- 4 Weeks Pregnant | Early Ultrasound and Ectopic Pregnancy Scare? I had my first ultrasound -- sharing both my 4 week 4 days ultrasound AND my 5 week ultrasound photos. I also share my early HCG levels and week 4 pregnancy symptoms (which means only 2 weeks after conception). I explain our ectopic pregnancy scare which was due to free fluid in abdomen on my 4 week ultrasound.

Kindly guide me what can I do 😭 I'm 2 weeks pregnant but my Dr said she didn't see anything in ultrasound and I have supporting brown discharge last 6 days with no pain .
Ladies i have 5 kids and this is my 6th when i went to docs at 4 weeks and 6 days and they only seen the sac but nothing else ( which is completely normal at this early stage smh) but i thought the way the tech treated me and was like i dont see anything and i had to tell her to look transvaginal smh and they seen only the sac but the way these techs and docs act is down right discouraging. I had to remind them i have had five kids and i have zero issues getting pregnant and that is the only reason they changed their tune and was like u are extremely early and wont see nothing but the sac at this time and the sac alone is a great sign . Two weeks later at 6 weeks and 6 days they seen the baby smh LADIES do not let these techs and docs make u feel a certain way. The best of planners is GOD . Trust in him. I hope this helps
Your comment has helped me alot sister. I am going through the same situation. Its my first child and i am so scared. Went to the doc at 4th week and 4 days and she behaved the same, disappointed. I am so scared now and hoping that everything is normal on my next visit. Please pray for me 😢😢

Going through the same thing about 4 weeks now and they see nothing... not even a sac, but I've had several positive pregnancy tests... idk what to think at this point

Me too!I just found out I was pregnant and it was a possible ectopic pregnancy as well- still waiting to get the clear for a safe pregnancy but I pray that everything is going well for you!

@@trellanyb.4797 heyy.. so unfortunately I was informed I had an ectopic pregnancy and had to have emergency surgery last Sunday ..but I am recovering from surgery pretty well and can still conceive so maybe one day soon I’ll have a smooth and successful pregnancy🤍
Just took a pregnancy test and I have 2 stronger lines!!! ❤️❤️❤️🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 going to patient first in the morning to confirm what the Lord has done and soon after schedule a doctors appt with my OBGYN. IM SO EXCITED!!! We’ve been praying to conceive baby number 2 for 5 years!! My 8 year old is so excited!!!

I'm having the same worry right now with either being too early or ectopic pregnancy. I pray that my pregnancy will be just fine as yours. I will have my next tvs on the next 2 weeks. Praying that the gestational sac will be seen on my uterus and praying for a healthy , normal pregnancy. 🙏
Omg thank you for posting this and congratulations on your birth! My Bf and I went to the hospital last week and they told me I miss carried and to follow up with the Dr. within 1-3 days it took me about a week to get an appointment setup and they were setting me up to remove “whatever was left” of the pregnancy because my hCG levels were too low at the hospital a 600ml. Took my blood and today they were at a 6,000ml and we seen a yolk sack and we had to reevaluate when we conceived. Very hectic and stressful week! Omg so scary! Have hope and faith and DONT GO TO A HOSPITAL FOR ULTRASOUNDS!

I know this was 2 years ago but I just had my first ultrasound and I’m between 4w6d and 5w2d but not sure. My ultrasound shows the gestational sac (a little larger than what was on yours) but this video made me feel so much relief! Congrats on the new baby, hope all is well!
What was your beta levels at your first ultrasound
I had my appointment at 4weeks last Thursday ( I think I’m 4weeks) . And she said she didn’t see anything. I got crazy scared about the situation but she did a HCG test and I was just 250 and it turned out I’m super early. Will wait until next week to check again and your story gave me hope and I’m praying for the best!

I’m currently 4 weeks and can’t wait for my appointment in 3 weeks to finally tell me they see my baby/babies . I have panic/anxiety attacks and can’t sleep because the Drs and nurses pessimistic and negative vibes but I’m trying to stay strong and keep positive
Yes! Stay strong and stay positive! Honestly I don’t know what the deal is but it seems as if some doctors love delivering “bad” news. It’s very odd but God is greater! I’m praying for you and your beautiful blessings! May you be surrounded with love!!💘💘💘

This is exactly why we have a law in the US that ultrasound techs can’t give the patient any information. I’m sorry you had to experience that. But I’m glad everything turned out well and you have a healthy baby boy ✨❤️
Patients have the right to know what’s going on I would rather be scared than be in the dark
@@aminakasomali5149 Yess but it's the doctors job to tell you the results. Telling you guys your results can result with us losing our job. Trust me there have been so many times we wish to tell you. But we just can't.

