin' 80's music until Pokémon Sun and Moon came along and brought along Vast Poni Canyon. This track is one of the best 80's jams in the entire Pokémon franchise, and I'm happy to present my saxophone jazz cover / remix of it! Thanks to my bro Swiggles RP for providing some guitar on very short notice!

This was the first song I heard from Pokémon Sun & Moon that made my jaw drop. Seriously, Vast Poni Canyon is that good of a tune. Vast Poni Canyon's music had some fun 80's vibes to it with an awesome pan flute lead, and a killer bass groove. While I think the OST of Pokémon Sun & Moon OST is surprisingly hit or miss, Vast Poni Canyon is definitely one of the stand-out tunes for me, personally. I hope you all dig my jazz arrangement of Pokémon Sun & Moon's Vast Poni Canyon :D

I actually traded my Charjabug to my brother who already finished the game in order to evolve it into a Vikavolt. But Vast Poni Canyon's theme is still a gift upon this world.
Charjabug really should be able to evolve earlier in the game :p

Owen5gs Naw it is so slow
It never gets to use it. It is not bulky enough to live more then one hit and it honestly does not hit hard enough. You do around 2/3s to anything with decent bulk and it is bot fast enough to finish something off. It really needed a good priority move.

Magnemite was totally worth it. Eviolite Magneton was really, really good. Was actually kinda sad to see it evolve.
Fighterman481 It is fast too so it is a useful mon. Magnizone is solid too. It gives you just the kick of power to help out at the end game.

Lillie most overrated Pokemon character ever. I mean she is cute and all as a growing character, but why is she so loved?
Odrareg17 Because you go with her trough all her problems. You have the possibility to know how does she feel and you see how she goes trough all her problems with Lusamine and her past. I really like Lillie because she was the trigger of your adventure and you mostly ended it with her. She evolves during the story and that is rarely seen in Pókemon.

I know this is a 5 year old video but I've been going back through your old stuff since you announced you were stopping and I felt like I needed to comment on this one in particular for the fact that not only have you done a phenomenal job with it (as you always have) but it stands to me as I couldn't even remember this track or part of the game to be honest but I absolutely adore this piece and have kept going back to it over and over and just can't get enough of it. Also it has to be said that SwigglesRP's funky bass was a brilliant choice of a feature. He took this to an even greater level.

insaneintherainmusic what if I told you I used both, would it sound impressive? And I mean on the same team, for my first run through. I was so confused, so I looked it up, and debated switching team members, but doing it that late in the game was pointless. Let me tell you vikavolt was the best member on my team hands down, he was the clean up crew.
You tortured yourself for so much of the game... actually Crabrawler wasn't too hard to use during the main story. Once it learned Crabhammer things got a lot easier!
insaneintherainmusic charjabug isn't hard to use either because its got amazing coverage. it knew spark, bug bite, acrobatics, and crunch. plus it had nice defenses, so he could last quite a bit.
Oh hell no. i put eviolite on that thing and it tanked anything i had to face. I ended up having mixed feelings about evolving it.

I just got to Vast Poni Canyon in the game and I was blown away.
So blown away that just as soon as I got to the area, I shut off the game, turned on my laptop and came here to see how you'd make it 10 times better.
And frankly by now I've got a greater chance of catching a shiny than disliking your music.

Well, guess I'm gonna need some new headphones after this one... Geez, man, are you serious with this right now?! Let's start with all your sax chords in the background. The tuning and mixing of those are just sublime. Swiggles' guitar playing, both the rhythm chords and solo, is fantastic, exactly what you would want for a tune like this. Same for the bass, just perfect with it's funky counter-melodic taste. Electric piano rocking the chords for that extra flavor. Lead sax just killing it, drums/percussion on point...

I absolutely love this song, and the entire soundtrack of Sun and Moon might be my favorites of the entire series. I love how you took the funky aspect of the song, and just exaggerated it with Swiggles to fit your style, and it absolutely works! It definitely would be awesome to hear this while playing the game.