Soo happy I found this video. I had a rushed trip to the er a couple days ago due to stabbing pain in my abdomen towards my groin and ended up finding out I was pregnant with my first baby - at first they thought it was ectopic due to some bleeding and although they’re not extremely concerned it will be, I’m going in for a follow-up tomorrow and I’m soo nervous! I just pray I have a healthy pregnancy and baby but it’s comforting to know there’s other mommies and soon to be mommies going through this scary experience.
May I ask if you have a update? I'm currently 4weeks they didn't see anything in my ultrasound. I was also experiencing some pain in my pelvic and ovary so now I'm alittle nervous that it's either a miscarriage or ectopic

So unfortunately I ended up having an ectopic pregnancy and having one of my Fallopian tubes removed (it had burst and I had about half a liter of blood just sitting in me and although you can’t tell from my profile picture, I’m 5’4” about 120 pounds so it really affected me -- another symptom I had was loss of appetite (caused me to lose a little weight). It was a tough experience that still doesn’t feel real to me almost a couple months later but my boyfriend and I plan to start trying again at the end of this year 🙂 praying for you and your pregnancy! Please don’t let my unfortunate experience scare you!

Thanks for this video. Im relieved and gives more hope. I went to my OBGYN and i am 4 weeks pregnant now. The scan ultrasound didn't see anything on my tummy. And the OB said maybe there's possible that I lose my baby I was shocked and made me cry because of what she told me. It's heart breaking. This is my first baby.

OMG THANK YOUUU SOOO MUCHHH !!! I just went to the ER 2 days ago and I have cried myself to sleep ever since then because they told me I had an ectopic pregnancy or a miscarriage so I’ve been searching for answers and they all came back something completely different than what I was told so I spoke to an obgyn and they made an appointment for me and I am so scared and nervous the ob gave me some confirmation that it could be false but I still have to wait to take an ultrasound and I was so nervous until I just seen this 😢😢

This video really helped me. Because it was so similar to my situation. I was feeling cramps, chills and lower back pain. I was told to go to ER by the urgent care clinic I went to. They did an ultra sound and found no gestational sac. I’m only about 3-4weeks. With an hcg of 1,900. I have to do the waiting game and go back to have my levels checked in 2 day. I’m so stressed and sad. So this video helped calm me a little. Thank you!

I also went to take the ultrasound at four weeks but i have no idea about my pregnancy coz i got my periods (actually its five days late) and the doctor said that its an ectopic pregnancy in tube and they really scared me by saying the same things like if u feel pain or more bleeding then its a dangerous situation so i got admitted to the hospital.. hopefully i am alive (my HCG level was 1900 and the embryo sac was around 1 cm ) they removed it by simple injections and now am fine and hope will get pregnant soon .. sometimes we have to trust the ultrasound..

I had my ultrasound today n my doctor says I'm 4 weeks n 6 days.
We jus saw a sac only.
I thought I'm 7 weeks. But my doc confirmed I'm 4w6d.

How big was the sac please? Mine now is 3mm
I’m 3 weeks and some days and they scheduled me for prenatal visit ASAP because at emergency room my blood pressure was high and they did an ultrasound and saw a lil sac and my baby is in the right spot.The nurse practitioner scared me after I told her I had some bleeding so that’s how I got my ultra sound but everything is so far so good.I’m glad everything went well.

Thankyou for explaining the free fluid, I had the exact same issue and when they were explaining free fluid it was confusing 😭 and I couldn’t find any info on it anywhere, it’s because most women go 6+ weeks plus so they’ve already past that stage
Hey, the doctor said the same thing to me about free fluid, that it is a sign of concern and I am really tensed. I am also 4 weeks 3 days. Maybe it’s too early.
Not going too early can actually turn worst nightmares true. My wife went through this and it was life threatening and we did not know anything about it and it was 8 weeks when right tube burst and all while we were travelling. Its better keep to get checked every 2 weeks so that If anything unusual would come to light in time before its too late.

So Ultrasound tech literally should not be diagnosing anything. So glad the Doc was able to clear your nerves
Literally just experienced the same thing yesterday, just without the free fluid. Def gave me a sense of relief to hear that Im not alone! The Doctor told me the same thing that I could either be really early or ectopic or a miscarriage. Praying that my levels go up and we see baby on the next ultrasound!

Going through this right now and kinda freaked out. I went to the hospital the other day and received an ultrasound and the tech said nothing was there and I was experiencing spotting/bleeding and cramps. I’m going to the doctor tomorrow and I hope the outcome is different and they can see a sac. Pray for me 🙏🏾

I went to the Emergency room last night for cramps (already knowing I'm pregnant but not knowing how far along I am my first ob appointment is about 20 days from the day I went to the ER) they did an ultra sound and told me they couldn't see anything and I started freaking out they were telling me it is normal I was getting scared how could that possibly be normal?! ; I'm having cramps and now they can't see my baby?! Turns out I'm only 4 weeks today, after watching your video I've decided to keep my first ob appointment date even though it's a ways away so I can actually have something to see. I went to the hospital had neg blood and urine but something was showing on the ultrasound. They basically said i was delusional. I am so frustrated. I know something is going on but they just acted like i was nuts. Hopefully i get a pos result soon.

I also went in on Thursday for my first ultrasound, found out I’m 4weeks 5days and my OBGYN also couldn’t find anything and blurted the question of if I ever had and ectopic pregnancy and I have not thank god 2 live births . So he scheduled me an appointment in two weeks but he left me stressing and overthinking if it can be, but I have no pain or symptoms . I pray to god it just was too early too see the sac 🙁 but he also had me sitting up instead of laying down on my back for the ultrasound which I found that odd. I hope that was a factor as well.

Everything was fine its just from what I understood its best to wait when you are at least 5 weeks or more for an ultrasound to show ,everything went well and had my baby girl on January 2023

i had an ultrasound today after positive test. and im 4 weeks and its just a blip, a Dot. Super small. Its crazy how fast they grow in 2 weeks. going back for 6 wk scan
This is why ultrasound technician are NOT supposed to diagnose! Or tell the patient any information that they noticed/ find… All of your emotions and scary thoughts could have been prevented, because in the end everything worked out okay.

My HCG is over 2000 and I’m testing 2-3 pregnant, my periods are irregular so they can’t tell how far along I am. The baby isn’t also showing on my transvaginal scan! Really worried, keep me in your prayers 🤲🏽🤍

Few years later, but I just found this movie and thank you for that. I'm just after first ultrasound where my doctor didn't see anything, just bigger endometrium. I'm waiting for another test on Monday to see if my beta hcg is rising properly and it's very stressful time for me now, so this movie gives me some peace. Thanks!
My condition is- missed periods(15,16 days up), negative hpt, ultrasound didn't showed anything, just a big and thick endometrium. 😓

I was diagnosed with PCOS and then with adenomyosis then with endometriosis then they told me I had a yeast infection I just don’t know what to think to be honest 😢😢 did you have endometriosis??
And this is exactly my situation too, pregnancy test was positive, though the test line is so faint, went for an ultra sound scan, and they told me my endometrium is thick, but no sac yet. I am so scared. I hope everything turns out okay at my 8-week appointment
Yup, just did an ultrasound at 4 weeks and I'm stressed. It's IVF so that's why they did it.
I’m 24 days late and worried as I have a baby belly on me I’m so skinny in person and I’m worried becuase my blood test came back negative yet I have done 7 pregnancy tests which are positive so I’m so scared right nownx

this is what I'm literally experiencing right now. my first utz @4weeks also has free fluid in my douglas sac... the ectopic pregnancy is a no joke to me and making me too anxious. Still waiting for another couple of weeks for the repeat scan. praying for the same result as yours 🙏
So am I. I went in for an ultrasound when I found out I was pregnant just because I was very anxious since I had a miscarriage last year. I had free fluid as well, I had blood work done to measure my HCG levels for several days and it was increasing regularly. This was about 2 weeks ago. I have another scan this Monday, this video made me feel so relieved, although I am still a bit scared to be going through an ectopic pregnancy or another miscarriage 💔

In NY they won't ultrasound until your 7 weeks. Because you won't see a baby until 6 and a half to 7 weeks 😂😂. Women need to be aware of this and deny ultrasounds until then

How far along were you for the 2nd appointment when you were actually able to see the gestational sack?
I'm going threw the same thing. But my Hcg levels were 1,800 when I had my first ultrasound and seen a tiny pregnancy sack. but the doctor told me it could be ectopic or just be a normal pregnancy. That's why she wanted to do more blood work. I thought I was 7/8 weeks pregnant but turns out I was only 4 weeks. So my doctor wanted me to take another test for my hcg 2 days later and they told me that the hcg levels went up a lot to 4,680. I had some spotting but very very light for 2 days and it stopped. And so I was about a week and half since my first ultrasound and my doctor wanted me to get another hcg test done again and my levels went up to 40000 which it supposed to be at 6 weeks which I am now. Today I have another ultrasound so wish me luck.
How did it go? I’m in the same boat right now I thought I was 9 weeks but they said i might be 5

I knew in my heart that it wasnt ectopic and the most beautiful thing happened when I had my ultrasound I heard the heart beat and it was so strong and healthy💕💓. I promise I was thinking the worst myself but go in with a clear head and everything will be okay. But please update me when you get some news?

My doctor thought the same thing but she was so happy to have heard the heart beat.

Hi I just came across your video saw it's quite some time ago u made it. I been thru the same thing my doctor told me he saw a lot of free fluid but he thinks is ectopic pregnancy I was very upset and scared but the nurse told me it's not a ectopic it's just too early to pick up something I'm now 4wk5d symptoms is super hungry very tired very nausea
I am currently going through the same. Had a early scan I am 4 weeks. They noticed free fluid near my right ovary (flaopion tube) however they could see the sac but no baby yet. They said it could be eptopic. Had bloods today having to go back in 2 days for more bloods and in 1 week for another scan to hopefully confirm pregnancy x
I am going through exactly this!! Blood test confirmed pregnancy at a HCG of 170. Started bleeding and went for a sonogram at 4 weeks. Dr immediately said either a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy because he can't see anything. Went for follow up blood work and count went up to 390 in 24 hours. Going for more bloodwork in 2 days and new sonogram at 6 weeks. I was balling my eyes out cause of my dr having absolutely no hope even before seeing the new bloodwork. Staying positive until we go for new sonogram. What a scary few days!
My fingers are crossed for you!! Honestly I'm going through the exact same thing! They saw no bubba but a cyst on my ovary which they are saying could be an ectopic pregnancy, need bloods every 2 days! Good luck for you xxxx

okay so i’m really scared i went in for my ultrasound and we only saw the gestational sac and no yolk and they said i was still very early so is it possible it’s just too early and everything is fine?
Same here I had twice ultrasound already but they can’t see anything 😞 from 177HCG now I got 1092 and next week I have another ultrasound and blood test so I’m hoping that everything will be okay too 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Currently I am facing exactly same...nothing seen today(just a salt grain size sumthing) in ultrasound..but home urine test comes pink...doc advised to visit 10 days later...please pray for me ..this year I had abortion due to fetal anomaly at 13 weeks...pray for me and for my upcoming kid
I really needed this. I went in yesterday and the ultrasound showed nothing so they automatically resulted into “unknown location of pregnancy” or just too early to tell. Crazy how our bodies work, I was told to wait another 2 weeks so praying everything turns out good🤍✨

I went for my first ultrasound a few days ago at 6 weeks and few days was told they didnt see anything and that it might be ectopic pregnancy so I now have to go to another clinic to have my blood drawn and another ultrasound I'm only 18 I hope I don't have to have a tube removed I hope my baby will be okay🥺I've had no bleeding at all and I read you bleed around 6 weeks if you have ectopic pregnancy so hoping everything goes well ☹

Two months completed
Urine ict reports pregnancy positive,
But tvs showing nothing. We did ultra 45 days later & 60 days later but result showing no pregnancy.
But urine test & kit test showing positive.
Doctor told might be ectopic pregnancy,but there is no pain or bleeding from her side.
Totally confused we are

Same thing here. Went for uktrasound yesterday with a positive hpt at 4weeks, but there was no sac and also bhcg test came out to be only 76.
So the doc told me it should be most probably a failed pregnancy. Asked to visit again after 5-6 days if period doesnt come.
It's happened with me too...watched from india...I do the test 4th week and my results are same like yours

I wish my doctor had done blood tests before telling me I'd die and needed surgery. I was only 3.5 weeks and didn't want the ultrasound but care was refused unless I got it. Of course they didn't see the sac. The dr said surgery was the only option if I didn't want to die or lose my tube. Turned out my baby was fine. But now he/she has been exposed to over 22 medications from surgery. Plus the stress of being told my baby wouldn't live and the stress of surgery.

I was told the same thing. I personally would always just keep healthy and maintain. My doctor's helper gave me very false information and said I wasn't pregnant, said it was a chemical pregnancy but turns out it was just my last period for the next 9 months. I would advise everyone to read and do there own research.

Hi ladies, I been feeling a little nausea, headache, fatigue, soreness in left lower tummy and shoulder. It’s been going on for like a few months now. sometimes twinging in left ovarian side. I even went to doctor to have my copper IUD removed due to heavier and longer periods. I did the urine test and came back negative. I’m still stressing about it. I’m thinking of taking a blood test just to be sure. 😪

@@ilovemyindia2821 hi love~^^ I started my period five days ago. It turned from light pink to bright red with no cramps or pain. Medium flow to be exact. I feel like my period cycle changed. I took plan about a week ago. I think that might be the cause of irregular periods. I’ll keep updated. ~^^

Im 6 weeks (4 weeks post conception) and im being told i have to wait till im what like 9-10 weeks.. thats crazy and messed up. Im FREAKING OUT.. I WANT TO KNOW WHATS GOING ON INSIDE ME.. OMG.. I WANT MY HCG levels and i want to know if baby is in the right place.. god i hope so..
My home pregnancy test get darker and darker.. every 2 days i test but i wont anymore cause its nerve recking. Is that a good sign though? A line that gets darker? Any advice is so helpful.

I got one at 4 weeks (per my calc) bc I’m having very mild right side lower pain. But went today and they just said “ovaries look ok. Monitor any increasing pain ” but didn’t say or confirm anything else! I’m so confused…they did draw blood and have to go back into two days for more blood withdrawal to check hormones.
5.5 week only g sac seen they made me so scared and i m scared now😢😢 they said to wait for 2 weeks
In the same boat here right now… Canadian in Europe and I got an ultrasound at 4w5d and she couldn’t see anything except fluid 😢 Just stressing and hoping my next appointments brings better news 🤞🏻

My UPT is positive yesterday after an IUI and im having the similar abdominal pain with free fluid in my abdomen. They suggest to repeat scan again in 1 week time
Going through this literally everything your obgyn said mines said think I’m around 3weeks or maybe even less
So they admitted me for observation glad I can eat that means no surgery this far and I had free fluid as well told me I had internal bleeding I’m like yo lady I feel fine 😂😂😫😫 told my baby stop embrassing me in front of people

I thought I was 7/8weeks but my hcg is 150. The drs did a ultrasound and didn't see much. They say maybe I'm 4/5weeks. And they can't rule out ectopic pregnancy, so I'm stressed. But no bad cramps or anything bleeding besides spotting. :( I get tested in a couple days to see if my levels go up.

Update: Around the end of December (about 12 days before Christmas) my dr said they think the pregnancy was ectopic and they wanted me to end the pregnancy with the shot, I refused and wanted to wait. I had a feeling I was going to miscarry. The dr was rude about it and acted like I didn't know anything. A week later I started spotting way more often and then at the end of that week I was heavy bleeding and had a lot of cramps. I rushed to the hospital "Just in case it was an ectopic pregnancy". After a blood test and an ultrasound the drs told me my body naturally miscarried in the hospital and the drs said I was about 9 weeks pregnant. They weren't able to see anything at this time too. (Sorry it took so long for an update 😊) Oh and before I miscarried my hcg went up but didn't double the whole time. My last hcg level was around the 500/600 range. And I knew that the day i went to the hospital was the day i miscarried because the day before that, I went the the Clinic and my hcg went up by 8.

I went o the ER for camping at 8 weeks. My bloodwork was around 20000 they did an ultrasound they said they saw baby but baby didn’t have no movement. I have an appointment Wednesday again at my ob. Still have hope. Any have this happened?
